Ayup everyone! Hopefully you guys are enjoying the lovely weather, because IM NOT! Being mobile, in this heat, is difficult but we keep going. as what ‪@MatArmstrongbmx‬ says Hard Work Beats Talent o_0!
2 different cars here today, slightly longer video as a lot of you guys were asking.
We got a VW Caddy in for a floppy clutch pedal and a Volvo XC90 5 Pot Petrol for a coolant leak! Watch the video to find out what we did on these vehicles.

Next time use the original coolant tank cap it fits better. Ihads a new tank with cap and after a few days the cap blew off. The original tank lid fitted fine and is still holding up strong.

I hope the Ad Blue pump stops when the level gets too low, I had to replace an AB pump that got destroyed due to crystallization because the owner constantly ran it low

Brake fluid is hygroscopic and mixes well with water. When cleaning up brake fluid spills just spray water at it until it runs off. 100x easier than trying to mop it up and cheaper than using brake cleaner

Does that diag tool do a full diag scan on VW cars like vagcom does or snapon does?

Yes, It can do full diag on most of popular cars in the world. But it is generic obd2 scanner, The features will be limited on newer cars after 2021.

I've got a volvo V40 D4 r design 2.0 diesel year 2014 ,the engine light is on EGR valve fault diagnostic test, it's been on now for 6 months the car runs fine never had any problems with it, no loss of power ever, no limp mode ever, no ruff idle, no stalling ever, so I don't see the point of replacing it when the only problem is the light on the dashboard and the garage wants 13 hundred all in for new parts and labour is that the going rate? And if left will it cause more problems?

£1300 for a new EGR? That’s not right…? I’d say whole job is no more than £400ish? If they’re planning to remove the whole cooler and valve assembly, then maybe. Again, just because it’s on the diagnostic that it’s the EGR, doesn’t mean that the EGR is at fault. It could just be a simple break somewhere on the wiring so make sure that it’s diagnosed correctly The answer is maybe. If the valve is stuck closed, then I think you’ll be okay. If it’s stuck on open position, it can potentially damage your PCV, DPF and anything within the intake/exhaust line

@themarvelousvlog Yeah that's 13 hundred for the EGR valve cooler, the all system, and labour, See like I said before I don't want to spend that much if my car isn't broken, If it was stuck open I would have other symptoms telling me something is wrong ,maybe for a split second it got stuck open or closed triggered the engine light but then rectified it's self, what's your thoughts

@sheffcitys2forgedinsteel255 couldn’t really tell unless I diagnose it 😅 Over the internet, I can only guess. 😂. If you assumption is correct, delete the codes, if it comes back a week or few days later, or a minute later, then your EGR defo needs investigating. I don’t think the whole assembly needs replacing unless the cooler itself is at fault too

if your using glue always sniff it for 10 minutes or so 1st to test if its nice and fresh and going to work, there's nowt worse than a if roof you repaired flies off after using dodgy glue, your customers wont be pleased getting their wigs wet 20 miles down the road will they eh👴👵

Deionized water is pure GARBAGE for cooling system. Only distilled water is good. No surprise why that vehicle goes junk....you killed it!

Imagine paying 1200 or 1300 quid only to be told sorry mate the problem is still there after changing the wrong part

Easily done in 2-2.5hrs but Haynes says 5 🤷🏽‍♂️

@themarvelousvlog top man ill say yes then. I don't like working on by back after been in a workshop all day on a 2 poster but hey think of the money! You guys take on some rough jobs on floor. Did a 1.6 jtd 6 speed doblo. That was horrible. Wouldn't like to do that on axle stands!

I really hate PSA cars they're absolutely garbage. Stick with Japanese or Korean. German cars aren't as good as they used to be, German plastic fantastic parts.
