Check out a little something we have been working on: fortwild.com/
Tired of relying on gas stations to air up your tires and facing broken compressors? Tired of having to rely on other people for simple service like tire inflation? Want to make the gas in your tank stretch a bit further? Welcome to a great one day build that will help with all this! Today we are hanging out in the shop making a sweet affordable and easy to make compressor cart! With some scrap wood and a quick trip to Harbor Freight it should be a great time!

Awesome use of scraps, and it's the way you like it, which makes it invaluable. And you get tons of pride in the accomplishment of doing it from beginning to end with your own hands. Do it all while you can, and when life and health issues take their tole, keep the hopes up that it's only a chapter in your life, and that some day you'll get back into all those things you Love.

@@zacinthewild I was thinking you could use the wood you used for the compressor to sit on to make a platform that extends out further forward. I'm guessing the box isn't so heavy and you could have full contact with the box instead of having the overhang. I hope that makes sense, I'm not great at putting ideas into words. KZfaq needs to allow for doodles in the comment section. Lol

Slick idea. An alternative that would suit many is having the compressor just inside the garage door with a 50' retractable hose reel mounted just above it, they run about $100 at Harbor Freight. A lot less fabrication and the 50' hose will reach about everywhere in your garage or out to the driveway. A simple tug and the hose winds itself back up.

Ooooor.. or.. stay with me.... You buy an upright compressor that rolls. Zip tie the spools of air hose and extension cord. And some even have spots built in to keep your air tools on them. So.... Same thing...ish. lol. All that aside. I think this is cool. The video title and thumbnail did not match the content on this one in my opinion. I will watch anyway, because I really like you guys. I know it is hard to come up with random content and you guys have been trying hard. Love it either way. Keep up the great content. Channel will grow fast.

Why not invest in an air compressor/ jump starter combo? That way you aren't reliant on your car's battery for your air compressor? Also, you have a Jump starter if you have a dead battery. [The downside is the degrading li-ion battery that most combo units use.]

I agree the grinder is a dangerous tool so I'm a bit nervous seeing you use the cutoff wheel without the blade guard. Maybe I'm a nervous Nelly but if that guard reduces the chances of a piece of shrapnel mating with my carotid artery even a tiny bit I will use it. Same with push blocks on jointers or table saws... 99% of the time you might be fine, but that 1% chance comes with heavy consequences.
