Looks like a fun project. I would use a 2xCR2032 battery holder instead of welding the strips of metal for easier battery changes. Maybe go crazy and use a Lithium battery gel pack with a TP4096 charger. I guess it depends on how much money you got or how much spare parts you have laying around.

Yes, I used 2032 because I did not have a suitable size 3.7 battery, but it would be better with a 4056 and lion battery.

Here's a cool idea, the cassette player rotates the motors which are supposed to rotate the tape in the cassette, so now we're wasting electricity and potential on that as there's nothing to rotate, so what if we made a little generator inside the tape case to power the bluetooth module, so we don't need to use batteries? or we can have it used as battery charger.

@@cuh33 Вот именно, но разбирать магнитофон только для того, чтобы отключить моторы - это лишняя работа, и подходит разве что тем, кто разбирается в электронике. К тому же, если уж использовать кассету, то хочется, чтобы устройство было портативным, ведь его, скорее всего, захочется брать с собой в другие машины или к друзьям. Да и про плееры Walkman и домашние магнитофоны не забываем. А что если встроить в корпус кассеты небольшой генератор для питания Bluetooth-модуля? Тогда не нужны будут батарейки. Можно даже сделать его зарядным устройством для телефона. Он мог бы работать по тому же принципу, что и динамо-машина на велосипеде.

It's really amazing. You make me remember me one of my +20 years old project. The idea 💡 I had is when the Tape get somehow obsolete I had the idea to make it run MP3 using the same Head against Head to transfer the sound from the MP3 Memory Card to Tape record/Player. Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I had a manufactured tape adapter that had a 3mm aux jack lead that ran out of the side of the cassette case so you could just plug in whatever you wanted. It was made for cars so it also had the power lead coming out of the same side and plugged into the old cigarette lighter adapter.

I had thought about how to make something much like this, but for 8-Track players. Then if you have a vintage 70's car with the appropriate period-correct 8-Track deck, you can still play modern music through it. You could also include an SD-card reader in it too.

makara dönemeyince kaseti durdurur 😁 bu şekilde teybe bi engeli olmaz abicim. Kaldı ki piyasada zaten böyle cihazlar satılıyordu. bt değilde 3.5mm jaklı şeklinde. bir ikincisi ben teybin kristalinden iki kablo çıkarıp 3.5mm jaka bağlamıştım ve mp3çalarla 1 hafta denizde kullanmıştık. Bu olay daha pratik bişey olmuş. Tek sorunu pilin bitmesi olur sadece.

of course you could just buy a 3.5mm jack to cassette adapter and use that directly plugging into phone or any mp3 player or separate bluetooth receiver if your phone lacks 3.5mm headphone socket.

if cassette player has auto-stop feature, it will auto-stop after a few seconds. To prevent this, must keep the spools of the cassette, and connect them together with a short loop so that the second spool rotates when first spool is driven by motor. Auto-stop will engage when second spool is still/stuck

Auto stop will only function when the tape becomes tight as when the tape ends and the spools have stopped , If there are no spools or tape it will work continuously until you switch it off !

I like your design better than mine , so simple! If the tape can be inserted the other side, then the pilot lamp will be visible through the load port and the BlueTooth antenna out of the shielded depths. sheet metal enclosure which presents as Faraday Cage.

Teddy Ruxpin remote control - red channel voice - White Channel signal is 4 servo control bands of control via Pulse Code Modulated from a broken Radio Control whose transmitter quit. Works great on original Ruxpins and looks like I'm flying a toy plane to make Teddy talk!

This will not work in all tape players. Mechanism couldnt detect tape rotation

Tape was pretty brain dead. This device emulates a series of like-minded devices companies manufactured to allow newer features to be used in tape systems for years, even before tape faded away. I never encountered anything that wouldn't accept them. I can't think of any reason someone would have engineered a tape system that wouldn't accept this. My guess is, if there is a tape drive system out there that couldn't work with this it would be so rare and expensive as to be negligible. This idea goes all the way back to adapters for early wire recording systems and pre-cassette tape devices. It's nothing extraordinary. The fact you can repurpose a cassette case yourself (for cheap) kind of is.

What you could do is remove all the magnetic tape from the two reels and re-insert them inside the cassette shell with a small flat elastic band connecting them together so that the take up reel turns the supply wheel. I think that would satisfy any tape rotation detection system.

