imagine 500 tiny drones swarming a US carrier each only carries a small amount of explosive like 100grams, it doesnt need to do massive damage all it needs to do is fly near important equipment and detonate, it would cause major problems for example radar or example it flies into an engine and explodes sending some metal shards into the engine essentially grounding the plane like a bird strike.

Not true, the USA has alrwady deemed chinese electronics a security threat and already began programs to eliminate all chinese made electronics from any USA military use including phones. The issue is that any drone could be implanted to where it could be used to self serval USA sensitive targets through computers, phones, cameras or drones. Effectively putting spies in everyones pocket. Since that began a large increase in american made products has alrwady begun behind electronics sectors for that very reason. To basically remove Chinese electronics or any that could be tampered with. To be honest after china assaults Taiwan its pretty much game over for China and any hopes it has of being anything jut a backwayer nation.

When they get to the size of carrying munitions, THEN they are a real hazard. The thing all must think about is that there are already systems developed/being developed that bring down drones, including full swarms, by blocking/disrupting their signal. It already exists.

The U.S. has "abilities" that NO ONE knows about, or hears about, not even the Chinese. As I am very familiar with the current Chinse inventory of weapons, and their capabilities, some are no joke. But, even those are not a good match for what the U.S. has. As a full military contractor, and retired military, I am well aware of what they can do, and what they cannot do. China was, and is STILL, strong in the homeland, but weak out of their area. Their carriers are crap, and wouldn't last a single day. And, their subs are easily tracked and noisy. Their vaunted J20 fighter has NUMEROUS problems, including the engines, and their ability to project a fight is very small, as compared to the U.S. Do not fool yourself into thinking, even for a second, that the best U.S. weapons are "known". This help me understand China better. I’m from Malaysia. China has traded with Malaysia for 2000 years. In those years, they had been the world’s biggest powers many times. Never once they sent troops to take our land. Admiral Zheng He came to Malacca five times, in gigantic fleets, and a flagship eight times the size of Christopher Columbus’ flagship, Santa Maria. He could have seized Malacca easily, but he did not. In 1511, the Portuguese came. In 1642, the Dutch came. In the 18th century the British came. We were colonised by each, one after another. When China wanted spices from India, they traded with the Indians. When they wanted gems, they traded with the Persian. They didn’t take lands. The only time China expanded beyond their current borders was in Yuan Dynasty, when Genghis and his descendants Ogedei Khan, Guyuk Khan & Kublai Khan concurred China, Mid Asia and Eastern Europe. But Yuan Dynasty, although being based in China, was a part of the Mongolian Empire. Then came the Century of Humiliation. Britain smuggled opium into China to dope the population, a strategy to turn the trade deficit around, after the British could not find enough silver to pay the Qing Dynasty in their tea and porcelain trades. After the opium warehouses were burned down and ports were closed by the Chinese in ordered to curb opium, the British started the Opium War I, which China lost. Hong Kong was forced to be surrendered to the British in a peace talk (Nanjing Treaty). The British owned 90% of the opium market in China, during that time, Queen Victoria was the world’s biggest drug baron. The remaining 10% was owned by American merchants from Boston. Many of Boston’s institutions were built with profit from opium. After 12 years of Nanjing Treaty, the West started getting really really greedy. The British wanted the Qing government: 1. To open the borders of China to allow goods coming in and out freely, and tax free. 2. Make opium legal in China. Insane requests, Qing government said no. The British and French, with supports from the US and Russia from behind, started Opium War II with China, which again, China lost. The Anglo-French military raided the Summer Palace, and threatened to burn down the Imperial Palace, the Qing government was forced to pay with ports, free business zones, 300,000 kilograms of silver and Kowloon was taken. Since then, China’s resources flew out freely through these business zones and ports. In the subsequent amendment to the treaties, Chinese people were sold overseas to serve as labor. In 1900, China suffered attacks by the 8-National Alliance(Japan, Russia, Britain, France, USA, Germany, Italy, Austria-Hungary). Innocent Chinese civilians in Peking (Beijing now) were murdered, buildings were destroyed & women were raped. The Imperial Palace was raided, and treasures ended up in museums like the British Museum in London and the Louvre in Paris. In late 1930s China was occupied by the Japanese in WWII. Millions of Chinese died during the occupancy. 