personally I dont hate-watch to see teams I dislike lose, I watch to see the teams I like do well. i wasnt expecting G2 to win this, but I hoped theyd put up a decent showing, which they kinda did in games 3-4, but Caps getting dumpstered every game was painful

@@zoid_on_youtube I support LCK, ofc I will watch GenG play. Their one of the best teams in LCK. G2 losing is just a bonus. G2 getting shit on and Caps looking like a cannon minion the whole series is just icing on the cake.

Draven picks aren't really scary unless you're against an LPL team. Moreover, LCK teams aren't that unfamiliar with Draven matchups.

They got outplayed. Caps got hopelessly outplayed by Chovy and G2 couldnt really do anything because the comps they picked were too hard to execute. It basically boiled down to "BB gets flank and G2 have a good fight, he doesnt and they lose".

@@PeoplePleaser578 because they engaged before he was where he needed to be to make the flank happen imo. If they timed that right, they win the game.

@@Velereonics I don’t think that was the case - BB got caught out on the flank by Doran and at that point the fights just over. Chovy chases caps out and the rest of G2 have to run because they can’t fight.

Draven was not the problem - Game 1 and Game 4, Hans played pretty well and Mikyx and he had a lead, the problem is their fight was absolute garbage and Caps was getting devastated all series long. Draven then gets hopelessly outscaled because he cant actually cash in on anything. This is also an issue with G2 not playing Aphelios comps - So basically GenG just dont have to protect against Aphelios into Jinx so they effectively get botlane counter pick every single game

But their best looking games this set was when they pivoted from their "set up plays to get Yike/bot leads early".

@@kissblade8587 Not really - Botlane got advantages in nearly every game and Yike played pretty well across the series, the problem is as G2 - How do you invest into your Solo lanes when Caps is basically feeding and BB struggles against good toplaners.

@@Finkaisar No thats what he said - This wasnt a terrible series from G2, they played better than most people predicted and they were competitive in a lot of these games... Even with Caps sprinting it and their weird drafts. It was actually a fun series... way better than T1 vs MAD xD.
