My cat will always respond when I speak to her. Then she awaits my response back! I hadn’t known cats did this or could have such personality, as a former ‘dog person’. I’ve learned though that they have very distinct personalities, same as puppers!

IKR, I hate it when people say cat's aren't friendly or loving. My cat ALWAYS purrs and says hello every effing time he sees me even if it's like 100 times a day for every day of hte week during my time off. Unlike my dog though, he doesn't act needy as well when I'm NOT around. It's just an actual love instead of a dependent one.

I AGREE !!! When I started dating again after a divorce, I had "must love cats" listed right after "must treat me realllly well" 😂. After the first date of a lovely hike, he asked " Do you want to go back to my house ? ...I'll make us somethinvg to eat and you can meet my cat ." (Hmmm, he cooks AND honors his cat?!!) We've been married 28 years ❤😊😚😂
