Quick Cuts V2

Жыл бұрын

Another day, another disaster! This garden looks as if it has never been touched since it was planted and is well out of control. The plant is called New Zealand flax, and it's blocking access to the garage and is also just a general eyesore, let alone what could be lurking under all of that. This one is actually the front of the job with all the pots and another free cleanup. All up it took me around 3 hours to complete, and I took out around 0.5 trailer of green waste.
Workers on this job: George (Me).

FAQ's:
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

Where I live (east coast US) an invasive euonymous vine that was brought from Asia is the horror I fight, constantly. It is winning, lol. It is pretty, but it is eating the land around here alive, and is almost as bad as the kudzu. Native plants only!!😂

@@michaelmullin7941 Mine is Euonymous-it’s horrible. I have a small yard but to eradicate it I literally need a team of people every nice day to come and pull it up. Even then, it could just be contained. I think it may actually be holding up our hill at this point!😂😂

I love everything about this Palm Care, especially all the working sounds. 🥦🙂 But man, how labor intensive they were and how mu8ch green wate they produce when dried out! 😮 So is it because of the special climate (much sun little rain) or were the Palms just not enough watered? 🤔 Great & satisifed work / video as always 😛 Cheers

You do know how to find the nasty ones, George! This New Zealand flax looks like one of those irritating plants, recommended by landscapers, that need constant maintenance. Too bad the owner didn't ask you to rip them out. They will probably be neglected into a disaster again. You do good work!
