Im sorry if you already figured this out, but with Yasuo, his 'flow' fills up by +4 everytime he crits, so items that 'can crit' will also make ur flow go +4. Meaning Boomerangs, statik shivs and any thing with a ton of projectiles + Projectile count upgrade will make it so youre just using your tornados with no delay

Loving the character development XD. Your biggest problem right now is your movement. You can never outrun or dodge the swarm, when you're surrounded or in a bad spot, stand still! you're panicking and trying to run when you should be hunckering down and creating a safe zone. "They're behind me! Where am I supposed to go?", literally nowhere, stay in place and kill them untill you have room to move forward slightly, then kill some more and move slightly more.

I really appreciate these swarm videos because they helped put some perspective on something I was thinking about. So often with league youtubers/streamers, you don't really get to see them outside of their comfort zone. League is their main game, and for some, it may even be their only game. Here, we've seen you go through an arc, learning about the mechanics of a game and all of its intricacies. I won't say it hasn't been frustrating at times, but it allows for this little bit of introspection: If i0ki or anyone of his skill level watched someone like me playing league, they would see the same things. Obviously, one should strive to improve and be excellent in all things, but improvement happens at an individuals pace, and is impacted by their adjacent experience. This little glimpse behind the high level plays and into the guy who's just playing to improve and have fun really helps to remind myself that when it comes to your area of expertise (league) you arent a metric by which i should measure my skill, but instead a goal i should aspire toward, just as i wouldnt measure your rate of improvement in survivors games against my own. Essay in your comments section aside, you have been improving incredibly quickly and have been very receptive to feedback. This has been very fun to watch. I'm proud of you. so, great run! From my experience with swarm I may have a few tips: 1) If possible focus on a champion and buy upgrades that synergies well with his kit, eventually you'll get enough money to upgrade everything. Not sure if it's the best way, but I also tried to upgrade the gold thing ASAP, the faster you upgrade the easier it is to get even more gold for even more upgrades right? 2) If you're focused on finishing everything solo then keep it up, as a shortcut, you can queue up for matchmaking island where they put you with 3 other players, most of the time there will be at least 1 person who can carry all, and this way you can get lot's of gold rather easily, I remember around 7k a round, a few games like this and you can upgrade almost everything 3) Try to focus solely on things that synergies well with your champion, for example Seraphine doesn't need to build tanky, focus for her to get project count, haste, movement speed, crit, damage, and one situational (tanky or exp or anything to upgrade a weapon if you had bad luck). Also try to get ONLY projectile weapons that you can upgrade on her, because of her passive and haste/prjectile count. Basically this game-mode speaks "exponential growth". More haste, more passive, more attacks. More dmg, every attack that now has haste is stronger. more projectile, you also launch even more damage. More crit, now you get plenty of hits with 200% damage. Pretty much every champion in the game except Leona wants those stats only, you either go an unstoppable force by going full ballistic, or an unmovable object as Leona (although, it's harder to defeat Bel'veth as Leona since she just has less damage) 4) I feel like EXP is a bait most of the time, if you get strong early (weapons, stat upgrades), then you can do more yuumi/belveth missions, semi-bosses, that will upgrade you faster then leveling up by 10% faster if it makes sense. Also, adding that movement speed is an under-rated stat, it helps you with so many missions (running for different yuumi missions, avoiding bel'veth meteorite trials, reaching missions faster so that you can finish before the difficulty gets too high, avoiding attacks, gathering exp faster, and there are so many synergies with movement speed on Yuumi augments). Also, don't be afraid to trade some of the health for damage or haste in Yuumi's augments, especially for characters like Yasuo/Riven/Seraphine who gets shields. 5) Probably you already figure this out, but if you don't need to go to any mission, and you have enough damage, it's often good to turtle in 1 area, ESPECIALLY late-game and on the bomb and frog waves. It's easier to gather the exp, to defend, to avoid attacks etc. 6) I get the tip with leaving the augments cards, but I feel like it's so easy to get them if you are strong, that 90% of the time it's not worth. Sure, if you know a map pretty well, and you know at what point you'll have defeated all the bosses and trials, and you are close to full build, and you're already strong enough to reach the final boss and wants to save so you can defeat it, it's worth, but just be careful to collect them before the arena gets all red. 7) sometimes you just have bad-luck, for me it's better to surrender early if I expend all my re-rolls and I barely get something good, but yeah, if you just want to have fun and play anyways it's understandable. 8) If you have 2-3 weapons upgraded, and you feel you don't have time to upgrade the rest of them(which eventually will be totally possible to get to the final boss with 5 upgraded weapons), it's often better to get raw stats so you can make the OP weapons you already have stronger (like dmg, crit, haste, projectile, etc). Same tip apply if you got bad luck and you have a weapon that is useless on your champion (like radiant virtue or frozen block on Seraphine), just avoid upgrading them. As champion recommendation, indeed I feel like Yasuo it's the most broken one, once you get your tornado upgraded you are pretty much invincible, he has good AoE damage, good self-peel, good mobility, shields, invulnerability, single-target damage, everything. A thing I like to do with Yasuo on that specific map is to get to lvl 3 ASAP and then fight the first semi-boss, you can dash trough the red wave and you won't get any damage. I also like to keep 3 charges of dash on him and use them only when I'm in a tight spot early, late it won't matter as much, but you can use it to avoid bombs damage, the frog's poison, to reach missions faster etc. Auror feels to me the weakest one, which is weird for RITO but idk, she just takes forever to scale, and her passive is never good, like 3 seconds to do more damage? MOST champions defeats everything in 3 seconds. Illaoi feels weak to me as well, sure she is insane to stay in one place, but you need to move and do Yuumi and Belveth trials if you want to win, I did win with her even on Extreme mode, but with high efforts and enough trials to get lucky. Basic idea on Illaoi is to keep your ultimate from when you need to change places, build as much MS as possible, then run to objectives and hit your ultimate to get a new safe zone with tentacles. TL;DR Haste+Crit+Projectors+Damage+MS+upgradable weapons from those = GG on 90% of champions.

