You guys ever heard of Double Dragon? No? Well, NOW you have! I play through the entire arcade mode for this game and I can't believe this game made me resort to the cheapest tactics to WIN... Although, I will say... I've got no shame! I'll do whatever it takes to beat any arcade mode!

This is still a better looking and playing fighting game for Double Dragon than the one based off the cartoon. Also I kinda like how the super gauge is tied to your life bar and the lower your health the quicker it is to pull off supers.

@@zolli21 When you hit an opponent, the meter fills your health bar. Once it's the same or more than your current health, you can use your super

In theory it gives the losing opponent a comeback mechanism by giving him/her access to a super quicker than the other player but to fill the bar you have to be aggressive and connect hits so in a sense you still have to earn the super

That brings me back so much. There was an arcade with this game not too far from my house when I was a child and I used to sit there and watch everyone who went to play. I only played it twice and lost both times to the second character though.

This game was a success in Brazil arcades. Abobo is OP if you know how to play with him. He has a good string combo safe on block.

I am kinda mad with the arcade machine operator that set the difficulty to Level 8 in the mini market close to my house. I did beat the game but god knows it was stressful and after many attempts -.-

It was worse at my place, not only the operator put the game at Level 8, but he ALSO DISABLED the ability to continue the game after losing a match, making the game a literal Score Attack (well, if you have played said mode of the BlazBlue games, you know that 1 match lost = Game Over), and if it was a game like Metal Slug, oh god, the operator put the number of lives on zero or one depending on how the game manages the lives (yeah, meaning that you had to YOLO the entire game with a single credit, and in those games, the operator had malfunction the player 2 side on purpose, so you can't cheese your way to victory by changing player sides).

Justin, in the movie their "Master" was the lady taking care of them. The one Shuko blew up in the building. And the true reason why there wasn't a sequel was due to Technos selling the rights of the name during the process of the movie.

Shuko's super can be combo'ed with tons of stuff. Throw -> Shadow Attack Lightning -> Shadow Attack Sweep -> Shadow Attack Basically any knock down.

There is a sequel to this game on Neo Geo called Rage of the Dragons. Its legit super sick. Its got some of the prettiest graphics on Neo Geo.

It even says on the Wikipedia that the game was designed to be a sequel to the first Neo Geo game but they couldn't secure the rights during development so they had to make some story changes and make the game more of a homage to Double Dragon.

I'd like to see you tackle kof 2002 um arcade mode. Once you reach the end you can fight one of four bosses depending on how you beat your opponent in match 5. If you beat whichever boss you got with a super and you haven't used a continue in your playthrough you get to fight Omega Rugal.
