Try a boat repair shop for aluminum welding. Pontoons are aluminum. Had to have mine welded. Might be worth a shot. But I think you should cut your losses. Find one in better shape later. This one seems to be a money pit.

Love when u mention other channels! Vtuned is very good with bodywork, i mean he completely dissasembled and assembked a mclaren.... also tim from backyardboys has amazing skills, you should definitely hit them up

Most frame rails are replaced with rivets and bmw specific glue not welded so I would look into that

AY told you the mighty power of plastic welding would come in use one way or another! Glad the plastic welding for the tabs worked so well, piece by piece it's coming together. Keep it up bro, the i3 is definitely a quirky vehicle but it's really a cool pickup to switch things up on the channel.

NOIUR!!!!! You see those round cylinder looking pins with holes in either side of where you plastic welded the clips, those are for the repair kit. That means there’s a repair kit for those headlights

Baking soda and crazy glue them tabs. Back together seen it in the flesh. It actually works !!

Rich Rebuilds on youtube is the man for EV rebuilds. EV’s are a totally different animal so you might of got in over ur head with this BMW save

Bmw sells replacement brackets to bolt into the bosses you see next to each tab for like $60 for set. At least you should have used metal staples that melt into place and then smear with epoxy. The brackets save you lots of time and risk of future failure.

The hit on the frame was quite hard, also subframe and steering are also damaged, not going to be easy to fix and cheap

Honestly, in my opinion, it’s not worth saving the i3. What’s a rebuilt i3 gonna sell for? Seems like it’s the same case as the 7 series in a way. Other than the mpg I don’t see a reason to keep the car. It’s small so you can’t carry much and I don’t really care of the i3. Jus my opinion so it doesn’t matter.

Bro, I really hated the carbon content. This is what I want to see, you struggle and learning new things. Taking risks. And after all the hard work a trip to the mountains and enjoying the car. But not to long.
