Two Amaranthe songs you should check out are "Drop Dead Cynical" and "Endlessly." I'll also drop my usual suggestion of "Not Dead Yet" by Jen Ledger (Skillet's drummer), and if you're a GoT fan, "Jenny of Old Stone" by The Dark of the Moon (Amaranthe's drummer, lead singer of Ad Infinitum, among others)

One of the things I love the most about your channel is how startling out you were a hip hop fan and the music that played on your logo was the catchy tone and as your page progressed so too did the song until you became an official metalhead and decided it was time to incorporate metal into the intro because you’re one of us, it’s perfect

The acoustic version to this song is actually me and my wife's first dance at our wedding. I love the meaning through this song and felt it was the right choice. To add to this you need to listen to some of their new stuff with the newer lead male vocalists The Helix is my personal favorite

GG6 isn't new, the "new" guy does the male clean vocals. Henrik has been with them since the first album. Also this song is what my wife and I had our first dance to at our wedding reception. The DJ thought he had the acoustic version that we requested, but had snagged this one by accident as it and the acoustic start the exact same way.

For context, this song is from their first album released back in 2011, a whole decade ago! This was the first song I heard by the group back then and I was instantly hooked. The band is known for having three vocalists, but the lineup has had two changes over the years. Elize Ryd is the female vocalist and has been with the group since the beginning. In this video, the clean male vocalist is Jake E. Lundberg and the harsh male vocalist is Andreas Solvestrom. Andreas left the group after the second album and was replaced by Henrik Englund Wilhelmsson, or better know by his stage name, GG6. He is the current harsh male vocalist. Jake was in the group for the first four albums, then left. He was replaced by Nils Molin. So as it stands now, GG6 has been in the group for the past four albums and Nils has been in the group for the past two albums. Amaranthe is great, saw them few times live; also saw Elize as the female guesst singer for Kamelot. On a concert in 2012 she blows out my mind - it was a Kamelot show and I had a early access ticket and stand in front row. At the song "Sacrimony" is a growl part, normally done by Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), I thought the part won't be live and they will use a tape insteat....but nope, Elize went down on her knees, took my hand and growled me straight into my face - HOLY SHIT!!!

I saw them live in Royal oak Michigan. We were right in front of the stage and when she sang the intro verse,she had the crowd sing and I have a video of it from my old iPhone 6. I’ll have to post it in these comments sometime for ya. It was a great moment in my concert history 😀

I used to sing this song (or well, the acoustic one) to my lover. Sure, not as great as the original artists but it always put a smile on her face so totally worth it! Sadly she passed away, but hearing this song always makes me smile, think about her. Smiling like she always did really. I miss her every day, will never forget her. My dream Amaranthine. ❤

Too bad you didn't discover them sooner. I got to see them when I was stationed in San Antonio (pretty close to your neck of the woods) back in 2016 or 17. They played at the Paper Tiger. Great show by a great band.
