Quick tip with backpack space rearrangement: You can use the arrow keys to shift your entire bag a single space in any direction, avoiding the exact annoyance you mention in the video. I don't think they tell you how to do it anywhere in the game, I just noticed a streamer doing it once and found it myself.

backpack hero with fancy art and pvp at it's core. It's gonna need more than that to stand out from the crowd of clones and other originals. Like any game, hope it gets that uniqueness

Nice, I already had it in my wishlist but didn't realize that it was a PvP game. It kind of detracts me from the experience considering how meta-oriented people can be, but I'll give it a try regardless. Edit: Tried it, the gameplay is great!

0:27 yeah chief you lost me already with the aprochable Super auto pets gameplay i couldnt have figured out what does what and how was where and what was when, but my brain might have been hit by a brick one to many time, but the artstyle of backpack battles looks so close to many of the early 2000s online browsers games that i was interested to hear more anyway, now thank you for listening to my rambling that barely makes sence

For me, the most satisfying part of the game was seeing it get better and better. The game at launch was promising, but frankly, not very good. But with the new systems, rank mode, survival, and especially the weekly items, its become one of my favorite games

Oh wait, thats literally PvP Backpack Hero, ofc Spike builds and Poison Builds are very powerful, they're literally the easiest way you can beat the original inspiration for this game past floor 2 without mods (you'd be shocked how many KZfaqrs secretly have them) or gimmicks. Not to sound like I'm talking down on this game for effectively ripping off Backpack hero, it's a very fun system and I'd love to see more types of games using that mechanic, maybe even a full on DnD/Pathfinder style game where inventory is actually important during combat rather than an "Number of weight counter". But the makers of this demo will have to realize that their source of inspiration is HORRIBLE for their game and especially for PvP, Backpack Hero can get away with having unbalanced or downright unfair designs and mechanics since it's a solo dungeon crawler where you can go for over 100 rounds and only get 3 god runs and 20 finished runs, but for a game designed to be against players, people who can play just as unfairly and easily get access to builds that have no counter as a game designer you'll have to put so much extra effort to make those builds not achievable or give them built in weaknesses to other builds. In backpack Hero, having more than 1 build can be a death sentence, in backpack battler having more than 2 builds in one run should be obligated to keep the game fair.
