Locker Nuts episode 517
We're back for more digging in the "Million Dollar Train Locker" that we bought recently. This time, we intend to locate the rest of Christmas items, since we're well into December and the market is hot right now. But we can't help but poke around a little, and some of the items we find simply take our breath away.
This is episode 10 of the "Million Dollar Train Locker"

Keep the ceramic Christmas tree. Those are from the 60s and 70s. It's an Atlantic mold tree someone made it. They are going for hundreds and with the base are great. If I were you I'd keep that for my family. I have one my mother had made for my grandmother. I see the prices on these large ones that shock me. KEEP IT!

I'm from the UK and we had one of those in the 90s but was all white and we were given it from an American couple that were in the army and were based in greenham! Think my mum might have it somewhere in her loft! Brought back memories of Christmas and placing the little birds all over the tree

Once Atlantic mold Co went out of business they sold their molds to secondary companies and these trees are still being made! The original vintage ones come with glass lights that attach to the branches, those are the ones from the late 60s, 70s. Ones with plastic lights are newer, made up until the early 2000s and are less valuable than the vintage ones!

@@I_am_me8560 The one I have was made in 1965 by my mother and says Atlantic molds on the bottom of the base and my mother's name and date 1965 on both the top and the bottom. And mine does not have glued in anything . It has the holes and I have the plastic bulbs to put in it. So you are very wrong about the lights being glued in only in the old ones. I'm in my 60s so trust me on this I was there when this was made and have seen many of them over the years.

@@gigisdreamworld2624 , I'm not disputing the age of your particular tree in the least! And yours is probably the earliest that they started making them! But what I am saying is true, you can look it up online! The one that Janna found in this locker just said " Atlantic mold" there was no year on it so you can't assume that it's from the 1960s as well, that is what I was trying to say! The molds were sold off when the company was sold so even the more current ones will say Atlantic molds on them! That's why you can check the prices on these and some sell for 40 bucks and some sell for 400 bucks! The older ones are worth more and the original ones had glass bulbs! I've bought and sold 3 of them over the years! They are lovely!

As a retired police officer I love all the Code 3 items, but if I had something like that beautiful wooden pirate ship I would throw out the television and mount that ship directly over my fireplace mantle, or second thought if I had all the big ships, etc. i could create a complete nautical themed office environment complete with Jacks cool fog machine. However, something like that would slow my work output due to daydreaming of being on those ships! Lol… thanks, and keep up the great videos….

I'm not an expert but I'm from one of the countries which had the most famous pirates - and my guess is that the hand-made ship is too large to be a pirate vessel, their ships were smaller and easier to manouevre. The sail configuration reminds me of a tea clipper with a large expanse of sail to get the ships moving round the trade routes - from Asia to Britain, from Britain to the colonies - right round the world and back again. Look at some of the tall ships based in Mystic, Conn - that model looks more like them, or like the Cutty Sark which is moored in the Thames in London. Either way, that ship belongs in a museum, or in the front window of a specialist store.

Most smell like typical christmas scents. They got to be lit with a lighter and then slowly burn down. He then starts smocking threw his mouth. Typical here in Gemany mostly used in Saxony.

For me, the most spectacular item is the ship in the wooden crate. That is awesome.

Alot of AMAZING finds again. The ship looked outstanding. I personally loved both the boats. Big amazing items. Excited to see what else you find. The Christmas lights looked super dope too. Thanks again for a brilliant video. Stay safe and see you next time. 💜