On characters like seraphine and yasuo when you're attack gets large enough to AoE in every direction it's pretty helpful to turn the auto aim back on and focus on positioning

Your last run was so good. You really needed the Yumi quests to get enough DPS to beat Belveth solo

One thing you should notice, is that there are 3 tabs currently available on the unlocks, one for story levels, one for hard levels, and a third which is character story things... the Hard tab can only be done on hard, but the story can be done on hard too, the character ones have set difficulties and levels with certain characters, like yasuo on this lab level

NICE IOKI Great improvement here! Crit on Sera isn't the greatest but it's definitely not troll either! For Sera - Ability haste is super strong, more E & R = more invulnerabiltiy, more bouncing waves with basic ability and all of her best weapons scale really hard with it. The reason crit is so nasty on Yasuo is because every time you crit you get 4 flow which lets you proc tornadoes way more. Yasuo damage with a build like you had your first run gets truly nuts if you have a bit more crit upgrades. That's probably the only passive stat that I prioritize over weapons, and only for Yasuo. For Bel veth you're absolutely right, it's a timed challenge. Seraphine can do it but it's tough. Here's a breakdown of the weapons for ya: UwU - Best single target DPS in the game. Amazing to have for belveth. Scales ridiculously with projectile, haste and crit Static - Best overall weapon once it's upgraded. The lightning rings you had are amazing for general waveclear, and the fact it targets highest health is good. It's not the best for single target damage but to get to the final boss it's amazing. Boomerang - solid damage overall. Great for AoE damage Mines - not the best, positioning them is tough and they only go around you so their damage is pretty inconsistent Train - very high damage, unreliable targeting. Good for farming gold when it's upgraded though Radiant - Only good on leona, briar, and illaoi imo. It is nice that it evolves with health though so you can get a two for one passive Vortex - Terrible weapon. more than half the time it completely misses unless you're surrounded, and each projectile only hits one time Searing shortbow - can't evolve, never take due to area size bug Crescent - Kinda mid, the evolve isn't great either Iceblast - can be nice for survivability - it definitely helped you a lot on your sera run there. It sacrifices an entire evolved weapon of damage though, which against bel veth isn't great Gatling - Honestly solid AoE damage, evolved is pretty good too since it provides peel Cyclone - low damage, weak knockback, bad evolve stat. Not great but if you're about to die it can save you Crossbow - I don't think you've unlocked it yet, but it does nasty damage. Targeting is definitely unreliable until you evolve it though. Bunny orbital strike - I can't remember the exact name but it does really good damage too and also crits. I don't think you've unlocked this one either. Against belveth, UwU is pretty much required, boomerang, static, crossbow are probably the highest single target damage weapons left after that - they all crit. Keep on keepin on dude, great to see you learning :) PS! Gold is OP