300,000 Chinese died in Nanjing Massacre alone. Mao brought China together again from the shambles. There were peace and unity for some time. But Mao’s later reign saw sufferings and deaths from famine and power struggles. Then came Deng Xiao Ping and his infamous “black-cat and white-cat” story. His preference in pragmatism than ideologies has transformed China. This thinking allowed China to evolve all the time to adapt to the actual needs in the country, instead of rigidly bounded to ideologies. It also signified the death of Communism in actually practice in China. The current Socialism+Meritocracy+Market Economy model fits the Chinese like gloves, and it propels the uprise of China. Singapore has a similar model, and has been arguably more successful than Hong Kong, because Hong Kong being gateway to China, was riding on the economic boom in China, while Singapore had no one to gain from. In just 30 years, the CPC have moved 800 millions of people out from poverty. The rate of growth is unprecedented in human history. They have built the biggest mobile network, by far the biggest high speed rail network in the world, and they have become a behemoth in infrastructure. They made a fishing village called Shenzhen into the world’s second largest technological centre after the Silicon Valley. They are growing into a technological power house. It has the most elaborate e-commerce and cashless payment system in the world. They have launched exploration to Mars. The Chinese are living a good life and China has become one of the safest countries in the world. The level of patriotism in the country has reached an unprecedented height. For all of the achievements, the West has nothing good to say about it. China suffers from intense anti-China propagandas from the West. Western Media used the keyword “Communist” to instil fear and hatred towards China. Everything China does is negatively reported. They claimed China used slave labor in making iPhones. The truth was, Apple was the most profitable company in the world, it took most of the profit, leave some to Foxconn (a Taiwanese company) and little to the labor. They claimed China was inhuman with one-child policy. At the same time, they accused China of polluting the earth with its huge population. The fact is the Chinese consume just 30% of energy per capita compared to the US. They claimed China underwent ethnic cleansing in Xinjiang. The fact is China has a policy which priorities ethnic minorities. For a long time, the ethnic minorities were allowed to have two children and the majority Han only allowed one. The minorities are allowed a lower score for university intakes. There are 39,000 mosque in China, and 2100 in the US. China has about 3 times more mosque per muslim than the US. When terrorist attacks happened in Xinjiang, China had two choices: 1. Re-educate the Uighur extremists before they turned terrorists. 2. Let them be, after they launch attacks and killed innocent people, bomb their homes. China chose 1 to solve problem from the root and not to do killing. How the US solve terrorism? Fire missiles from battleships, drop bombs from the sky. During the pandemic, When China took extreme measures to lockdown the people, they were accused of being inhuman. When China recovered swiftly because of the extreme measures, they were accused of lying about the actual numbers. When China’s cases became so low that they could provide medical support to other countries, they were accused of politically motivated. Western Media always have reasons to bash China. Just like any country, there are irresponsible individuals from China which do bad and dirty things, but the China government overall has done very well. But I hear this comment over and over by people from the West: I like Chinese people, but the CPC is evil. What they really want is the Chinese to change the government, because the current one is too good. Fortunately China is not a multi-party democratic country, otherwise the opposition party in China will be supported by notorious NGOs (Non-Government Organization) of the USA, like the NED (National Endowment for Democracy), to topple the ruling party. The US and the British couldn’t crack Mainland China, so they work on Hong Kong. Of all the ex-British colonial countries, only the Hong Kongers were offered BNOs by the British. Because the UK would like the Hong Kongers to think they are British citizens, not Chinese. A divide-and-conquer strategy, which they often used in Color Revolutions around the world. They resort to low dirty tricks like detaining Huawei’s CFO & banning Huawei. They raised a silly trade war which benefits no one. Trade deficit always exist between a developing and a developed country. USA is like a luxury car seller who ask a farmer: why am I always buying your vegetables and you haven’t bought any of my cars? When the Chinese were making socks for the world 30 years ago, the world let it be. But when Chinese started to make high technology products, like Huawei and DJI, it caused red-alert. Because when Western and Japanese products are equal to Chinese in technologies, they could never match the Chinese in prices. First world countries want China to continue in making socks. Instead of stepping up themselves, they want to pull China down. The recent movement by the US against China has a very important background. When Libya, Iran, and China decided to ditch the US dollar in oil trades, Gaddafi’s was killed by the US, Iran was being sanctioned by the US, and now it’s China’s turn. The US has been printing money out of nothing. The only reason why the US Dollar is still widely accepted, is because it’s the only currency which oil is allowed to be traded with. The US has an agreement with Saudi that oil must be traded in US dollar ONLY. Without the petrol-dollar status, the US dollars will sink, and America will fall. Therefore anyone trying to disobey this order will be eliminated. China will soon use a gold-backed crypto-currency, the alarms in the White House go off like mad. China’s achievement has been by hard work. Not buy looting the world. I have deep sympathy for China for all the suffering, but now I feel happy for them. China is not rising, they are going back to where they belong. Good luck China. -C L “Christopher Columbus didn’t discover anything, instead he just got lost” -Tasia Grzenia 🦄

The Cold War was started by the US and since 2000 China start to speed up their military air and sea development to protect their security. They are not flying all over the world unlike the US, about 1000 military bases all over the world, and the US and its allies are occupying the South China Sea and the Asian Pacific.

