Question of the day: *What is currently your most favorite game to play?*

to put it in perspective, I started playing Live For Speed at the age of 15-16, I'm now 32. its amazing to see just how this holds up today.

The fact that LFS is so much older than assetto and its this good speaks how great everything about it is 🥶

Graphics look quite stunning as for a free game physics really not bad, probably an enjoyable title!

I used to mouse drift a lot in this game, when the XRT car was included at demo (free) version. This game was never free, it has a free version with 2 or 3 cars only. Along time it got Tweakers, mods, we could tune the sh!t out every cilinder power, wheels positions, turning angles, tires size, everything on NewTweak Order or something like that

I also started with LFS! Back in around 2005. Even though it's old, they've made many improvements over the years, including VR support! It's what got me into driving, and everything it taught me about drifting worked in real life as well. It's still one of my favorite sims for getting better at driving in real life.

This is my main sim for drifting! Doesn't require a crazy pc to play it in vr either.

There are some ReShade presets for better graphics. With ReShade you can get a reflection effect too. There might be some tutorial videos :P And don't forget to try drift layouts in next vid. it's very fun to tandem in those layouts

LFS old, but gold. My first day then a play old demo was downloaded from CD from IT Magazine CHIP. Bc in a past I don't have internet, and phone at all lemao

Most favorite game to play, I never had a favorite game but one I wished to play again is Motorstorm. Motorstorm was an amazing racing game with single player, splitscreen for the family and friends and Multiplayer. I use to own Motorstorm, Motorstorm pacific rift, Motorstorm Apocalypse, and thats about it. What was Motorstorm like? Imagine playing a game with many vehicles to choose from! *dirt bikes, quads, buggies, racing truck, Rallycars, Monster trucks, and Big-rigs,* and.. *Mud Pluggers.* Imagine yourself driving a buggy in that game with two monster trucks right behind you. you use that boost button seeing the finish line of the last lap coming up ahead, you use all your boost pushing to the max until then... *KABOOM!* you blow yourself up overusing the boost gauge flashing at your screen making that warning noise finishing in first place, *AND* you see your buggy *FLY* across the finishing line in a ball of *FIRE.* Motorstorm was a game where you only unlocked different vehicle appearances, and paint jobs that came with them, and also characters and such. I believe one of the rally cars was a NASCAR and that was my favorite. seeing a nascar racing against giant machines and little machines. The more you won, the more the point bar progresses. (the point bar was also how you unlocked vehicles.) thats my favorite game, Motorstorm. Destruction and Hell.

I've been playing LFS in demo version for 4 years. I could never get the S3 license because the Turkish economy was very bad. 18£=605₺ And it's rising every day.

LFS is truly one of the most realistic driving games. Been playing it for over a decade. Graphics are not the IDEAL but the devs cared more about the actual driving and physics which more game developers need to do. Their main focus is graphics over GAMEPLAY. Great example is "battlebit remastered" too.

Assetto is basically only more popular because the modding support and graphics. LFS is a better simulator at the core. It does make sense why people go to assetto because you can practice certain maps and cars. But everything from suspension, drivetrain and tires are simulated more accurately in LFS.

Hey Goosiest, I saw your roleplay as a cop, you might want to check out the cruise servers if you want a roleplay for cops/criminals. There are many people there that would want to play with you :)

LFS is always shadowed by BeamNG 3 out 4 people like it better but in my personal experience LFS gives a more real* feel as far as the mechanics especially when its standard/manual shifter (G29 in my case) i'd say LFS all the way plays on all types of rigs and it's been going strong for 20 years. I am interested to see how City car driving goes, that will be next.
