Got Aesi in 2021 for my birthday and it’s been the best thing that has ever happened to me in my magic life. Running cards like vorinclex, void winneror, ulamog, God-Pharaoh's Statue, Narset partner of veils, hullbreaker, omniscience, seedborn, temur sabor tooth. a lot of removal and counter spells. Love Simic Value. 💙💚

Aesi is one of my favorite decks to play. I would highly suggest no maximum hand size cards as a first upgrade if possible. Reliquary tower, decanter of endless waters, thought vessel, etc.

I do really like your Aesi deck, which for its budget is pretty damn good. It would be great if there was just a bit more varied spot removal, but there is clearly a strong board clear element, some of which pulls double duty as protection for your commander. Other than my preference for a little bit more removal and some more varied spot removal, I see what you've done with a lower budget and can see this deck doing quite well against other decks built on a higher budget.

Absolutely love my aesi deck! My friends now target me hard when they see I’m playing it and it still performs. My win rate with it is pretty insane.

Aesi is my Ace in the Hole. I use cards like Sakishima to copy Aeisi and just draw until I deck out but becuase I have Jace Weilder of Mysteries on the field, I automatically win. Also if you use Ramunap Excavator and you have 3 Aesis out, you can play up to 8 lands a turn so long as you have Terramorphic or Wilds.

The precon comes with a pretty nasty combo (if you have the mana for it), whelming wave to bounce the board then reclamation sage to get whelming wave back and do it again.

It can be a pain to deal with. Mine is high powered. I'm running most of the fast mana rocks. A lot of reactions and counter spells. Big scary things like vorinclex, void winnower, ulamog, God-Pharaoh's Statue, Narset partner of veils, hullbreaker, omniscience, seedborn and temur sabortooth. Asei is the definition of Simic Value. Asei is scary when built right.

Aesi.. so classic. Used to play it out of the box against my cousins real decks and it got rolled so hard we used to joke that the picture wasn’t to scale and Aesi was just a tiny fish in Urza’s aquarium. Then I upgraded him..

Minor note for journey to the oracle: you have to discard a card before the draw triggers from your commander will resolve. Still amazing, but important to note

I play Collective voyage in my aesi deck it is a good persuasion card. Some of these cards I'll have to look at adding to my aesi deck I'm still leaning towards the sea monster tribal cuz big beefy monsters. And I added eldrazi monument and bearscape for the late game making my creatures harder to deal with and making use of my discard pile by making sac outlets to keep it around

It’s very similar, ramp and card draw. Make sure you run evolution sage and ancient greenwarden.

If you want to put some affordable reserved list spice into your Aesi deck, add Soldevi Excavations, Thawing Glaciers and a Undiscovered Paradise.

Aesi is just really fun no matter who you are. Extra lands and insane card draw allows you to do so many things that there really isn't a way for it to be fun.

I would look into scute swarm for this. Whenever you have 6 or more lands in play. It creates another copy of itself. Thwn those coppies make coppies. And then more coppies of those. And then more. And it keeps doubling until you have hundreds. If not. Thousands of scute swarm creatures. Not to mention cards that can give those all counters

Soratami Rainshaper is very good in this deck, as well as Soratami Savant, and Uyo Silent Prophet. All 3 are dirt cheap and any of them are better than Patron of the Moon by far.

There is an infinite mana combo with this commander but it's like very specific. You need lotus cobra, that blue enchantment that landfalls to untapped a creature, any creature that taps to let you play a land from your hand, and simic growth chamber Edit: if you do get this combo off have a laboratory maniac in your deck cause each time that land etbs you draw a card and you can just draw your way to victory

There are some more ways enabling an infinite mana combo. Just mentioning some: Kodama of the East Tree + Trench Behemoth + Rampaging Baloths/Scute Swarm/Tireless Provisioner/Tireless Tracker (all on field) + Land in Hand Retreat to Coralhelm + Scaled Herbalist (or any other permanent that can tap to put a land into play) + Trench Behemoth + 1 Land (all on field) Besides infinite mana they also give infinite Landfall/EtB Triggers, so You can cast Aesi, then draw Your deck. Most Combinations can at least give You infinite Landfall/EtB Triggers or infinite Creature Tokens. You can also add combo pieces to get Infinite Turns.

At long last you see the value of Jadzi! Saints be praised! Her back spell is a pseudo-Fastbond! This deck is insane, putting Tatyova into the deck is an awesome move, but to call her a pig is an insult, pigs tend to chew... Look to Soratami Mirror-Mage and Soratami Seer for added land-based effects. You can cycle through your deck with Seer and can combo Bounce and Landfall abilities with Mirror-Mage, and make targets for the Patron of the Moon!

Anyone’s opinion on why to run this over Tatyova, Benthic Druid? Sure I get the additional land, but it’s one extra mana, and it doesn’t trample which I personally feel should be somewhere on the card. He a big boi

Depending on what deck your opponents run a Jaheira's Respite can either be pretty good or absolutely overwhelming. Just be careful you don't deck yourself out

Run mean stuff. I run hullbreaker, omniscience, ulamog, void winneror, narset partner of veils, seedborn, God-Pharaoh's Statue, temur sabor tooth, vorinclex. A lot of removal and counter spells. Aesi has so much ramp and card draw you can play an ulamog so fast and other big scary things.

My first precon. I ended up dismantling it because it was too boring. Every game was just ramp, draw, ramp, draw, ramp, draw, SEA MONSTERS. I have since rebuilt it with some of the best cards and now it's one of my strongest, most consistent decks. Still pretty boring tho.
