Very good advice. Unfortunately, most of the guys that need this advice don't want to hear it.

Frankly, any younger woman going with an older foreigner are all playing the long game. If all other things are equal, a young Filipina marries a young Filipino. That is natural...but things are not equal. So the young woman looks for money and support, and the old foreigner looks for sex and companionship. It is more of a business deal, not really based upon 'more equal environment or natural' love. And yes, many of these girls are pretty and smart enough to juggle many foreigners in an on-line LTR. It is their culture. They see themselves 1st as supporting the family. Look at the bright side, in Columbia, young women are slipping a sedative into your drink, or bring you to a 'trap house' where men pop out and hold you at gunpoint. In the Philippines, your heart and bank account breaks, in Columbia, your life breaks.

As soon as money is brought up, they get blocked. Don't even read or care about the story.

Im married to a Filipina for 22 years now. But before l met my wife, l wrote to 12 different ladies, sort of playing them at their own game. Then l found about 3 or 4 scammers, but the rest were honest girls looking for love. Then l narrowed the field down to two girls, then l went over there and eventually married. My advice then, take it slow before you go and correspond with many over time before going over there and l sure you will pick the right one for you. A scammer always slips up over time.

The cure against those playing the long gaming is understanding that there is NO SUCH THING AS A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP. There's no relationship when one person does all the receiving while the other does all the giving.

There are many feel good vlogs out there about Filipinas. The word is getting out now, because too many men are getting burned.

Man you nailed it ❤. Every girl you talk to on dating app they come out straight and ask you for money for data. They mastered the scam game they become so good at it. Be straight up and tell them you are not an ATM 🏧. No bullshit. In America you would not do that, why give them money. Great video 🤙🏽

Like you said, very common. Almost every single guy I know of that had anything to do with a filipina ended up regretting it. One guy I knew back in Malaysia had his filipina wife take every penny he had and took the kids back to the Philippines and sold them to an adoption agency.

I lost a large portion of my inheritance to a scam here, $15k. The love bombing in chat was the most enthusiastic i ever saw...instant "friends." She had some investment called KAPA Ministry in General Santos City thatveas supposed to pay off big. I tried a small one and it did indeed pay. Then i went for the large one and the Philippines SEC siezed assets of KAPA. But... Even after she said she was very poor...about a year later she was posting her son graduated Chef School in Boracay. Turns out she never never sent the large money in, but used it to pay for her sons education. She wanted to cease chatting after she got that money 700k pesos. Claims the SEC got it but there was no proof she ever sent it in and she closed her BDO bank account soon after. She never offered to pay 1 peso back. She was poor but could send a son to an elite cooking school in Boracay? Never again. The bridge of trust has been burned! Her statement after i sent the money was "thanks for the trust." NEVER AGAIN

I met a Filipina on line and 2 months later met her. She has never asked me for money and she has great spending habits. She always looks for deals and shops in places that are inexpensive (by Filipina standards). I consider myself lucky to have such a quality young lady in my life.

Sometimes I think young guys would be better off to just get a dog. They have delusions thinking a traditional wife believes in equality. Your problem is that you don't have enough money and aren't working. You can change yourself easier than changing someone else.

Hi Chad, I'm 72 years old and first enjoyed the Filipina experience back in 1972 when I was in the Navy. I was in the Philippines approx 50 times until 1992. Seems the girls back then had the upper edge even more because, initially, all interactions were done in person. With the internet and social media it just gives them the ability to cast a wider net but that's just a "strength in numbers" approach. Imagine sitting in a bar with a few San Miguel's after a month at sea..... you get the picture. They really had the upper edge the. Keep up the great work, love your videos. Ed

Some of these scammers even do this to their relatives. Stuff like they are sick, and need the money immediately for treatment. They will pay them back, blah, blah, blah. Unless, there is any definite proof, don't fall for it.

One problem is that even when you meet a friendly Filipina, she often asks you for cash right away, even after 5 min, and sometimes a lot of cash. It's totally shameless and a big turn off.

the "good ones" as in the WORST ones. they may even ask for money, then ghost the guy for a few days and later explain it by saying how bad things really got for her and/or her family. that is the LONGEST game.

The main problem as I see it is middle aged guys (and older) imagining that these attractive young girls are likely to be genuinely attracted to them in the first place... Sadly, the attraction is likely to be self serving, and no basis for a proper relationship.

I have experienced the lomg gamer. Be aware. A lot are in Facebook groups as well. Never give anyone anything. Everyone has a sob story.

Most on FC will eventually ask for money. Some right up front, some play the long game, like chad says.

I call these the silver diggers. We all know the dangers of the gold digger/ they are pretty much as advertised. Silver diggers, however, want to bleed you dry too just nickle and dime you/ pretend its about love while being a parasite. Definitely long game all the while you thinking you have something real. Watch out for silver diggers gentlemen.

