This was a closer look at my tool cart. I don't think I'll ever be able to sell this cart since we've been through it all together. This was the perfect side kick to my main toolbox. I tried to make it as efficient as possible, and it served me well. If you enjoyed, hit that like button for me! It helps get this video out to others than might like to see a well organized tool cart. As always, thanks for watching!!

I work industrial maintenance and have ran through probably 40 plus brands of nitrile gloves in the last few years. In my opinion nothing beats harbor freights blue 7 mil gloves. Good mix between durability and flexibility for cheaper than most.

That's a nice cart setup! I've never seen someone with an open top area, but that makes a ton of sense. My "cart" is so full of tools that it no longer moves easily. So it just sits next to my box. No clue why I even have it lol. You're doing it much smarter

I left wrenching because my shop closed but I never went back because of my kids. Seems like this industry prides itself on the long drawn out nights and extended hours techs put in to get cars in and out. After being home with my newborn for a few weeks, I knew I couldn’t go back to that life. The video acts like I was annoyed when my kid popped in to show me his Pokémon, but I’m always just as excited as he is when he’s happy. I appreciate you watching!

All air tools have retired except angle die grinder, angle air drill, and air saw. I believe those Matco impact universals pinless or not, are better than Snap-on. JMHO Yeah, a large full drawer roll cart can turn into a tool box then you need another small roll cart like that one. My most used wrenches today are the Mac Precision torque combination wrenches. A rounded bolt, they beat Snap-on and only the Mac Knucklesaver could compete, but it was a 6 point. The Snap-on 12 point just slipped off. If I bought one set of wrenches, it would be the Mac Tools Precision Torque. You can save a pile of money buy purchasing Blue-Point socket sets. The individual socket sets of 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 inch are laid out very nice. There are different variations so pick the ones you want and try to find new or like new uses sets. Everybody gets the Matco extra long 1/4 and 3/8 locking flexhead because Snap-on doesn’t sell locking flexhead this long. Seen one of the (harbor freight) made in China larger blue-point carts on the truck. It’s 4 times more than harbor freight 5 drawer cart, but larger - not bad really. First I thought who would buy that, but it’s a nice cart.

I think you're the first other person i've ever seen (without deliberately searching) who had and used Genius tools. I was introduced to them when I was in tech school (brand presentation) something like 9-10 years ago and my first major tool haul was their 771pc master set without box. I've been using the majority of that set professionally since, and have had good luck with them. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.

Astro makes a high flow universal I’ve been switching my old air tool swivels to those along with “V” style high flow couplers made a huge difference along with 1/2” air lines . I have that IR impact, used it today to pull the subframe on my 13 focus. Also I have that IR right 3/8 angle impact and it’s impressive in my opinion. The nano is a beast as well! Have you done a video with some background on yourself? I noticed the ASE sticker o your main box would be interested in your automotive background, if you don’t mind sharing of course.

@ToolBoxTour 9 ай бұрын
All my videos are toolbox tours. I may do a live stream here on KZfaq for anyone with questions about me. Not sure when that will be, but I will give everyone a day/time they can tune in. However as far as the ASE sticker goes - I wrenched professionally for about 14 years total.

Love the content, I regularily watch your videos. I'd have to agree on the pinned vs pinless universial design ontop of the fact that the captive hardware used to retain the pin seems add more bulk to an already bulky socket (and if its not held captive that pin is guaranteed to pop out). Also that prevost opbd201 seems to be a compareable sidestep to the cornwells and such, there is also the astro 3sb40 which seems on par with the others and is slightly cheaper if people really want to watch their wallet seeing most are familiar with the astro name. Final thing is im disappointed I didn't get to find out what pokemon were acquired. 😄 Have a good weekend.
@ToolBoxTour
@ToolBoxTour 9 ай бұрын
Yeah that does look like a good alternative to the Prevost. The Craftsman is one of the very few options to find a USA made pinless design out there, but the Gearwrench should satisfy most people. And I agree about the captive hardware! Just makes things bulky and in the way. Also - he found an electric type Pokémon haha!

@@ToolBoxTournot to be a hater, but a flip top, that flips up from the front, and stands upright..... Like the cheap harbor freight carts..... It's great for putting a magnet plate and displaying tools. It explodes the functional space of the top portion of the box. I would never want a sliding top like this. You can get magnet racks for all the quarter inch and 3/8 sockets ...and stick them on the flip top lid. And use the entire top level horizontal portion for wrenches and pliers
@ToolBoxTour
@ToolBoxTour 9 ай бұрын
I don’t think you’re a hater at all! Since I’ve left wrenching, I actually don’t care for the slide top since I can’t open the top without moving it away from the wall. I agree with you 100%. It worked super well for me while I was wrenching professionally though. 💪

I have those air swivels on almost every single one of my air tools. They are all Cornwell. Just FYI. Cornwell is the only company that will lifetime warranty their swivels. Snap-on one year. Mac one year. There are a few other brands and they are still just one year. The seals inside of them will go bad. But I will say I have not had any go bad yet on the Cornwell. Yet 🤞 now that I said that I'm going to have one go bad Monday😂

The shop I worked at closed down right when my son was born so I took some time off. Never went back. I have an e-commerce business that I run now.

You should use those x-cores before you recommend them. They are absolute garbage. The pinless matcos are amazing, but the gearwrench x-cores are terrible!! Great video!!

I have the exact same one in blue, I want to buy another one I love the sliding top get a little bit more room out of the top. I mounted a harbor freight in side cabinet onto it it matches almost perfectly, I bet if you found the one in Green would be pretty close, makes it a whole different cart
