Honestly this is one WILD and by far one of THE best melee PvP builds I have played in New World! The synergy it provides is pretty insane.

Dude amazing video I NEVER got higher than 35 in opr but after watching you on twitch and learning how to Manuver /animation cancel/positioning /how to set combos up I’m easily cracking top 15 most games …keep doing your thing !

Fantastic guide and great build, I really enjoy that combo even while not having that crazy equipment :-) Maybe on little side note, for everyone that can not effort getting the perfect build equip right from the beginning. It would be very helpful which to get a hint which perks are a must have, and which are additional :)

Thank you so much and you have a very good point! I will focus on that next time. A must have is definitely resilient and second perk would be Shirking Fortification. It is a two perk very cheap these days although fresh servers might be an issue to get there.

I run something super similar to this for my main melee build and I just did 9 kills 365k damage in 3v3 arena haha. Healer team opponent is why the damage is so crazy.

Hey, what do you think about Crippling Feral Rush? Worth using it in the weapon?

I would say there is already enough of slow debuff from Distancing throw and Relentless Rush so that would be minus one damage perk on the weapon

Hey and welcome! I would put first strength and no constitution points as that will be enough from gear you will have. So lets say 100 STR first then 50 DEX after

I actually crafted those, two of them have even Luck basically all the bis perks haha shoutout to Haitarii the crafter Money making is mostly from mutations drops but that involves RNG

I don’t get why they would remove the jump back after the throw…… it’s literally the name “social distancing”. If they remove that I feel like they should change the ability completely

This build is worth doing from beginning of this is end game build only? I'm lvl 40 playing with my friend healer and I'm looking for some build to get end game and play with it. Any advice?

You can play this build since the start no problem! I played it on my fresh character not too long ago aswell. For PvE you can go light armor for more damage especially if you have a healer friend

@@M4rioR during leveling go for str lets say 100 then dex 100 and con max 50 you dont need a lot. For hatchet tree focus on maxing berserk and get defy death asap. GS should go for skyward first and then relentless rush. Steadfast as last thing

Invigorated punishement is only for abilities and since most damage comes from hatchet light attacks

can u explain pls why nature gems ? its better then 15%dmg when stamina not full? am newbie in this game . but why nature gems nature damage

So there are new gems called Runeglass in many variations that either buff your elemental damage or melee/ranged. This nature buffs my Attunement on hatchet aswell as the weapon gem and nature dot. You could do the same for frost, fire or void

@@serfyt9745 it really depends on what people are running on their armor on the server, we have a lot of players stacking physical or slash on Asgrad I will try % melee damage on armor and go with opal and nature dot today though see if there is any difference

I tried both and nah melee is better well depends what is the meta on server if it is heavy slash resistance nature is better

I believe so yeah after recent changes it could work. I wouldnt dodge the distancing throw then but block right click instead

Im going to have to disagree with your greatsword build, going into defiance stance by blocking seems unpractical, also being in defiance stance it’s terrible for dps output. The steadfast ability or however its called (blue ability that stabs and pulls) its useful for catching people. But thats about it. If you use it prematurely you miss out on the root of the spinning ability or the double rend of the jump. And I cannot see someone blocking 2 sec before using stabby stab to catch someone running away. I feel like the GS build could be further optimized, I mean just looking at your clips u never even use the block.