Solid coverage on this topic and totally experienced this FIRST HAND. In hindsight, you will have a gut feeling, but the risk is that you ignore it because the amount of money seems small, but week after week, the excuses for suppport requests just keep on coming. Phils and Thai dating sites are only worth the trouble to set up meetings when you're about 2 weeks out of arriving there for routine holidays. No money happens until your Boots are on the ground, then you rent them and pay for their time, 0vernight the longest and then refer to your " Next listing". If you live there keep changing girlfriends.

You're better off just paying for 'favors' directly and have them leave, than go thru all their manufactured drama and BS. Complement her on her beauty, if appropriate, and remind her that there is no pay to play deal, where nothing is offered in exchange--or point and say, "Oh, I think there's a money tree over there..." Then Skedaddle. :P

Many guys go after a 9 or 10 that's 25 years oe more younger than themselves. My wife to be who I met online in 2015 is just 12 years younger and just wanted a relationship after losing her husband at 42 y.o. She has a house and car. I pay utilities and xtra food for her live in Auntie and our meds and household needs. She was upfront about everything. I have no regrets other than she has 3 dogs too many and the neighborhood is noisy with them and roosters! lol

At the end of the day it's your money and up to you how you choose to spend it. Romance Scams are commonplace all over the world and it's not just men who are the targets. I'd consider on line interaction with someone I've never met a 'friendship' rather than a relationship. The signs of a potential scam are there to see if you choose to see them. One thing that makes s scammes stand out is 'greed' the more you give the more they ask for. But as I stated earlier. Your money up to you how you spend it.

A true girl will not ask money period and I speak from personal experience here in the Philippines. P.S. problem is many expats spoiling them and do send, give them money by which they are buying their relationship and I know some who are giving 20-30k allowance.

Finding a partner is not easy. Finding one that's compatible is not easy. Men in general and women for that matter need to learn from their past relationships. You can't keep carrying that relationship baggage, that goes for both men and women. Being sober for over 36 years I have done lots of personal work on myself and dealing with my past and my addictions. Getting to a point of where I was comfortable enough and knowing I was ready to meet a good woman. Knowing what I wanted in a woman having learned from my previous mistakes has worked well for me. I get sick of hearing guys say that they have been with their Filipina for 2 years now and she has never asked for money. That means absolutely NOTHING! ..........wait till 14 years and then tell me if she aint asked for money. They ALL (every one) play the "long game" ....they WILL get you in the end.

That's true some people are gamers they will only make themselves pity so that the foreigner will trust them and give money. Always be wise and observe well the behaviour of people wherever they are from. To find true love is you choose also wisely. Genuine people are rare to find. But you will know the true intentions of people just be careful and make a good observation.

Great video and information. I personally, would not consider going on a dating site to meet someone. I prefer to travel to the country in person and go from there. There are so many variables in a person’s mindset and personality that you can’t see in a video chat, pictures or phone calls. I would not communicate with a person until I am there in person and then just go out, meet people, and get a feel of the place and the people there. Just my $.02. Take care and stay safe out there.

Filipina here, yes what you say is true it applies but not to all Filipina ladies. Just be aware of those dramas and cuteness they portray don't fall for it. Vet very well if you want a serious relationship. Be smart.

The times I've tried in DIA it was a terrible mess. I've never been taken advantage of, but precisely because I was spotting them at sight, that's the reason I don't think it's even worth trying online dating. Not even in the Phils.

DON'T date online! There is no such thing as online dating!! Real dating only takes place IN PERSON!!! Anything else is pure fantasy. And be advised that both the short game and the long game are also played in person. The vast majority of the Filipinas you will meet online or in person are just looking for a way out of poverty. You MUST accept this fundamental reality or you WILL be taken advantage of!

If she sends you saucy pictures, just tell her you've seen them already as another guy has posted them online, then wait for her response to tell you everything. When a woman talks, don't interrupt her as they always tell on themselves.

I like this video I like what you had to say I’ve been married to my Filipino this year we will be married four years we have a three year-old daughter. We live in the states right now, I am 63 years old. She’s a little younger ha ha ha we have a baby on the way and 63 is a beautiful life. She was a province girl Catholic met online at a good honest website site and life has been wonderful. Has it ups and downs but everything has been wonderful And I agree with everything you have said on this video please remind the guys out there looking for a beautiful wife they are plenty of them in the Philippines. You just have to be careful what you do and where you go be careful of the red flags keep up the videos I will catch up. Chad.........good topic and insights. I remember, many years ago, some of the girls I knew in college said that many guys think with the wrong head. Not to be crass, but I think they were on to something and it may be a good phrase that applies here in many cases. If a guy is looking for a wife or someone for a longterm relationship, do they really want someone who would send them provocative/intimate videos when the woman barely knows them? I always say that people don't think critically about anything these days. It isn't taught in school. Guys have to think critically as you are in this video. They need to take a figurative step back and assess the situation and the risk of a scam.

The long game is hard as many of those guys fall in love and then are easy prey for the manipulation.

