Actually you can blame them. The dice in the casino have to meet very strict standards for things like scratches ect. I shot one round where I accidentally threw the dice so they flew off the table. Once they leave the table they can't be used anymore.

On a cruise ship, my son and i talked my daughter, (a craps virgin) into shooting. She picks them up and cups both hands around them. They pull these dice and she picks 2 new ones. Now holding them in one hand, she brings that hand way off the table. They pull those dice and give her the last 2. She tosses them dead into the dealers stacks of chips and rolls 5. (Dealer is pissed.) Next throw, one goes off the table. She doesn't call same dice, but they need more dice so we're waiting for the pit boss. Finally one of the other players yells out, "Give her the damn same dice! Does she look like David Copperfield to you guys?" They give her the same dice and she promptly rolls a 7. She now hates craps...

Just go with 100. Put the minimum on the pass line (which give the house a 1.41% edge: one of the safest in the casino) and observe for an hour before asking thee very first question. Trust me you will quickly pick up on what makes you money and what cost you money.

I did that a couple times the last time I played. They let it slide because I was hitting and bringing so much attention to the table. Me and a few of the other players were making bank. Other players saw the flying dice and how hot I was. They started overbetting so they got cleaned out when I hit big red.

Iv played craps for over 20 years and heard people from hood environments / street craps players snap all the time and no one has ever told the shooter not to snap. They have said both dice hit wall, you have to move the dice, can play with them, this is a first hearing that.

Because, it's irrelevant to modern acrylic dice. He mainly called out the dice off the table. "Snapping", dates all the way back to when dice were still made of bone, and early plastics, that were prone to rounded edges from "snapping"...No longer relevant to modern resins...

We'll just dump the bowl on you and go to the next shooter, if the bowl gets dumped on you it means you can't shoot for the rest of the day at any dice table in the joint. Casinos don't really WANT to kick anyone out so we don't do it casually or for minor infractions that we have other ways of dealing with. Just don't get belligerent with staff or other players and you'll be fine.

His bet counts the same as placing the 4…that’s why he put his bet on the line and not directly in the Pass line zone. So it’s not as bad as you think .

House rules you can only handle the dice with thumb index and middle finger . When you hold to them to snap them they can't tell if you swapped the dice . The dice need to be in full view of the stickmen and the boxmen

They are referring to the snapping sound you hear just as the clip starts its the die in the shooters hand and the pressure of pushing the die together and one rolling against the other while still in your hand makes a snapping clicking type sound,it can damage dice

#1. He took the dice off the table. They don't like this because in the past, shooters would switch with loaded dice) #2. He "snapped" the dice together. (Older, and no longer relevant way of rolling the edges of dice, that carried over to today...) No real player advantage is gained, but dealers think it looks like something shady is going on.

This is called past-posting. You see the rolls a 7 and try to drop money on the pass line which is a win. When “the mob” ran the casino, this kind of stuff got you a visit to the back room where you’d be tuned up and told never to return.

Nope. It was the come out roll so you have part of that right I guess. He rolled a three I believe. It's a crapless craps game so it's hard to read where they marked it. Anyway after the come out roll they mark a point and the guy straight out from the dealer drops his money on the pass line to place the point. Perfectly legal. It's the same as dropping the dealer money to place numbers only he's doing it himself because the pass line becomes the point and the player has it right in front of him Here's an edit. The reason the dealer dressed the shooter down is the snapping, or grinding the dice together before throwing them. Any altering of the edges or corners of the dice results in the removal of the set of dice. They're changed over the course of the day because of natural wear but when a player grinds the on purpose it's considered manipulation......or cheating that is
