The last Heritage Foundation line item recommendations to change ratings criteria for specific conditions were followed during the end of the Trump administration unfortunately. Congress is the problem and you can clearly go look at who votes against veterans bills such as the PACT ACT.

I just have to say this so listen carefully Veterans. Whatever changes the VA has done seems to be working. What do I mean by that. 20 years ago I had a 0% disability rating, this year my disability rating is at 90%. 60% is due to the PACT ACT which I hope doesn’t get taken away if Trump becomes President and 30% is from the Insomnia due to TERA which surprised me because I tried to get my Insomnia secondary due to my tinnitus. But anyway the VA seems to be on the right track on getting benefits to Veterans that been waiting for decades like me so I have no complaints

At 88% (90%). No matter what I need 50% 'somehow'. Have no MH rating but am seeing a VA doc for PTSD/Anxiety. Have combat (GW) and an aircraft accident as stressors....just need to get my info together and file for the last 30+ years of torment. 100% ? Who knows. Depends on the rater I guess.

It almost seems worth it going for claims that you know you will only get 0% for it you aren't 100%, in hopes of in the near future there is a change in the rating schedule.

I told my doc I felt uncomfortable about Something and he typed up I REFUSED to do something. SMH . That was wrong. Make sure y’all look at what they type in your interview. I didn’t “refuse “ anything.

In July 1992 I got a SSB of $30,000 in an honorable discharge eight months after that I had low back problems in 2006. I filed a low back claim took it all the way up to the highest level and was denied now I have a 0% rating for low back, I applied for TDI because I was rated at 80% and I C&P examiner told me that they had found an x-ray from 1978. That service connects my lower back now I’m still waiting for my TDIU decision for 100% rating they’re also on the DOD side going to take my compensation money in September and I filed a hardship, but it didn’t get approved

So, am I covered to go to private doctors for all of my problems? I'm rated at 70% and am trying to get to 100 because of things the VA does not have an file.

What if you are rated and are scheduled for a re evaluation. Do they use the new criteria only or is the re examination under whatever criteria you were originally rated under?

I have that, and ask for a rating change on IBS and others, the VA rat or changed the Rating and the name

So much click bait B.S. I quit refileing claims because even the sht that I had from the military causes a disability was repeatedly denied. I just had a surgery from an injury that I had wile in service and it was denied for a rate increase . I have sleep apnea with surgery to remove my Uvula and soft tissue and I still have sleep apnea. Denied I have had 4 heart attacks 8 stents and a triple bypass. Denied. I have high blood pressure which was diagnosed while in the army . Denied I have severe tenitis and hearing loss . Denied I have arthritis from injuries wile in the service. Denied I had a lead lined safe drawer dropped on my toes that we used for storage of classified material. Allowing 1 but not both. Denied. My V.A doctor told me on our first meeting not to ask her to write up disability rating reports because she doesn’t do them. Denied I E.T.S . Date was 1986 I have filed with many veterans service officers in several counties in my state for years. Denied. I am ready to quit trying any more. I have a 20 percent disability rating and I probably won’t get any higher. I am very disappointed with the system and I won’t try anymore. I feel let down and disrespected by the V.A. Why is it so hard to get disability from the army when you served honorably and I see people who didn’t even make it through boot camp and have much more ratings than me? Disappointed with the V.A. Is an understatement.

I was denied both migraine and Gerd claim when I filed for direct service connection under TERA from the Gulf War. My question is can I do a supplemental claim but under aggravation due to ptsd service connection? Can you advise me how to go about this? Will my initial filing date still count for back pay if I do a supplemental claim with a different service connection?

Do you have the list of these GI conditions? My husband’s VA officer wants to see it. Says unless the problem was caused by his military service he can’t claim it. Help please.

I been appealing my GERD which I filled Dec 23. On my decision letter I was rated under the New Rating. Should I been rated for both the old and New Ratings?

I’ve been told, max they will pay up to 300%. I’m visually impaired, blind right legal blind left eye . Take a red and white coffee stir stick cut in half, hold up to your good eye that is what /I have left in the left eye. My Doc as wrote this permanent. Even tho am blind in the right it is the power and try’s to over ride the left eye. My civilian my wrote in his notes to the Va records. Nothing has appeared. Am still under community care. Through Spokane VA. I live 98miles from the Spokane VA. My wife is the only driver. She also care giver for her mother who is 99 years old. I don’t drive.