Backseat gaming: These games are always a long-term investment. Every run, even a win, serves only to further unlock your permanent upgrades/unlock characters/unlock weapons. So that's a great mindset to keep when playing Bullet Heaven games - there is no losing. Only different levels of success. Game recommendation for this genre: Check out "20 Minutes Till Dawn". It's a lot simpler than Vampire Survivors, but has its own ways in which it is fun and worth your time. The graphics are less old-school, but still something unique (particularly for Dark Mode enjoyers). I played Vampire Survivors first out of this genre, and liked it, but 20 Minutes Till Dawn is the one that really clicked for me.

It's fun to see you learning about the game mechanics and meta progression, you've come a long way since the first video where you were completely clueless 😆. btw yeah Bel'veth is kind of a damage check, if your build is not strong enough the circle will simply close in on you and you'll die. Lack of synergy, weak weapons and weak passives definitly make it harder to beat her solo (like getting ice blast armor instead of another projectile weapon for seraphine, that just decreases your damage output for a whole lot).

The other big thing for yasuo is he throws tornados more often the more attacks you land, so projectile count is huge and maxing projectile out of in game is big. You start with 3 tornados out of the gate.

Certain weapons are good on certain champs. Seraphine can double cast and upgrades with projectile count, you want weapons with projectiles. Yasuo wants crit and move speed, leona wants hp and armor etc.

The single most important thing to remember when this releases on live servers and you need to grind all the gold to buy upgrades, is that your first priority must be to unlock the gold upgrade and buy it to max level. Doing this will give you 45% extra gold and therefore reduce the total play time required to buy all the upgrades by around 31%, which is massively helpful!

ability haste (and projectile oc) are bis for seraphine, make you wave more and use you E more often

So those shoes... evolved stack very well with riven and yasao, yasaso's base weapon is incredibly strong evoled with projectiles that xbow is amazing as well

To answer your question how I would know all these tips. I’ve played tons of hours in mobile horde survivor games, and I enjoy league as well haha. Generally the strategies on how to prioritize upgrades are the same among hoard games. Pro tip: Play more Aurora, she is god tier with her upgrades online.

ayyy, perks unlocked, now we cooking. its not just the crit that helps. the extra projectiles halp a lot too especially on yas and sera usually i only play there kind of games on my phone, but oh well. its fun as heck. so i dumped about 120 hours into it on PBE already

Once you've played games like this it goes over from game to game. Then you also have to realize that some people just spend all day everyday trying to figure these types of games out to maximize efficiency

The best way to get XP is to stay in one place for a while and then collect the orbs

When i hardcore ran through this gamemode area size was bugged and it wouldn't appear. Not sure if it's fixed but if I isn't dont worry about any of the area size stuff.

Commenting this 5 minutes in so not sure if its gonna be needed but: You gotta run Briar, damage, crit chance, ability haste, max hp + your choice For weapons try to get all 3 hp options, the crit laser, the train, and then anything as the 6th. You'll do enough damage to full tank Bel'Veth with just your e, and your ult lets you jump straight to the fight and saves time When you get to the point of the game where the frogs come in, stand still and kill them. Bombs aren't a problem with the crit laser, it knocks them out so easily.

