I love the mindset that sometimes using a smartphone to capture content can actually be the best tool for the job. I never thought about how using a phone could help you capture more authentic moments

They can be looked down on because they're not as high quality as "dedicated cameras," but the story is so much more important than the gear. Thanks for sharing and helping to illustrate that!

Love this upload. "Quality paralysis". Boy, that phrase hit me hard. Really hard. It has been a problem for me for so long, for too long. I've started and stopped more interests and hobbies then I care to recount. But it is starting to abate as I work out the "why" I want to do something. Am I wanting to get glory for me or God in what I am doing. Am I trying to please God or man? And does what I am doing promote the gospel and Christlikenss. I do believe quality is important. It was important to God as He raised and equiped men to build His temple and the priestly clothes so it should be to me also. This video is providentially tying in with a thesis I just read from a brother in the Lord titled Ministry or Marketing. I am not sure what God is going to do but I am excited to up my video/audio skills and pursue His purposes with them.

I love everything about this comment! Quality paralysis is what held me back from starting this channel for so long. I wanted to do it perfectly and make sure I had everything all planned out, but then I realized that it was better to start and make mistakes along the way! But just like you, the why is what pushed me into action. I want to equip people to tell better stories, and I had missionaries and non-profits in mind as the group I wanted to see most benefit from it, so I'm so glad to hear how it's connected with you.
