There are so many more great roads around the area. Next time y’all come down you need to do the Cherohala Skyway. It’s longer and more straights and long open sweepers and the views are amazing. Less crowded than TOD also.

PITS is hands down the best Mustang event, so much more relaxed then MW. The only real down side is that the traffic is often horrible on main roads but if you take the back roads everywhere you will get a great driving experience every time.

Hey brother the road in NC you were referring to is about 30min outside of Asheville called The Rattler, otherwise known as NC209, and it goes right past my house. It's chill most of the time with both windy bits and also long straight passing sections as well to fully send it. It'd be great for you boys to come out and we can run that sometime!

Awesome video man… you are the cop magnet today! I’ve driven that road 36 miles in North Carolina. If it’s the one that’s near Hendersonville, North Carolina, heading back W towards Franklin NC on Hwy 64. It’s a fun road and there’s waterfalls…You can pull over and check out, all along the area! I’ve ridden a horse, you can do it brother!

I think that’s a good route to take for the cars. You can keep Maverick as the fun street car with a manual, while Blucifer can be your “drag” car.

I'm still more of a fan of mustang week, mainly because im a big fan of the beach location and all the after hours stuff that goes on during MW, but i do 100% agree that the MW heat is ridiculous and makes some of the daytime meets barely tolerable. Also pits has the convention center which mw cant do anymore. Either way I love both events and will always try to make it to both of them.

Speaking from experience as a guy who has been doing cars and racing for 25 years do not try to turn Blucifer into a race car as a manual. You will regret it and probably have a bad time doing it. Manuals are just not great for drag racing. They break parts and you will not go as fast as you want to. A built 6R80 would be the way to go then you can have your M6 car and the fast drag auto car, best of both worlds. Also I am close to you near Richmond and I have an ESS on my car and I have done oil pump gears so if you need a hand doing either of those on your car let me know. Id be up for giving you a hand doing them both.
