Gale, shadowheart, and astarian are the perfect party if you ask me. Just based on personality and who seems most compatible with your character.

Sorry if this is something you already know or if it was an accident but I know that I have made the mistake a few times myself. With Astarion (Or rogue class in general) you can use dash and hide as a bonus action but they are listed in your hotbar as separate actions. So if you want to dash with astarion and then attack you should make sure that you are using the bonus action one so that you don't was an action accidentally. Especially with hide, I have lost so many actions because I instinctively pressed C to hide and it used the action instead of the bonus action XD

1:46:15 I’ve seen this scene so many times now but how you reacted was priceless, usually when I see people play they sit and listen for a second then immediately know what’s happening and still go in but it was so much funnier this time because you had no idea. It’s not easy to make me genuinely laugh out loud and it’s rare I find something so funny it hard to keeping my mouth shut and not laugh out loud but it’s 3am and I can’t wake up my family but it was so funny to me I had to pause and muffle my laughter with my face buried in a pillow and blanket over my head.

I really like Lae'zel. She feels like she's from a unique fantasy species and is a strong melee character. Plus she makes an excellent pragmatic voice during dialogues.

YES !! 🎉 i was worried Morph wouldn't play more and this is such a terrific play thru.. i mean, it's got its saucy bits, but it's just such a great story and I love Morph's style of play... K getting snacks and strappin in for the ride. This gonna be good!

@@MadMorph I am so glad. I want to see how things turn out for our perpetually angry peachy-haired protagonist. Fr this game is so well put together, like you spared the fight with the owlbear mama but there were consequences of someone else hurting her and her baby going missing. I love that. But it doesnt give TellTale's you moved a cup so definately you get a bad ending lol

I’ve played all the way up to the moonrise towers but watching this I noticed locations I missed and so many interactions that were completely different from mine. Even down to how certain npcs were introduced. Withers just showed up at my camp, the bard never showed up at camp and still alive, the guy that was upset about the droid cove gate not being opened stayed with the tieflings. And I didn’t get pickpocketed by the young tieflings. He was just shocked I traded with him.

Wyll is actually my favorite lmao He is the stereotypical hero in fairy tales, so I love banding with him and Astarion to see them crash sometimes on the road

I just adore the texture of outfits, it’s incredible! Different materials now REALLY look different! Not long ago all characters’ clothes only vary in color and we had to imagine that armour should be made of leather or something… but now here I can clearly see what parts of outfit are made of leather, of canvas, of velvet or silk. That amazes me and lifts the overall experience to another level.❤

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my brain the most. Your lil brain pal was dead on the beach after the crash, unfortunately. I thought he was cute too. BAHAHAHA. Whoopsie. I don't think Gale meant "give a hand" quite that way. Honestly, in the four playthroughs I've seen the windmill scene in, every single one of them has yeeted the poor gnome by accident. I laughed so hard. This was the first time I've ever seen what actually happens if you rescue him. Oh HELLO boinking monsters and Withers motor boating you! 😂

Love this playthrough - the narration, your playstyle and sense of heart - and your well made character! Only thing that is a bit frustrating to watch is you loading when the unexpected happens. I understand not wanting to lose a character lightly - this is reasonable enough - but I hope you can lean into the unexpected as the playthrough continues! We're with you in the chaos and surprises!

Listening to interviews, the game is designed so that you gain the same amount of xp in dealing with a situation through combat or social (to answer question about the cheesy bandit with the ship)

I think it would have been so fun to go with the route where you dimember Gale. I guess that's they don't recommend Dark Urge for the first playthrough ... so you don't feel the need to keep characters around because you already went through their stories

Finished your Part 1 video last night, now watching this one and just saw the part where you sent the gnome flying off the windmill. I busted out laughing so hard! 😂I also just want to say that I am LOVING your videos. I know nothing of DnD and never played any previous Baldur's Gate games, but this one seems VERY good and your commentary throughout the videos is seriously hilarious. I also totally see why you have the bedtime stories podcast because your voice is very soothing. These are the first of your videos that I have ever seen and I have become an instant fan and can't wait to watch the rest of this playthrough. Keep up the awesome work Morph! 💛

I've completed this entire region only to find out that I completely missed Gale hahahaha. It said the sigil was dangerous so I left it alone and forgot about it. Guess I may make a pit stop before I move on

Gale is my favourite lol. But I always keep Lazel and Astarion in my party. Lazel is very good at battles, I love just using ordinary attacks instead of all those tricks. Astarion is very useful on sneak attack which will save you from some battles and also good at lock picking and disarm the traps which save me a lot of re-rolling. The other two normally are my main character and a love interest.

Its so interesting how different everyones playtheough of this game is. I recently started playing and i took a wrird route from the cradh site according to my bf. Because i completely missed shadowheart and found her in the grove later on. I also didnt grind whithers in the tomb. I went to the tomb but i accidentally triggered the traps and save scummed it. Then forgot about it, and like multiple in game days later whithers just showed up in my camp lol its like my game is getting annoyed at the routes im taking and is saying "if i have to ahove this character in your face i will"

And thats when Morphy learned he should never enter anywhere without knocking first lol Specially your parents room! The flying gnome was incredibly unexpected too lol And I absolutely love Astarion and Gale. Wyll is too lawful good, even though he is a Warlock. But I do think I know why he is like this, considering what I know about DnD warlocks. Still, hope his character isnt so one note as the story progresses. Same for Shadowheart with being really judgy about literally everyone. She is hot female Sasuke vibes but lawful. Lae'zel is... well, I cant tell what her personality is yet, people seem to think she is dominant, but to me shes just a faithful minion for now. And I have a feeling I will love Karlach, but maybe its cause I think tieflings are hot.... Who are you interested in at the moment, Morph? Shadowheart?

Damn, you couldn't have read them more wrong lmao. God forbid female characters being stern, pragmatic, serious or grumpy rather then being constantly happy, bubbly and cheerful. At least Shadowheart and Karlach are hot enough to want to fuck them, right? 🤡
