Fantastic episode guys. My Great-Grandparents on my mother‘s side wouldn‘t have survived without St. Mary‘s and were deeply involved in the community. Why our club hasn‘t stepped up big time with all the money floating into personal bank accounts is a disgrace and something only pressure from our fanbase can rectify. The fans are the heart of Celtic FC but St. Mary‘s is the soul and we have to protect and nourish our true faith-CELTIC and everything it should stand for.

I think Simon used to live in East Kilbride. I remember saying hello to him in the Stewartfield Safeway a couple of times in the 90s. Was a boyhood hero of mine and I remember being a bit starstruck 😊

Excellent program once again lads. Very entertaining. About St Mary's, I'm sure Celtic could organise a bounce game between the first team squad and the younger b squad guys e.g. Vata, Kelly, etc. Mix the b squad and the current squad to provide two teams 15 or 20 quid a skull. You'd pack Celtic park, raise a fortune, fans would get to see the young talented guys as well as their favourites, and be entertained, while the manager finds out if there are any hidden gems in the b squad who could step up to the plate. Sorteed. Could even be on a weeknight. I would definitely go - and I'm a tight b@stard.

Had Southampton not had a series of terrible managers, Fraser Forster's career may have been very different. He got blamed for everything standing behind a back four that terrible. So he got dropped, for McCarthy I think, then McCarthy got dropped for Gunn. At the time Joe Hart was first pick for England and Forster was behind him, I think he was better than Hart and maybe still is.

He walked out on us for the money and greed, he could have became the greatest Keeper in our history, bar Johnny Thomson and Ronnie Simpson, he was that good. 8 years wasting away at Southampton, dreadful decision that he surely now regrets every day.

I've got pretty much every home programme from the 96/97 season. Was the only season my parents could afford one for me and what a ride! I had green and white boots and had my picture taken at the Station Hotel in Shotts with the golden boots! I'm selling the programmes to a good home on Gumtree if anyone wants a look. HH

Tommy burns team produce the best football ive ever watch at Celtic. Paolo , what player was just amazing footballer , king of kings Henrik Larsson, what can i say about our celtic Henrik Larsson, you are my larsson, my henrik larsson, who make my happy when he skies are grey, we went for shearer, he was w**ker lol please dont take our larsson away

@@patrickloughrey Hear! Hear! 💚 TB’s side(s) were certainly the best I’ve witnessed in the flesh, as much wee Martin’s sides were marvellous on the eye too for the most part. What shades the TB era for me, was the cult hero status of the Three Amigos (and Thom). My best Celtic memories for sure watching them play, which speaks volumes considering we won a mere one trophy under TB, staggering to still think that.

@@leannecampbell4551 yeah Leanne i completely agree i just love watching Tommy Burns as a player too, ive got great memories playing for the hoops, he was fantastic in our midfield and all over the pitch he wore that jersey with pride and passion he just love celtic. i also love billy stark, he was sensational player for the hoops. Andres thom fantastic footballer. we have produce some of the best footballer in the olden days, from cannonball kid charlie, kenny dalgish, paul mcstay my dad love wee jinky johnstone

@@patrickloughrey Amazing you got to witness TB wearing the Hoops during his element, I only started going to (the odd few) games with my Dad and siblings during the double-winning '87-88 season, but my distant memory of TB playing is very sadly not a strong one. I do however have greater memories of Charlie Nic however, during his second spell, especially the '91-92 season, when he scored that wonderful volley against the Huns at Ibrox, right in to the top bin it went! 😎💚Which incidently, was also my first ever 'Old Firm' match, aged 10! 😂 I've since met the great man twice at charity events, and he is an absolute diamond and true Celtic man, regardless of what anyone says about him.

@@leannecampbell4551 i would love to have met the cannonball kid Charlie Nic, Leanne i went to my first game when i was in primary school with my sister and my dad, i think i was seven at the time and also my school friends saw me on tv through sportscene when i was looking through the old barriers to watch the game in the old traditional celtic end in the very old stadium. ive been through some tough time with celtic when sir alex ferguson dominated scottish football with Aberdeen ive seen gordon strachan, joe miller, alex mcliesh etc the Aberdeen team, dudee utd come to paradise and really put us to the sword in those days. ive also been to the stadium when we had celtic for change campaign against the old board when 13 thousand supporters outside protesting etc. David provan was also a fantastic player to watch live. how many brothers and sisters do you have leanne? .

46:01 - Try not to repeat propaganda about not winning knockout ties since the MON era, which was all started by rangers fans. Remember, we reached the knockout stages of the Champions League three times since O'Neill's time, which is a far greater achievement than winning Europa knockout ties. It also diminishes what we did in 2012/13 when we beat Barcelona and got 10 points in the group stage, which seems to be forgotten now.
