This Cut Brings Gold | Beach Metal Detecting
The slow week heated up when we metal detected this beach. The harsh swells pulled a lot of sand of the beaches in conjunction with the low tides it provided the perfect opportunity to pluck some gold. Amy found the oldest one dollar coin to date.

Equipment:
Minelab Equinox 900, Nokta Accupoint Pinpointer, CKG Carbon Fiber Shaft & CKG Scoop, Nokta Legend, Garret Pinpointer
Minelab Equinox 900 Settings:
Beach Mode 1 & 2
Recovery Speed 5
Iron Bias 4
Sensitivity 21-23
Ground Tracking On
All Metal Mode
5 Tones
Legend Settings:
Mode: Beach mode Multi Dry (MD)
Recovery speed : 5-7 (depends how trashy the beach is)
Iron Filter: 4
Stability : 1
Ground Suppressor (GS): 0 (off)
BC (bottle cap rejection): 6
Audio Gain: 1 (anything higher on the beach the machine becomes really chatty)
Tones: Ptones
Tone Volume: Max (10) on all 1-60
Tone Frequency Notches 1-10: 1 (makes the 1-10 iron signals a deep grunt)
Tone Frequency Notches 11-60: 27
Tone Break: Default 1-10 Iron, 11-60 normal tones
Threshold: Default
Threshold Frequency: Default
Sensitivity: will vary but from 23-28 depending on the beach
Mode: Beach mode Multi Wet (MW)
Recovery speed : 5-6
Iron Filter: 4

My scoop broke around a year ago and I got a CKG message saying sorry that our product broke from improper use ya that sucked they are not cheap thanks CKG, so I have been using my trusty shovel from Harbor Freight .

Congrats on the gold and Susan B. Anthony dollar coin. Every dollar and half dollar coin I’ve found or gotten back in change, in my whole life, I’ve kept. I never have spent any of those before, and I’m 54 years old now. Even the modern presidential and Sacagawea dollars. I don’t know how many I have accumulated, but for some reason, I never could spend them.

Nice hunt, really enjoying your videos, nice finds. Those CKG scoops are good but definitely not as strong as they need to be. It's great for travel, but definitely not an everyday driver. Xtreme Scoops is definitely a "buy once, cry once," type of scoop. Expensive but 100% worth it. We've had ours for about 3 years now and have absolutely tortured it without it failing.

Nice hunt!! Forget those junk CKG scoops! I had one that didnt last but a few months? 😡 Buy a T-Rex!! You will never break those!!! I on the 9in for water hunting and the lighter 8in for wet and dry sand!! 👍👍👍

The next time you go to the -19 hit the plus button and your not Notching Out anything but just raising the tone break. But if you do hit the Accept and Reject Function button then you are Notching out the targets.....
