So far 200 Million Dollars were spent to build trails and infrastructures for Mountain Biking around Arkansas by the Walton Foundation (Walmart).

@@Laurieh850 Did quite a few dig days with a group called singletraction (I think) up at Wharny on Fast Track. We changed the entrance to a steep rock roll to the left as you looked down the trail, put in the launch off to the right and then the kind of step down into the Gulley to the left, made the whole next rock garden section rideable before building a mound of rocks onto a Boulder off to the right of the main, old track just before it opened into the lower section of the hill under the pylons. Heavy work with all those rocks! Can’t remember any of the names of the other guys who organised the digs though… 😔 Also it’s been about ten years since I was last up there so it is probably all different now anyway.

Dude they have a solid rock road gap step down and my favorite: a take off, a flat Lilly pad and a landing made from 3 massive slabs. Each part of the feature is mase from its own massive rock slab. Absolutely ludicrous?

KILLER VIDEO! Remy, I've been watching your videos since you started making them. When I heard you were coming, I KNEW that there wasn't anything here to challenge you. We were all joking that they would take you to DH7 at Lake Leatherwood, or possibly the first gap-to-rock lander at "Redrum" at Centennial, and you would say, "OK, where are the big features?" after looking at them. LOL People need to keep it in perspective that everything here is pretty new...within the last 5-7 years. Downhill 2 at Lake Leatherwood was rougher, the drop was taller, and it was the ORIGINAL and ONLY downhill trail we had with any features, and that's where all of the Arkansas DH races were held. So we don't have anywhere NEAR the experienced riders that you have in the Squamish area, so if the builders had built radical features like what you have, no one would ride them. They would just fall apart and be unridden. We're still very new as a mountain biking destination. People dog on our area, and I think it's mostly because of the "self-proclamation, but our locals had nothing to do with that. I wish the naysayers would at least keep that in mind, along with the fact that the abundance of mountain bikers are of average skill level, and never aspire to these types of risk. You can't build trails for tourism that cater only to advanced double black diamond riders, and expect many tourists...it's a very narrow market. You have to have an abundance of intermediate-level trails, and then add the more difficult trails over time. I appreciate how you've stuck up for our area with your comments, and although I don't think it challenged you, it did at least sound like you and Ryan had fun and enjoyed your visit. Thanks for making the killer video of our area, and for all the ones you've made over the years.

@@hambo76 ... Truth. "I want to go climb 4K feet, and then descend 4K feet." Don't come to Arkansas then...or if you do, be prepared to climb 200, ride one trail back down...climb the 200 again and ride a different trail down...lather, rinse repeat. We have more than that in some places with a few hours drive from Bentonville, but that "hub" design with multiple runs is really what the terrain allows for, and I think the builders have done well with what's available...for the most part.

The fact that you brought up the ticks just bought a huge smile to my face. They are hardly an issue here in the PNW, but back east (where I'm originally from) they are obnoxious. Just step your foot down briefly in a little bit of vegetation and you got at least one on you. That looks like a much better area than right in Bentonville.

I live in Northerst Arkansas. In Fayetteville, but grew up in Bentonville and Rogers. I remember before these trails became a thing. It is amazing to see how much they’re doing for the community and MTB itself. And don’t get it twisted, there is absolutely lots of gnar in Bville. There’s also a ton of intermediate and beginner trails because it’s a tourist destination. People that don’t know how to ride gnar can come here and have an absolute blast for a week and never ride all that our area has to offer. Bella vista has sweet trails. Eureka springs has a ton of hardcore riding spots. It may not be Whistler big but it’s still Garkansas! Also it’s a lot of fun to have places that are chill and flowy but still be able to rip a session the next trail over. If you live here it’s a lot cooler than just visiting. People ride these trails on their way to work and back 😂 or on the way to pick up a gallon of milk. Pretty sick.

Those jumps in real life must look at lot bigger then in video. In video that didn't seem like much of a drop but you guys saying it's 7 feet and I can see how way he's standing and drop is taller then him that it must be accurate. It's just the video doesn't do it justic. I imagine if i was there in person that drop would like far scarier. I wish I had access to these types of trials when I was younger. sadly none of this existed to my knowledge. at least not in area's i was raised in. I wish I was born and raised in an area where mountain biking was more common. I could see myself doing this. I actually almost got into bmx riding as a kid but my parents had no time to take me so i only got to go to a local bmx track a handful of times only.
