Capcom made a unique wrestling fighting game called Ring of Destruction that features professional wrestlers and it ACTUALLY plays like a fighting game! This underrated fighting game has so many unique elements to it. I truly loved playing it! Have you guys played this game before?

I love that Tetsuo Hara, the artist for Fist of the North Star, did the illustrations for this Slam Masters. That gives this game that extra shot of mega testosterone!

There's a sequel to _Saturday Night Slam Masters_ ? The game looks sick. 90s Capcom was unbeatable and I wish this would've been included in the fighting game collection upcoming.

This franchise is easily capcom's most underrated fighting game series ever . It's sad that these characters aren't playable In more games so many of these characters would've been so popular especially black widow.

@@siranchovy2995 You are right. Also in Blade's ending, a character from Street Fighter the Movie the Game (arcade version) is revealed that he was actually Gunloc (who is Guile's sibling) What a twist! Also, Capcom made an updated redesign for Blade for his bio in SFV site.

Thats correct, the legend himself, Tetsuo Hara designed the artwork of characters, even wanted to make a manga mini-series, sadly the game went underrated thus it never happen.

That's one of the game's highlights. I wish Capcom worked again with manga/anime authors in design/illustration. Not that Capcom's own talents aren't good enough (far from that), but that would be a nice change.

I’ve always really like this game. In fact I like it better then the first one. People hate on it because it’s not a wrestling game like the first one was and is instead a straight up fighting game, but I love it. Probably because I’ve always liked fighting games way more than wrestling games.

Same for me, I kinda like the 1st game too, but this one was just taking the wrestling theme and throwing certain stuff out of the window to make it a competent (and great) fighting game that REALLY deserves better, I hope it eventually gets revived just like how randomly we're going to get Warzard (Red Earth) and other games in the upcoming fighting collection (which for some stupid reason has Hyper Street Fighter 2 when THAT game fitted better in the previous Street Fighter Collection... not that I really complain to be honest, but still...).

@@Siepher83 Oh there's some hate man, even a few in this comment section, just look around, lol. There's a lot of people who loved the first game that hate this one because it basically switched genres and took away the stuff they liked. A lot of people see it as "just another mediocre fighting game". Look up a youtuber named Top Hat Gaming Man's video on it and look at the comments. Personally i've always really liked it.

This game is kind of like a bizarre mixture of the old Street Fighter games, Marvel vs Capcom and an actual wrestling game, it's incredible, my main dude there was Jumbo.

If Capcom made a sequel for this game I would totally buy it. It looks like fun. Plus I agree with Justin, Zangief should’ve been in this game as either a hidden character or even a boss fight.

More like a hidden character. Like Sakura was in rival schools. This is supposed to be the earliest in the SF universe timeline. Grief would likely just getting his start.

I love that the editor puts descriptions of the terms Justin uses. I know what they mean but I try to explain to my homeboy these terms and he don't be believing me that I'm saying real terms 😂 he deadass only really believes I didn't make the terms up when I show him videos like this on here & JM channel. Scorpion and Black Widow were always two of my favorite designs from Capcom's 2D era. Would have loved to see them get some modern love somehow, or even for Slammasters to pop up in that upcoming collection.

Yeah, pretty much the entire cast of the 1st game got different names (Haggar aside), but the sequel (which is this game) newcomers got lucky in that regard.

I remember that when I played the first one it seemed like a pain xD then I tried this one and it felt much better. I also think I would have liked to see some of these characters in Street Fighter instead dumb characters like El Fuerte. I hope that in SF6 they include Haggar once and for all.

Useless trivia. The character Gunloc appeared in an Street Fighter game...kinda. *Street Fighter the Movie the Game* (arcade version) has a character called *Blade* one of General M.Bison Troopers. In Blade's ending, it is revealed that he was actually Gunloc. Many years later Capcom did an updated look for Blade for the SFV site and made him canon. While, Gunloc is not mentioned in Blade's bio, his weight, height, blood type and even Likes are the same as Gunloc.

I noticed the fireball with the hair guy is an old wrestling trope of spitting ink in the eyes of the opponent. The jumpy state is supposed to simulate blurred vision on your part. Also did you notice your guy's fireball is a Spiderweb which attracts your opponents to you as well as damage them.

This game was the sickest. I hope it makes it to Capcom Classics Collection with netplay - it's HIGHLY underrated and super fun, and I wish it got a sequel. This is where Haggar gets his MvC3 moves from!

aight... so one night over a decade ago, I got high as all hell and booted this up on emulator... I swear that might've been the absolute most fun I've ever had in my life lol. I was having waaay too much fun with this game lol. there's just something so unique about this game and the OST is fucking amazing.

This game had as character designer, if Capcom ever makes a sequel they should hire him to make more characters and if they really want to step up his game, they could put Kenshiro and Raoh as DLC.

This just reminds me of back when Marvel vs Capcom Infinite's DLC characters were leaked and there were more Marvel characters listed than Capcom characters. For a solid month or so I was CERTAIN that the listing for Black Widow was in reference to this game and we were getting creepy xenomorph wrestler as DLC. Like why would there be more Marvel Characters than Capcom characters in this crossover game?
