Hey you!!! I'm a retired Veterinarian that has given Brandon advice many times that he chooses to ignore & then ends up running an animal to their local vet which could have been avoided if he would just be humble enough to try something someone else advises but if it's not his idea he doesn't even want to hear it!!! Your values etc that you instill in them, will stay with them for their lifetime. Children need parental guidance, love and inclusion, and you show that in everyday life. I love how you and your family are being kind to your animals it teaches them compassion and we all know the world needs more of compassion. Brandon, some people want to see you run your homestead the way they would and have no qualms about telling you so. They have no idea what goes into running your farm and providing care for your animals. You never have to feel as though you are not succeeding according to their expectations. This is your farm and you are managing it in the best way possible for you, your family and the menagerie. Learning as you grow the farm and raise your family to be good stewards is to be commended. You are successful and should be proud of all you and Stephanie have accomplished. It is nothing short of amazing. Ignore the naysayers, they don’t have a clue and couldn’t do a quarter of what you all do. God bless you, Stephanie and your amazing kids in all you do. I'd say on our 400 acres we probably have 10 ponds and what some would call a couple lakes. But for a small shallow pond like yours Eddy you might invest in a vertical pump aerator. They sure saved alot of small ponds on our place over the years. I'm not being critical now, just saying. 😊

Brandon, your words are very heartfelt. I watch you and your family because I love seeing you develop your land, how you do it and all the incredible hands on learning the kids are all getting. The most important things I learned in my life were doing things next to my parents, seeing them doing things and them showing me how to do it, them allowing me to try things my way and even if they knew something wasn’t going to work, it wasn’t a failure…they stepped in and helped, explained and assisted so I always felt success. You and Stephanie do this daily and the growing your kids have done is wonderful to watch and see. We learn from each other and that helps us grow. Improvise.. Take 3 2x2 pieces of wood, some hinges and make a tripod and attach the sprinkler head on it. You're on a farm. Don't run to Tractor supply when things break. Fix them. Save your money Bro. I came from absolutely nothing myself. We learned early that we needed to repair things ourselves.. It was an outstanding lesson I have carried with me thru life. I'm 72 and I still fix things myself. Of course my Wife thinks I'm nuts.. LOL.. !! But I can still fix it..

You wife, and kids are the most precious things a man can have besides his relationship with his Lord. If God has blessed you with you farm you have been blessed indeed so if someone starts dogging you about something that they deem wrong tell them they don't know what they are talking about and leave it at that. I don't always have time to watch daily or catch the lives. I have seen a huge improvement in your property from the first day. I have also watched you learn and grow with your animals. There is no 100% right way to do things, your animals have water, food, & shelter( natural or manmade). You ae learning to garden, learning what works for you and what doesn't. Your children help with the animals and garden, a good learning experience for life. I have watched Kayson who at first would not hardly say a word on camera to a young man telling us about "his" chickens. Leighton has a great work ethic especially in this day and age. You teach your girls right along with the boys how to build things and work the tools, which is a good thing.

Great video. I love your animals. You have some of the cutest baby goats. They have beautiful markings. The land looks really good since you mowed. I’m like you I like a clean neat yard and like my land to be nice not trashy. You guys really have accomplished a lot on your land. Those turtles though they are bad news. Your kids are a really big help. They seem to be really self motivated. I’ll pray for you for you for your doctor visit. I have had a stomach problem for about 6 months now and they can’t find what keeps causing an infection in my stomach. I hope yours goes fine with great results. I’d break the other legs off of that sprinkler and strap it to a piece of rebar that is painted or taped colourful so people and animals can see it and stick it in the ground! Lol. Love your videos. ❤❤

Brandon I think you and Stephanie are doing an amazing job on your phone don't listen to what other people say they probably never lived on a farm so they don't know how farm life is I know what it's like I've lived on a farm before and I applaud you and Stephanie and all your kids you have my appreciation for what you do and your family as well

Those are wise words, my friend, and you keep working towards your goals. It shows. You guys are living my dream. I just love watching you all. Sometimes I catch myself hollering something to you, forgetting you can't hear me. My grandkids get a good laugh 😅. It's easy to say forget about the naysayers, but it does get to a person. People can be mean, but more than likely they're just jealous of what you have and they don't!! You have done and are doing an amazing job. Your right we can't give up. People have no right telling u how to live and how u do things...From what I see, y'all are doing a fantastic job, with ur animals, ur property, the garden (omg I wish I was able to grow half of what u did!!) and raising ur babies to work and learn how to build up the life y'all have.. Bless you Brandon for being open and honest. Your family is amazing and you have so much to be proud of. I love watching y'all work together to build your dreams. I'm starting a homestead with my middle son and my boyfriend who is the love of my life. I've had a rough life and at 60 I have many health issues that make it hard sometimes to do things. But with God and my family I'm moving forward. Yes we all need to be reminded sometimes that forward doesn't happen if you give up . God bless y'all and lots of love from Anna in Iowa

Thank y'all Brandon, for y'alls words of encouragement. I don't comment most times, but, well, I'm just an old lady of 69 years, be 70 come next spring, if the Lord is willin. But, just wanted to say y'all's words encouraged me. I be in a hard situation for an old woman, and don't rightly know how things is gonna turn out. But I just wanted to say thank y'all for the encouragement. I know the Lord will somehow make a way. God bless y'all.

That was a good word! Never give up! My sister brought me a plaque that hangs on my bedroom wall which says NEVER GIVE UP! I have had an autoimmune disease for a number of years and nearly died several times. But I survived. I refused to give up even when the doctors said I wouldn’t make it. I give all the glory to God! I can do amazing things sometimes. I can still drive my vehicle and I putz around in the garden. Do chores in the house. I can cook my own meals. I am blessed. Come winter I have to stay inside and I have the life of a hermit. I’m allergic to the cold and I can’t breath. It’s a long winter and it will be here in October. But I can use that time to pray for others. Brandon it is nice to hear it again! NEVER GIVE UP! Thank you!

My name is Cathy Miller I am handicap and in a motorized wheelchair I can't get out at all and I miss out on all outside stuff and even playing with my grandkids so my things I look forward to is the KZfaq channel and there family I have maybe 5or 6 KZfaq channel I look forward to watching and your KZfaq channel is number 1 I just love your family and how you all work together ❤😊
