Mark has the most experience out of any technician I have had on this channel to date. It was truly an honor to have him on, and spend time going over his tools. Mark doesn’t know this, but when I was filming B-roll for this video, I asked a couple of the guys if they enjoyed working at the shop. Both said they loved it and would never leave. They said it was because the people who they work with weren’t like other shops where the senior techs have chips on their shoulders (they put it a different way). I knew exactly what they meant and it put a smile on my face. Mark if you’re reading this, know that the people you work with, really do enjoy your lead. Thank you so much for the tour! If you all enjoyed the tour that Mark took us on, give this video a like!
Here are some Amazon Affiliate Links for some of the tools in the video. As always, prices fluctuate, so prices posted in the video are from during filming.

Awesome tour. Fun fact, there are more unique 3 letter initials out there than there are 4 digit SSN tags. Also, stamping your SSN tag on equipment that people such as coworkers can see leaves you more vulnerable to identity theft. Stay safe!

whoa what an incredible collection of tools and such beautiful toolboxes. I'd never guess that toolbox is that old, it looks brand new. That says a lot about a person. He takes pride in his hard work and tools. And what an amazing wealth of knowledge he must have, yet very humble and down to earth. The company and especially its younger employees are very fortunate he's still there. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mark nice seeing someone from another state and county that did the same thing I did for 30 years. I also worked on Thomas and Blue Bird buses my hole career . People see my shop at home and can't believe how many tools I have. But when I retired and brought my boxes home from the bus garage and added them to my shop at home now I have triplets of everything . I did here you say you had 33 years in. But take it from me retirement is WONDERFUL I love working now from my shop at home. When I started back in 1980 we were running the old butterfly hood international's wow how the buses have changed over the years. I know you've seen it also. Nice tour and nice stuff.

I really enjoyed seeing Mark's setup. I also agree with him on the superiority of the Snap-On Comfort grip screwdrivers versus the Instinct Handles stuff.I have both and nearly always grab the comfort grip every time. I had a 12 piece black handled comfort grip set that I absolutely loved. I bought them when I was a starving college student in 1979 but the handles started to chemically decompose and disintegrate just lying unmolested in the tool box drawer and man did they ever smell bad ! Snappy warrantied them out but sent the Instinct handles as replacements. It was better than a poke in the eye with a stick I suppose.

I had several do that ooze thing. Dealer said snap-on had Kodak involved in the handle manufacturing. You’d open a drawer and smell it and the handle would look like it was sweating. Really weird!

I spent 30 years in the same industry with a school district, We were lucky that the school board supplied all tools. The powers to be were always in question why we spent so much on tools and equipment. I surly hope the dealer that this gentleman works for compensates him well. School buses are a highly technical field today as compared to when I started with gas engines and no power steering and stick shifts.

Very cool. Two questions I’d like to ask every tech: 1) Your shop is on fire and you can save *one* thing from the box. What do you go for? 2) The 4 trucks pull up outside and between em are carrying the full line of Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Cornwall and also Lisle, Knipex etc. You can buy 1 thing only. What do you want?
