Reusing assets isn’t bad. Tons of games, especially old games did it and people enjoy those games. Mainly sequels to games. Not saying this doesn’t damage the game to the general DB audience, but if even this games enjoyers find the games quality complicated I think we have bigger problems. For a game that SHOULD be getting updated regularly it makes sense to reuse some assets. Especially IF you put new content every season. It’s only a problem when you reuse a ton of assets that are already in the game. With no NEW content. I’m trying really hard here not to spell it out. Update and release schedule wise. This game blows. Won’t even get started on the balancing. On paper this was a great idea. Using the time patrollers and xenoverse world for this game was a choice that makes sense surface level wise. The story isn’t that deep but most live service games tend not to be. As for the actual game fortunately it turned out to be a different charming, all be it clunky db game. As seasons went on a lot of that charm stagnated and some went away.

@@sargentflippy9941 the breakers models aren’t the best (which means neither are xenoverse if it’s built on it.). The shaders could make it look better or worse depending who you ask. The thing is though, this game is 20 bucks and people argue it should be free. It’s clunky but most games this cheap don’t look the best. This game also isn’t a normal fighting game, it’s a horror game gimmick. Which I think is fun enough even if it doesn’t play the best. I think they should focus on the gameplay more than the graphics, seeing this season though I bet you can guess my current thoughts.

@@sargentflippy9941 I will say it was pretty fun the first 3 seasons. In season 6 (this season) they changed a lot of the system mechanics and theirs a lack of content this season. Like a new map, the “battle pass” skin that gives skills, and more. People don’t like it. I think this game was pretty fun, but I can see why every DB fan wouldn’t like it gameplay wise. This season even the fans aren’t liking the games that much. This game has always had bad balancing issues, but this season has it the worst. It’s always one side being stronger than the other. This game is a 7 vs 1 game (Survivors vs Raider). Most seasons it’s the 7 much stronger than the 1 (by the 7 I mean it only took 2-4 of them to woop the 1). This season the 1 is much stronger than the 7 unless those 7 run meta and are super sweaty.

Season 7 is 100% the last season before the game dies. And probably just the last season in general.

@@gamercentral2417 it's bandai namco were talking about here, so I imagine we'll get one last season, everyone will stop summoning, and the game will be shut down within 5 months of the last season

Yeah especially since they quite literally neutered survivors, their rolls when not transformed now don't have s and their transformed dodges don't have frames except for the one that's more like a Z-Vanish, which they increased the cooldown on it to be like 5 seconds between each one, all while buffing raiders giving them an instant descent and even giving some of the raiders buffs to their hp or their attacks

@@Runnitmove yeah, and a lot of people don't like that they're trying to be different from the normal fighter games, I'm glad they're trying to do different from the standard pvp or pve games that dbz usually has