After hearsts runaway 18-wheeler flew over d road to hit my car head-on, hearsts men and insurance men came to disturb me and behaved aggressively, prompting Dr Parameswara to tell me tt I wld be killed after my discharge from d hospital. Alighting from d taxi in crutches, I was attacked. A month later, 2 Kkk became my neighbors and said: "we moved here from S Carolina and had already harmed many Asians. We will succeed in killing u one day." I soon discovered that they had brokened into my apt using master key a total of 3 times and added drugs/poison into my medication/drinks. Foiling them, they then started to terrorise me and wld come after midnight to punch my door while shouting profanities and threats to kill me. One day, after a whole night of punching, I found my door split into two. Worried, I told them tt I wld be graduating soon and wld return to Singapore to resume my job as a prison officer as I had taken unpaid leave to study in Houston and tt it wld be foolish to harm me as d police wld arrest them. They laughed and told me tt American police wld not help minorities and strangers as they were big and strong, supreme race , superpower who built up d USA, and although Christians like me, liked burning crosses and adored Hitler (and then saluted Hitler) and tt they were entitled to give me shit and show me no mercy as I had given trouble to America in meeting with an accident and moreover, I was alone, very weak, powerless and helpless and no one cld see what they did to me. Downcast, I walked away but felt a need to eavesdrop on them and then overheard them planning to put something into my petrol tank to break my neck in another accident. They expressed great hatred and anger tt my neck failed to break when hit by hearsts runaway 18-wheeler and said tt my neck shld break in another accident. (They ignored d fact tt other Americans cld die too if an accident shld take place). 2 nights later, I caught them prying my petrol tank and called d police. Nothing was done and they then pushed me down d staircase and tried punching me to death but only managed to break my face again as Jennifer, a 12 year old girl living across d street rushed out to call d police. They retreated on seeing Jennifer. Very quickly, 3 white policemen arrived but on seeing me tt I was an Asian, berated me for not cleaning up my bloodied face and then asked for d race. 2 policemen burst out laughing in great glee and joy when I told them tt it was white men and left without saying another word. Seeing tt they had failed to kill me secretly, America then changed its tactics to get me killed by d authorities as in d story of Patty Hearst, Daniel in d Bible and Jesus Christ. At d Harris County Court, a black giant Gestapo constable strangled and choked me and carried me into jail with one hand for no reason. D pain was excruciating and I thought tt AdolpAmerica had succeeded in breaking my neck as I cld not speak or breathe. Inside d jail, I was in great anguish thinking tt AdolpAmerica had kidnapped me to send me to the gas chamber like what they did to d 6 million Jews. Eventually, judge Alex Green brought me out but ignoring d CCTV, behaved like Hitler and instructed d constables to frame 3 false charges to lock me up again. Focused on studying, I won 3 competitive scholarships and graduated with triple honors and returned to Singapore to resume my job as a prison officer and lay pastor. I served God since d age of 15 years old and worked in prisons service to minister d Bible twice a day after work and ministered deliverance to demonised prisoners. D Holy Spirit rushed into me like a million volt of electricity when Dr Wesley Hurst prayed for me around 1978 and he also told me tt I was God's chosen one. Around 1980, at d St Andrews Cathedral, Singapore, d Hand of God like a flame and 3 balls of fire flowed into me in d presence of Bishop Chiu who acknowledged that I was chosen. My health succumbed to d great traumas/poisoning inflicted on me by America and I had to be medically retired. In 1989, I borrowed money to fly back to Houston to seek insurance claim. One day, before d trial, America used a pickup with giant wheels to press d back of my car which flew over 3 lanes but did not hit any other vehicles. I cld not imagine how many Americans wld have died if an accident took place. D next day, during d trial, d lawyer for Hearst falsely called me a Japanese-singaporean (Americans hated Japanese & Asians over Toyota) and tt I shld not be given justice as Hearst was their employer. D court returned d verdict tt it was my fault tt Hearst's 18-wheeler flew over and thus, I was not entitled to claim insurance. Jay Young, my ex-housemate and church friend then told me tt he was instructed to tell me tt I shld not tell others about what they did to me or America wld send assasins to singapore to kill me. Around d year 2005, several Tibetans tried to kill me. I saw in KZfaq tt America had trained 5000 Tibetans as CIA agents to deal with Asians. I had not offended America but they went to great lengths and effort to kill me. Is China not right in taking care to strengthen themselves. As for me, like David who was anointed king 3 times, I have been anointed thrice with d anointing of Called, Chosen and Faithful to become a heavenly king, Army of Heaven to strike down d evil nations - monsters great red dragons committing monstrous moral distortions - Rev 17 & 19. God d faithful one fulfills d prophecy of Psalms 18 to make me into David to turn d USA into dust (without weapon). USA fulfilled d prophecy of Obadiah to break d eternal covenant of brotherly love made with God thru d shed blood of Jesus Christ. D covenant requires d blood of Ephraim (USA & western nations of d cross) to be shed. It's d nature of blood covenant. To restore d covenant, turn from evil and heed Micah 6:8.