Precisely because of how busted projectile count is, you only get actual bonuses at levels 1 3 and 5, with levels 2 and 4 being an "extra price" to pay for the power the stat gives

You asked how we know so much already but you pretty much answered it yourself, I've personally watched a couple hundred hours of "survivor" type games like this from a channel called Sifd. He's a min-maxer who always just absolutely bends over any game he plays and makes it his... Well you know. Anyway yeah I've seen dozens and dozens of vampire survivor runs and plenty of other similar games. They all tend to have the same mechanics

I highly suggest projectile count, sound wave, damage, and ability haste on Seraphine. It will AOE much better than the weapons

How do I know these things: I've played a lot of the survival games and they are pretty good about recycling the same weapons and skills. Obviously, League has added its own flair and style to some, but... play one and you play 80% of the others.

It's a dps check, you had iceblast which is low dos and not a projectile weapon (bad on seraph), and an un evolved bunny blaster.

uwu blaster has the most dps single target dmg in the game and can crit, criting with yas generates flow with more flow means more tornados, u should keep this in mind and go wepons that can crit and pls unlock projectile upgrade to start the game with 3 tornados

With crit builds, the boomerang and uwu are the key. As many small crits as you can get. So shiv is op, but not the best for a crit build. Any wepain with a ton of projectioles that can crit are the best. But no joke, with just uwu and boomerang, haste, crit, and movespeed, yasuo just goes critical, pun intended.

I will say this, Swarm is way harder than Vampire survivor. The biggest difference is the map, Swarm is not only smaller but also way more restricted to move around.

Could of used your ultimate like 4 or more times during that boss fight. Use it more often for damage also hover your default weapon itll show all the stats that increases its damage. Try getting other weapons that scale eith the same stats.

Prioritize belveth trials early because of the 4 early levels you get

i feel like the exp upgrade is always a waste in VS games unless its required for a specific item evolution. You are giving up 5 cards/levels. And based on the time limit/exp level progession, you dont really get much further. the higher levels require much more exp. So, does getting the exp upgrade give you more than 5 late levels of exp? If not, not worth it.

Seraphine is so good, you’re just focusing in the wrong things. “Survivability” or “damage” none of that matters. All that matters is weapon synergy. Seraphine passive increases projectiles, her key stat is projectile count. So if you take weapons that aren’t projectiles you create anti synergy and inevitably doom your run. Also you should ONLY be picking stats that evolve weapons you have. After all your weapons are able to be evolved then you have the luxury of looking for stats with synergies or unique interactions. Most importantly there is only one stat that matters and that’s wave clear. Killing enemies makes you survive longer than any tank stat ever could. And 10% increased damage is useless if you’re hitting 1 enemy at a time.

Yeah... I thought you said you read every comment: One of the top comments on your last SWARM video was that Bel'veth was a DPS check boss and that yes, you're on a timer to beat her. Standing outside the ring isn't a one-shot, but you will take constant damage standing outside of it. Edit: Also, in response to your question about how people are learning about these mechanics and such I believe the answer is that they just pay attention. They are curious. They research everything that the game will tell them about itself.

yasuo the best items are : Boomerang, Bow, UwU Blaster, and anything else that crits preferably shiv or glove. These all crit and apply multiple procs that tic down his steel tempest and prioritize taking one point into all other stats but crit and max weapons first. EDIT: PLEASE ALSO START TAKING THE STATS THAT LET YOU EVO ABILITY AT LV 5 WITH CARD

you dont prio upgrades, you just pick random stats thast you belive are working with your pick.

More damage you deal = less damage enemies do to you because they are dead. You are playing solo so you cannot afford to buy defenses. You absolutely have to do the max damage possible. You have never taken glass cannon or similar augments when they are actually the meta augments even when solo extreme. Also the ”pick me up” augment is nuts. You literally get every single tiny drop of xp and gold the map has every minute. It is literally 4-5 levels more every game.

How is area size unlocked? I need it to evolve the last two items and haven't seen it once

vampire survivor games are fun, i know one ive recently been playing was holocure which was a vtuber variant of the game, and u just pick up so much info thus is one reason why i hope riot further expands uppon this mode in the future because it has so much potential, and even more so to also become a standalone mone or game
