I think your E was doing more damage on the echo than directly... Also, it looks like the Test of Spirit counts every "new" instance as a new champion - meaning only if you kill it. But that means Illaoi can actually get MORE stacks than you'd think.

Heartsteel was super busted when it released on pbe i forget exactly how it was coded but it felt like the gains were exponential had a game where there was a 20k+ hp shyvana on the enemy team that just 1 shot everyone

i preffer to use thornmail and sunfire and instead of hulbreaker i preffer either a death dance, spirit visage or esscence reaver instead of black cleaver becaus armor shredding is nice but illoai isnt meant to take on people fast its better to have more sustain imo

the thing with illaoi is that black cleaver gives ad and hp that converts to more ad from hydra and more hp from heartsteel, and that converts to more ad, which is a loop of infinitely increasing hp

You can bully him early but once he has ult he'll take every opportunity to get his revenge. He won't ever get stronger than you but he'll do exactly what this Garen did. Bait you into getting ganked so he can just ult when you get low enough. Zwag got lucky in this match. There were multiple deaths he could have avoided by being more patient. Check out DirtyMobs for real Illaoi playing. Hes not nearly as entertaining but he is educational.

The reason you kept getting heartsteel stacks was because it resets on every E no matter if uou just got one from an E on the same champion. You basically could get 1 every 10 or so seconds from her E.