I think a problem people overlook with "drone swarms" is how big do you make the drones? If they are too small they will have no range or payload (how would you even get them near a carrier group in the first place) however if you make them big they become easy to detect and much more expensive. A human is 1000000x stronger than a single honey bee. A single bee flying around a human can be easily swatted/killed with that strength/superiority. That same human bumps into a hive, he becomes helpless to stop the swarm. Drones when used in this way could do the same thing, swarm a target. This would require self aware drones though, as any swarm controlled remotely has the ability to be jammed/blocked, but an aware drone needs no input.

While I agree that China is making large investments in drone technologies, you can't use that to say that they're leaving the West behind. The US has been flying stealth drones over hostile territories for years. The US has used Predators and Reapers to hunt down and take out high value targets for decades. There are a LOT of US drone programs that are still in the black world and it limits our ability to know how advanced we really are.

Today drones is far more than those old Predators class. The drones swarms for example are just scary to see how they can dance in mid air in perfect unison and so on using 5 G.

I think we have to distinguish between large military drones and smaller quad copters; The US no doubt leads in larger military drones which are much closer to a traditional jet engine planes. China might lead in smaller quad copter drones because of its extensive and cost effective electronic industry. Both types are very useful of course, the larger types have already demonstrated their value in past wars in the middle east, the smaller drones have demonstrated their value in the war in Ukraine, but they are two different types of systems that are difficult to directly compare.

Chinese naval drone strategy is probably made to weaponize their gigantic merchant and fishing fleets, currently estimated at 5,600 vessels and 17,000 vessels respectively. There is today about 50 Chinese merchant or fishing ships for ever US Navy ship, you can imagine the results of an all-out naval battle involving these fleets, a very small fraction of which could take on the US Navy...

@@SoloRenegade better hope so, because the US Navy doesn't have a stockpile of 23,000 Hellfires, they might have 5,000-10,000, most of which stored in large warehouses that could be taken out with a dozen hypersonic missiles. As well, these Chinese vessels will have drones armed with modern versions of Hellfires, they're not sitting (Peking) ducks... That's the main point of a potential mass drone fleet strategy.

didn't the US test their gravity bombs to target moving ships recently. Maybe it's a response to China's numerical superiority. Saving their more costly missile for much more higher value targets.

Sadly this channel grows more and more away from the "only facts tms." style to the clickbait channels with some random paper weapons which have titles like "us military terrified the new russian weapon bla bla bla". Why do you have started to fill your with "country vs country" statements which are completely speculative? I subbed this channel to watch pure facts ands statistics and talk about different air weapons and platforms. Speculation and comparison is fine when you do it objective, not some cringe fake scenarios. Thank you Edit. Good answer from millennium!

The engineering and technology based facts are steadily decreasing, while biased clickbait stuff is on the rise.. @both Nobody is on YT not to be seen. Enticing thumbnails and titles are, unfortunately, necessary because otherwise, YT ignores you. A title like "Overview of Chinese drone technology", would be appropriate but it would get 10% of the views. With no views, there is no point in having a channel. I like explaining things, and it makes no sense to explain to a tiny audience. Without the financial incentive that comes with the views, I couldn't sustain the channel expenses and the quality would fall back to 2019. I am not particularly proud of this but it is a necessity. Coming to the technology: a) I keep doing videos purely on technology (SVP-24, the tail design, J-20 vs F-22/35 stealth etc. just to mention the most recent) despite the fact that they are generally the less viewed, because I think they are important anyway b) Nothing in this video was particularly speculative, there are sources I am using: become a member or a Patreon and you will see that each video comes with a post with all the main sources. c) I try being balanced and this is somehow a grave sin to the eyes of those who believe that USA is number one and it simply can't be that anyone else is doing anything comparable. That's ok. If they are happy like this I am not going to change their mind (and they are not the only fanboys who have this attitude). d) If I look at my list now, I have stuff like explaining the Mach angle, Western Chips in Russian weapons, a MIG-31 Run Through, The debate about the new French carriers, a NASAMS run through etc. Nothing particularly speculative.

$200 drones would be cheaper than a DJI. What kind of range would they have? Speed? Payload? I'm not saying that kamikaze drone would not be cheap or effectivelily. But for a $200 kamikaze drone to do anything besides drop a grenade on a soldier seems to be gilding the lily.
