DREAMS DO COME TRUE I finally got my new 2023 Corvette C8 Z51 2LT HTC in amplify orange with carbon metallic. This is a more rare color for sure More optimistic and more vivid. Your video gave me a lot of great ideas job well done and congratulations on the sale you deserved it.

A few weeks ago my friend and I were installing a Borla exhaust and a Corsa intake on my 70th Anniversary C8, pearl white metallic. We took a break and I said, “we have been working on cars for 55 years, the first few were a 53 Chevy Pickup, 55 Chevy Belair, and many more. You always keep on learning, going to shows, videos and working on the cars. The C8 is my 7th Corvette. I did learn from your videos, on the wheels you put on the red C8. I did get the Forgedlite MC5. Thank You! I have never kept any of my cars stock, not even m 96 Corvette Gand Sport or the 95 ZR1.

The corvette is an American icon in its own right! This is the car in which others makes compare to! Although I’m not a huge fan of the current C8 styling, I’m still an enthusiast and have owned 5 corvettes. So guys, please stop referring the Corvette to a Ferrari. Corvette sets the bar! Nuff said!

For a “Stock Build Order” l LOVE what I built: 2022 C8 HTC, 2 LT, Red Mist, Black Napa Leather Interior, Black Seat Belts, Z51, Package, GT2 Seats, Mag Ride, Front Lift, Carbon Flash Painted Mirrors & Spoiler, Battery Protection Package, Tow Hook, Contoured “Jake” Liner Protection Package, Stock Wheels Just can’t say enough about Red Mist C8 was taken by enclosed trailer directly to Blackout Tinting in Latrobe, PA for PPF & Ceramic Coating. They were kind enough to install the ACS Rock Guards as the OEM Splash Guards were on constraint. Currently just under 1,500 miles. Soon to be in shape for Launch Control Take Off 0-60 Runs.

This is a great video. The car is very nice and not overdone. I loved your video on the wheels, it helped me choose my Vossens. I almost purchased those wheels in a mono block setup. I am a fan of the brushed aluminum as well. Update us when the Zo6 comes. Brian.

Darren, the car as a whole is phenomenal !! The wheels and lowering really are what does it for me. I do have 2 questions. Are those the same wheels that you guys showed on the wheel tey on video? And do you have any rubbing or problems with the lowering? Ive been hesitant to pull the triger on lowering my 2020 with magride. But it just needs it for the stance i really want.

Definitely remarkable car, both from an aesthetic and performance point of view. Engine of the C8 Z06 definitely the best naturally aspirated V8 engine. To be the envy of the best Maranello engines. Congratulations Corvette .... after so many Ferraris my garage will host this "American dream" 💛🇺🇲

Ola Darren, Super badass build. Congrats bruh. Your (new owner) 70th Anniversary C8 Corvette is absolutely magnificent. I hope that buyer knows just how lucky he is. However, what I can't stand is comparing it to or making mention of Ferrari. It's an all American design, an all American engineered and an all American built Chevrolet C8 Corvette. Just installed the AWE touring yesterday. It wasn't that hard and definitely more rewarding if you do it yourself. Also put on the corsa high flow cats. Thing sounds the way it should have from the factory.

100% on the Wheels. Don’t jump on me for this next comment, but back in the 70s I liked Mopars. Now a lot are pictured with “Dog Dish Hubcaps” and a lot came thru sold with them. You go out and get a set of 5 Spoke Cragars or Keystones and you have a totally different look!!! I not brand specific! I like looks of a vehicle not just an engine. Very happy now with owning a 2022 C8, 2009 Mustang GT, 2013 BMW, and several Explorers. Would like to get a Challenger, but the C8 took that slot.

I hate the stock wheels on the C8, especially the offset as it makes the cars look terrible. This car is awesome and you’re right, the aftermarket wheels and the lowered suspension really makes this car look amazing!

The car definitely looks great. But besides the wheels, the main thing that makes it look more like a Ferrari, is that it has that level spoiler in the back. The z51 spoiler ruins the beautiful lines of the car. And it's about time Chevy woke up to that fact because they're fixing it with the new options and with the ERay.

The Z06 (with that crazy flat-plane V8) is more the American Ferrari, but just the mid engine gets you partway there. I like the low wing and the wheels too. I like the new monochrome look on the eRay though, without all that black trim.

The WPMT 70th Anniversary cars are really great looking C8's. Not a fan of the wheels on your car as I think they are way to busy. I am a fan of the simplicity of the new 5 spoke wheels coming on the E-Ray as they really show off the brake calipers colors.

No wheel spacers used, these wheels are built this way, no rubbing front or rear.

A friend has a 70th anniversary in Pearl white…the camera does not do it Justice. I love the wheels and the lowered look. One question…did lowering the car drastically effect the ride quality? Your car looks AWESOME!

Great looking car but I don’t feel the need to compare the C8 to Ferrari or any other “exotic” from across the pond. The C8 is far superior when you consider all aspects of the ownership experience. BTW, GM should have done a better job with the 75th anniversary badging. Looks out of place stuck up on the door. I feel the badge should be smaller and located lower, perhaps behind the front wheel arch or anterior to the rear wheel arch. Thanks for the video.
