I was told all the same crap.. "she only wants you for a green card", and "She will take all your money and house in five years" My response was, 'Well, it will be a great 5 years. :) Well, I was married before to an American woman closer to my age, and she took my money and almost my house...in 5 years. I have been married to my Filipina for 14 years and we have a 30-year gap. Additionally, when she first came to the US and we would go shopping, I noticed a couple of women (older American women) look at me with a disgusted look, but conversely, I saw men look at me, smile and give me a thumbs up!

My Chinese wife is thirty five years younger than me. We have been married for fourteen years. She is beautiful inside and out.

My Filipina wife is 25 years younger than me I met her in my home country Norway she is a 10 and she has a university education from her home country and she comes from a family that doesn't need my money either, I have never sent money to them. We have now been together for 6 years and married for 5 years, we moved down to the Philippines but went home when covid came, then we had a daughter who is 3 years old today And we live in Norway because I want her to grow up here at home. Speaking from experience (found my Filipina wife) 18 years ago. I was 32 and my American wife left me because she was unhappy. I found my Filipina wife in my business travels to the Philippines. She was an absolute breath of fresh air. She was 22 and very sexy, fit, feminine , kind, appreciative. Nowadays they call that "Traditional". It was the first time I have experienced a woman with that type of energy. She is supportive, understand each others roles in a relationship and never take each other for granted. I can not tell you the peacefulness that she has brought into my life. We now have 2 boys 14 & 16. I live in Colombia, not the Philippines, but we also have this issue. All of the people in the US think my wife is a Gold-digger, but we actually have the best relationship I have ever had. If you are stuck in a rut, it's just a long-term coffin. Be open-minded and explore the world.

What a special young woman. Its difficult at that age to see through all the smoke and mirrors society throws out. Relationships mostly come and go. Just enjoy them while they last and enjoy life. I was in my 40's before i figured that out.

Places like Philippines, woman grow up faster than western woman. They realize in an early age that what you need is more important than what you want in life.

Good perspective. I respect her points. Maybe most young Filipinas or even matured ones when found someone who really respects and love them can be very loyal and love and serve their men in a very traditional way.

Very interesting. This is a highly educated filipina who doesn't need a foreigner to go out of country for work. I travel extensively to hospitals across the U.S and see all types of filipino/filipina professionals that are recruited to the U.S. by various hospitals. I'm starting to see this in Education, as well, with licensed teachers being brought to small towns in the U.S. because they can't find local prospects. Someone would be fortunate indeed to land a Filipina like this.

She can talk the talk but they have "been together" for 3 years yet only spent 30 days together. None of her opinions are based on any kind of reality or real experience. They are both just living a fantasy. Find a young woman who's been with an older guy for real in a settled life and interview her. She will be able to give some real insights on it.

This is a great interview and she seems so genuine and sweet, much like my girlfriend. I however am not much on the large age gap thing but she made sense of how she thinks. I'm 50, my woman is 48 with 2 girls (21&23) & an adopted son (10). She works in Dubai as an event organizer. We started talking in July of 2023. Has a car, her own house and supports them on her own. Spent 2 weeks with her and her family in her province for Christmas and New Year's. They are the greatest people I have ever met in my life. I can say with absolute certainty that I am in love with her and her family. They welcomed me to be part of their family almost immediately and ask nothing of me but to spend time laughing with them. I will definitely marry her. I have been trashed by American women my entire life, never again. The "Sweet" American woman i was married to for 10 years was nothing but a liar and cheater. Just used me for money like all the other American women i had been with. Filipinas are the real deal, they are loyal and sweet. Just like anywhere in the world you will have bad apples......but America is FULL OF THEM. It's around the world thing since old times. Like some old rich/broke kings, prince, chieftains, datus, rich, etc marrying young gals. The average foreigner is richer/green card than the average local. Old Catholic priests in Pinas decades/centuries ago had multiple young gf/wives.

I liked the comment about Christian Filipina as that is where I met my mate. We started out video chatting 3 times a day for 2 hours each session. Eventually I had to cut back to 1 hour because of the time difference. We did this for two years prior to me coming to the Philippines so it was very natural for us to be together after that. She sold her house and store and bought the property we live on and I am building the house we are living in even though it's not finished. We are also building a farm on the property and our love continues on.

I educated my Filipina fiancé. I did this to lift her and her daughter out of poverty and have a future for her child. She has two yaya with fatherless kids, i plan to adopt these as they live on our farm and are as much family as our ( her daughter ). The age difference is 35 years. We have been together from before COVID. I retire this year and will start our / my last adventure from there. As I can only own 40% of a business, the yayas and her will share 60%. The adopted kids will continue to have education as well as siblings in a larger family and never have to answer “who’s your daddy!” Explaining multiple mommies will be differen!

my fiance is 9 year age gap. we ended up falling in love unexpectedly, i wanst even on a dating site or app. just mutual friend on facebook i saw her and thought she was really pretty. and started chatting her. we started out as friends for like 5 months because there was a girl i was dating here in the USA at the time. but we broke up so I started chatting with the filipina more and we ended up falling in love and I found out she had her own business in Sabah, Malaysia. so we finally were able to meet 2 months ago in Philippines. she is incredibly busy woman. we both split costs in philippines so shes far from a scammer. we plan to eventually get married but its gonna take some time because shes to busy with her business and needs to find someone that can manage things for her in malaysia.

In my experience, the Filipinos are not as acceptable about the idea of foreign age gap relationships as many people suggest. It’s just that the majority of Filipinos are very reserved in broadcasting their opinions to the public. We encountered two major situations regarding me and my Filipinas age gap, she 26 me 54 during my 5yrs living there. They did not confront me personally but confronted her. Most of them that are accepted by the family is because the money factor only.

I knew a couple with an age gap of about 40-50 years. They had a good relationship and had two kids. I never judged them.

Wise young lady!! Especially regarding marriage being a "con tract" and a "binding" one at that. If we truly love someone, why do we need to bind them to us rather than allow them to walk away every day no strings! That, to me, is a greater love. Someone who stays/"loves" us inside a marriage does so, often, because the alternative is too difficult. But if there's no contract, no "marriage" and yet you wake up together each morning, then, in many ways, that's far more a testament of true love, care and affection. If only more understood that. If a someone doesn't want to marry me then I'd view that as true love and care. The moment they want to entrap and bind me, I'm running! Not because I'm scared of commitment, but because I value commitment within a framework of continual agency 😅 Apologies if that sounds like a lawyer speaking 😅 😅

This is what the research says: Filipina's have virtually the same preferences in men that western girls do. Research found that these were the most important and attractive traits in Asia and the West: 1. Height, 2 Status, 2. Confidence, 4. Looks etc. So why do Asian girls often pick an older foreigner over a local guy? Some who do not think very deeply about this just assume it must be money. This is incredibly simplified. Consider what she can get: She can get a guy who is probably taller, better looks (due to lighter skin being exotic and attractive), has status, better teeth and so on. These are the same things western girls look for. So painting asian girls as gold-diggers is wrong. There are of course some who could hardly survive and prioritize money, but a western girl in the same situation, or a western (or any race) guy for that matter would do the same if they do not know where the next meal will come from. Height is universally found to be the most important trait. Next is status, and so on. Overall, asian girls exchange some age for all these benefits that they value in a guy. For them to pick an asian guy he would not only have to have the status, but also the other parts of the package, which are height, exotic looks, desirable genes for making a family, and so on. Reducing it to asian girls just want money is factually wrong, and disrespectful to asian women.
