A few days ago, I bought this 2015 Mercedes Benz C220 CDI Coupe. It's the coupe form of the W204 chassis (or technically C204 since its a coupe) and it's probably one of the most reliable modern Mercedes. The OM651 bi-turbo diesel engine can last over a million kilomters without major issues.
That is the reason why so many taxi drivers, all throughout Europe pick this engine and transmission every day. Travel to Germany or the UK and you'll see them in many streets.

I’ve had a 2011 C220 and 2012 C350 both saloons, and just got a manual c180 coupe (with the 1.8) and cannot believe how good it is. Definitely has more than the claimed 154hp, genuinely fun to drive

As a driver of a CGI 200 C-Class, wagon, who was also shopping for a coupe, you nailed the plus’s of these cars. Another feature not mentioned is the excellent steering response. A Benz service manager told me that the 204s have the best driving feel of any of the 2000s C-Class models to date. My car has the optional pop up screen with back up camera, which eliminates the issues with the HAL 9000 LEDs on your car. Buy another? Yes, especially a diesel.

Thanks, great to see you here! How did you find it? I was about to comment on your latest video to suggest you start uploading on a separate channel. Otherwise your Spanish audience won’t watch your English videos and the click through rate/retention becomes dismal. Thus, they don’t get promoted on KZfaq. The downside is that growth maybe slower at first and it’ll take a while to get monetized but at 300 subscribers without having told my previous audience I think I’ll get there eventually. Anyway, keep it up at Mr. Groppa!

I own a 2012 coupe c350 4matic. And I have to say it`s really fun to drive. I always criticize the interior quality, comparing to s class of course. But yesterday I went to BMW dealer and tried the new 2023 X3. The interior looks gorgeous on photos, when in reality it`s a huge downgrade in quality! I was impressed by this fact.

We bought the C180 , 2013 version of this car recently with 50k miles, pretty much the same as this one. Ours is petrol though, it seems quite good on fuel economy. Quite like these cars to be honest. Like you we bought for the beautiful sunroof and comfort as I do long motorway journeys, from the south to northern England. I think it's a good purchase as long as the car is checked frequently and serviced.

Maybe the successor W205 is a better car. But it doesn’t feel «solid» as a W204 in the regards of interior 😅

I hate it when car reviewers slate an older car about the infotainment system… ofcourse it’s going to be dated. Such stupid thing to slate. Obviously back in its day it was good. I have this car & in my opinion it’s pretty good despite its time. Ofcourse it won’t be as good as new cars but it’s An older car so that’s inevitable!!

The thing is that it was already dated in 2015 (when this car was built). It makes sense, given that it is essentially a 2007 car underneath, but it's still something that you've got to mention if you're going to review a car.
