I absolutely love a trade... particularly when it's for things to add to your personal collection!
the deal took me to bridgend so I hit the charity shops there too and found some bits to resell on ebay.
I'll also take you through what sold on ebay this week

I would only buy signed books in MINT CONDITION as that’s what ‘the right buyer’ will be looking for. I know someone who collects modern first editions (not necessarily signed) and the market is insane. You’ll get first editions with multiple different covers.

Still got to be value even if not mint. Obvs the collectors will pay top dollar for prestine but surely for entry collectors they'll want something a bit cheaper

Another awesome video again Ian what amazing pickups and trade your boy is definitely picking up the perks and good find on that transformer I wouldn't had a clue and probably wouldn't have bothered trying to search for the missing pieces, Great sales mate and I'm really forward to travel together next Wednesday 👍 I'll hopefully should be able to get a video out for this week might pop someplace don't know if I'll find anything but you can never know. 😎✌

That game compilation with gunstar is an epic find. Not sure if you remember but we used to have a PC CD rom which used to have altered beast & flicky on it (along with vector man, comix zone etc), so you've actually hit 3 birds with one stone there

Dunno where your going with that. I don't like the phrase 'part time ebay reseller' but it's the recognised name on KZfaq for those who have a full time job and supplement with ebay. I've got an accountant that sorts out my taxes and that includes ebay and youtube

Adding to this, and I've not looked into it. However surely there are serious issues within 'business' tax if what you are selling are 2nd hand goods where the VAT has already been paid when originally sold. If anything there should be tax relief in your full time job as you're doing a service saving items from potential landfill.

@@garden4ork this doesn’t make any sense 🫤 The tax relief should go to the people who donate the items to charity in the first place, instead of chucking them in the bin. Which sort of happens if you ‘gift aid’ the donations. The tax relief goes to the charity, but by law (and you’d have to pretty hard faced to do it) you can demand it back from the charity.

Just some info for you on the air max which you hated. The colourway is called either Watermelons or the South Beach. It is actually a very desired colourway. This colourway got me into sneaker collecting.

Research the players that people are buying and see if you have them in your sets. Use ebay solds to see if they're worth grading

I collect signed books only sports ones or authors I read ,got 8 or 9 of the 1966 world Cup signed books ,plus a Pele signed book ,I was working in London and saw je was doing a book signing ,plus even ozzy Osborne bio lol 😂