I feel so bad for most young Filipinas who think that foreigners are their life savers. I understand that life back in the Philippines is difficult but it’s not an absolute reason to take advantage of other people. I totally agree not to be carried away with looks. Be smart at all times.

Overall, most Filipinas are not the brightest cookie in the jar. however, like the author says, when it comes to scamming you, they are good actors. They play to your emotions by giving you the sob story. run fast if they try that on you. Tip: usually the introverted ones are good, loyal ones that won't ask for money.

I think the whole wanting to play the hero for the damsel in distress when things are still wayy premature syndrome sometimes affects these situations and just leads to unnecessary heartaches.

Why is it you should get all the benefits you want, but not her? It's a trade off. If your going to the Philippines or wherever searching for a woman, your not high value. She's the higher value because your the one searching. If she's a beautiful young woman she's got lots of choices. Pay for the valuable thing you want.

I had several Thai women asking me for money. Send pictures for money. I have always the same answer NO. And they don't ask anymore because they know it's and it stays no. I have to do to much to save money that I'm not gonna spend on a woman I don't know. If you never encountered some shit in your life you fall for such women.

I work in BPO (call center) but I’m not like that and I don’t know anyone in my circle who’s like that. We have a decent job and live decently. Or prolly I haven’t met one who’s a sucker yet within the industry. But pls be aware that there are actually this group of people like some sort of syndicate (not really organized syndicate if u know what I mean). They target foreigners,they call “AFAM” A Foreigner Assigned to Manila (used to be just a gay lingo but both girls and gays use this word nowadays) for financial gain or to scam. These people would hang out in places where foreigners frequently visit. The IT Center has some call center companies as tenants there. So these scammers would hang out there and pretend to be call center employees as well to give a good impression. I’m not saying that that girl you met there really pretended to be a call center agent. Just saying it’s a possibility though.

In my situation, I've got so many men from all the way across the world playing their love scam. it gets to the point where they end up revealing the truth of what their intentions are or were. Nowadays I'm friends with most of them. Lol.

I'm half Philapeno , I was courting one of my cousins , and I sent her money ? And I remember a time she said someone robbed her , and I sent her more ? Both her parents work abroad , so she told me I really don't need that little money you send me !

Any guy who goes to the philippines and gets a girl the best tip i can give is keep changing hotels that way the girl cant find you and she cant make up some story tell the police and they come knocking looking for you.And also when the girl isnt looking put your wallet,phone etc under the mattress because when you go to sleep she will go looking for your money.

Those scammer gals will lie love foreiners until they suck as much as possible out of them. I met a sugar momma over there and was clueless and the whole family was in on it and more sob storys of health but her and 20 yr younger brother boyfriend would get most of the scam.

I live here and have for 7 years now.. every single Filipina I know is playing foreeners for as much as they can get. No exception : phony photo's, bull shit stories. To throw a net over a foreeener is a career move. The job is .... landing the net, and squeezing the payout. I have heard horror stories of Weeesterns that marry Filipina's invest in house & business's and years later, even over a decade. The guy comes home to an empty house & empty bank account. You can not buy land here if you are NOT a Philippino. You have a target on your back from the second you come off the plane................... That come fuck me look they give you at the mall is there first cast of the net. Play these manipulators, reverse the game on them and wear a wet suite. If you are weak, and expose your underbelly you will be gutted!!!!!!!!!!

Chad, how do you tell the difference between a long gamer and a genuine Filipina? Do you have a video about that? Most scammers play the short game and don't have much patience, in my experience.

Even with Filipinas, I will apply the same standard as with American women. Once they ask for money, I'm out. I would make it clear to not ask me for money.

There is no relationship on line, only in person. So never pay anyone a peso. It’s simple lol . Being scammed is optional

Guys get a prenup I did but also if you marry her n stay married for 9 months she can qualify for your social security widow benefits n her kids get a check if yiu adopt them ; so keep your saving 401 k for your children from a previous marriage everyone wins

In 2007 a female friend who was very lonely and in her early 40s was likewise taken in by a Philippine man she met through a work acquaintance in NC. Lo and behold she was invited to his country, went there and met his relatives who naturally all adored her. She came back and told everyone she and her fella were planning a wedding in the Philippines! Everyone’s mouths dropped open! Sounded like a fairy tale! So after a few months back to the Philippines she went, got married, and came back to our workplace with lots of beautiful, colorful wedding photos! He remained in his country. I can only suspect she paid for the wedding and who knows what else. After so long a time, she must have come to her senses, with him staying in the Philippines.…and the marriage was annulled. Lucky she could get out of it!! She really didn’t reveal the details to me, and she left our employer after so long a time. She was a sweet, hard-working, but dare I say gullible person who was taken on a romantic ride.

Interesting comments..Would like to say I know of many scammers! My Partner in crime came to Australia. As a tourist guide we grew too be friends. We have had 2 great children. Married. Got a nursing degree. Drivers licence. Her mother came to Australia for 3 years and never has anyone asked for MONEY...! Guess I'm lucky 😊
