Stunning image Matt. I told you that you would love the 70 300, I do !!! I have just purchased the Viltrox13mm f1.4 and you were right, this is an amazing lens for the price.

Flinders & Arkaroola is amazing, didn’t get to see much last May the engine management light came on and we had to return to Hawker … bugger, must to back and complete the Oodnadatta Tk. Looking forward to Slovenia …

I agree with your comments about the 70-300. It's a great lens and so much easier to use than the 50-200.

It's an interesting lens, competing directly against the 16-55mm f2.8 Fuji's 4-primes-in-1 lens. Based on the several reviews out there it is good, just not 16-55mm good. Also it doesn't have the aperture ring, which is a Fujifilm design language that most Fujifilm users are used to and appreciate. It's definitely a strong contender against the Fuji 16-80mm f4, both lenses have solid OIS, yet Fuji wins in built quality option for a more metal construction. Yet that could be a good thing if you want lighter lenses with less metal. The elephant in the room is quality control, some people have received some amazing copies, while others swear that they got horrible copies. So perhaps make sure you purchase from a reputable seller who'd allow you to exchange in case you've got a bad copy. I'm personally waiting for the Tamron 11-20mm f2.8 to come out, I'm optimistic that more third-parties will bring awesome alternative lenses to the Fuji system.

I'm sceptical if i should buy or not.. also sigma 18-50 f2.8 is about to release probably in December and who would forget the first parfocal lens from fuji i.e. xf 18-120 f4 which is releasing in a week or two.. also viltrox 13 mm f1.4 created a niche.. so much excitement for fuji world.. i am confused between tamron 17-70 and xf 18-120.. should i wait or get the tamron?? Big confusion for me right now 😭😭

@@maheshsuradkar if confused, just wait and see the reviews. If I hadn't gotten a really good deal on the mark II of the 10-24mm I'd probably wait for the Tamron too. You're right, there is a lot of excitement coming to Fuji soon 😎📷

@@williamaungleyraud which lens are you referring to regarding the quality control, the fuji lens or the tamron lens ? And how does this show? How does one detect the bad lens ? Is there a common problem found?

I've watched the first 3 minutes of this and I have no idea what lens this is. Maybe do a better job of introducing it and then labeling it in your items as" lens in video "or something?, so I can click it to buy it through your link... great production quality by the way 😁
