@@ughaaghastness5440this may surprise you but people often like to watch streamers who are authentically bad at games in an entertaining way. Yes Asmongold is bad at learning how to play games, he’s slow to pick up on mechanics etc, gets stuck on a single meta for a long time “because it just works” (double “halbardo” jump attack etc), but he does all this in a way that’s entertaining to watch, even if just as second-screen content.

With a game like dark souls, he could just select a set load out and head butt bosses until he wins. I mean he legit was slow rolling on his fight with the nameless king, which is impressive he made it that far with slow rolling, but proves he struggles with decision making.

He doesn't know how awesome the scout is in deep rock, the boomstick (shotgun) with special powder is one of the most fun things in any game I've ever played. The survivor game is very well made (just like the original deeprock). Super intuitive and lets you learn the game step by step. These developers are really good honestly.

I honestly think the beauty of these types of steam games is it's almost like old school ps2 era games you load up and jump right in... the controls and the combat is really intuitive. Something that's missing in gaming today is you need hours of messing around before you even get to actually play the game

I love this game. If anyone has trouble with it, I suggest focusing on surviving long enough to get weapons to level 12 the first time in each run as much as you can. Focus on that, first, as they make your damage scale much better and give you more build options. Also, all the classes are cool in their own way, but the driller, the last one you get at player level 7, is by far my favorite. Stick it out even if it feels tough and you'll be cruising in no time. Note: I didn't have a successful dive until I unlocked the engineer, so don't worry about failing

I think upgrading Luck is very important as well as levelling the weapons to 12 to get the mk2 version from the get go

Vampire Survivors was the first of this genre that set the base blueprint... a lot of other great similar games with their own twists: Halls of Torment, Tiny Rouges, Soulstone Survivor, and now DRG adding in on the fun. They really aren't anything special, but still are fun to play.

yup. Its $10 usually but atm I think it is $9 since its on sale for the release of the early access. But yeah its a very cool price range. (also this game is a diff dev team to main drg)

To anyone wondering Deep Rock Galactic is an awesome game, think Starship Troopers mixed with Minecraft. The forty devs really put the players first, only game I've seen where if you don't complete the season pass they put the items in game for you to collect.

1 Red Crystal Node => Red Sugar (healing crystals) 1 green, red, voilet, brown cystal Node => unique crystals (special purchases) red vein => nitra (weapon purchase/upgrades) gold vein => gold need to mine all colorful things ( not all ) Plus, all dwarf dialogs in the previous main game were awesome and I see many of them used in this as well.

I actually prefer this to Vampire Survivors. It's very addictive. 2024 has been an amazing year so far with so many cheap games (Helldivers 2, Pal World, Granblue Relink). You could literally buy 4 amazing indie games for the price of a "AAAA" game.

Upgrades don’t do diddly. They need to work on that. U don’t feel like +20 damage does anything. After getting it multiple times. The quests are refreshing though
