Next time you play Outward head over to the desert town of Levant and pick up a cannon pistol, shatter Shot from the Mercenary Trainer,
and Opportunist Stab from Styx in the slums. Load the cannon pistol up with shatter shot. It only requires iron scraps instead of
bullets and will inflict pain and confusion in one shot. Next, pull out any dagger and use opportunist stab. Not only will the gun
stagger most enemies, but the pain and confusion give the stab much more damage. This is crazy good in solo play if you want to
swap off-hand weapons constantly. Since that isn't really ideal, you might want to try it in coop if you get the chance. One person
shoots and the other stabs. You would have so much stagger potential with this and it's an easy way to debuff opponents before they
do anything at all. Off-hand weapons really do have so much potential.
Outward is an RPG/survival game that allows you take to make an almost infinite number of builds. Melee, magic, archery, and even traps are scattered across this harsh world in the form of skills. You must have a large amount of money to purchase these skills, but luckily the monsters drop extremely valuable items. The game has been harshly criticized due to how realistic and difficult it is.