Typically it's the auto-reverse type decks that would have a problem with not detecting enough tension on the capstans. I had a deck like that in a car once owned. The factory auto-reverse would keep trying to "flip" the tape. RadioShack came out with a modified cassette adapter to ⅛" plug that would fool the auto-reverse mechanism so it would keep playing.

Не проще было блютуз модуль подключить к головке самой магнитоле? А проще и вообще не заморачиваться сделать тоже самое только в кассету где головку магнитную он поставил, воткнуть туда динамик от наушников, а провод как раз подключить к телефону, и не надо будет батарейки менять плату покупать поять ее и тд.

Идея отличная, но почему бы не поставить аккумуляторы и контроллер заряда вместо пары 2032. Это ж каждый раз разобрать, сварить новую пару батареек, припаять... Ну, или, хотя бы, поставить гнёзда для быстрой смены батареек, выдрав их из старых материнских плат.

That scheme obviously works, but I prefer the old low tech method of a tape adapter that has a wire coming out that plugs into the headphone jack. It also works with CD players.

Pratik güzel ve hoş bir cihaz olmuş emeğine sağlık. Ancak cihazın çok fazla kusuru var. Pil bitmesi, kullanılan aletlerin ve cihazın ve diğer parçaların her evde bulunmaması vb. gibi. Bunlar hali hazırda varsa o zaman çok uygun ama sırf kasetim var diye ya da oto teybim var diye bu işe girişmek yerine gidip uygun bir bluetooth hoparlör almak daha mantıklı geldi. Ayrıca o eski hoparlörden de ne kadar kaliteli ses alırsınız orası ayrı bir konu.

How exactly would this work when the audio on a cassette tape was placed into the magnetic strip? No magnetic strip means no sound coming from the cassette, right,?

You're better off that way, unless you have a very good car stereo that plays tapes and doesn't have an Aux port. There were some very nice Sony and Pioneer cassette car stereos, but the nicest ones had full auto-stop, which means this wouldn't work because the deck would "think" the tape is stuck and it would turn off the play operation.

Some tape machines (last models, with logic control and iR detectors of limit of film, detectors of rotation bobbins) may be cannot play this, you must insert back the two film rotators (spindle twins) and detach the film from them. Я надеюсь правильно объяснил?

если ты имеешь паяльник, точечную сварку, магнитофонную головку , модуль блютуз и умеешь всем этим правильно воспользоваться, то ты просто обязан уметь соорудить линейный вход на магнитолу! Вместо того, чтобы с головки на головку передавать сигнал с жуткими искажениями и недешевые батарейки тратить!

You can buy one for less than $20 US. Most people don't have all the parts laying around and if you have to source them it will cost you a minimum of $30 US to make your own.

Я уже очень давно припаял шнур с 3,5 мм штекером к материнской плате обычного кассетника на левый и правый канал соотвественно. Включаю музло на телефоне, штеккер в разъем для наушников и вуаля, вся музыка в кассетнике играет как усилитель и воспроизводитель. Надо просто найти правильное место на плате куда впаять шнур. Вот и все.

Колхозинг, без точного позиционирования головки в кассете с головкой магнитофона и без корректирующих цепей от БТ приемника до передающей головки, звук будет не пойми какой. Делали такие поделки после в 2000-х, только вместо БТ тогда использовали CD-проигрыватели. 😊

Эй сделай часы чтобы левое колесо были минутой а правое часовой а плёнка секундой по кругу и такиежэ на руку есть малиньких плёнки для магнитофон ов диктофон ов и к ним с боку переделать ремешок кожэный и туда в ставить мехонизм будет очень круто 🎉

are you relying on CR2032 internal resistance to drop the 6 to 7volts a pair in series produces to drop the voltage to the Bluetooth receiver 5V requirement and not fry it?

انها الطريقة الاصعب لتعديل الكاسيت ليعمل بالبلوتوث.. يمكن وضع نفس القطعة الخاصة بالبلوتوث داخل الكاسيت وتشغيلها بالجهد المناسب مباشرة 😅

Es drehen sich bei diesem Vorschlag keine Spulen. Der Cassettenrecorder wird sich darum mach einigen Sekunden selbsttätig ausschalten. Es ist mir kein Recorder bekannt, der das anders macht. Falls jemand einen solchen Recorder kennt: bitte schreiben Sie hier auf, welcher Recorder das ist. Danke dafür.
