As a German, who drinks a lot of Glühwein (mulled wine) during Christmas time, it definitely tastes 1000x better when it’s cold outside. We really mostly drink it when we’re outside in the cold on Christmas markets or so. The hot and sweet just really hits the spot then. But beware, you‘ll be hammered in no time lol

Loved Vlogmas & your wrapping ! Polaroid gift tag is unique . I take everything down but one undecorated Tree that is left up until March first . We just leave lights on it & pine cones Greenery stays up until March first. All Christmas starts coming down ASAP. We moved from West coast to east coast & I miss Green all year . My home states are AZ , Oregon & northern Cali. So I love watching west coast vlogger's reminds me of home.

I usually take my decorations down the first week of January, but this year I'm kind of more excited for the new year and that "fresh start" feeling, so I think I'm going to try to get it all put away before then!

honestly i think this was my favorite vlog, i loved it so much haha. the polaroids made me laugh and are such a cute idea! i did a godiva advent calendar this year, and they did about 8 different chocolates which i was also appalled by! they should have 24 different ones!!!

I have baubles and Fairy lights up from last year (and before). It’s more an aesthetic choice then full on Christmas core. But when it’s over 100F and 90% humidity you just do what you can do. ❤

My Christmas stuff came down in Christmas. I spent Christmas Eve with family and then took all my Christmas stuff down on Christmas when I was home.

Mid January!!! Cuz I’m from Puerto Rico and we celebrate three kings day 🥰

The first moment i saw that winebottle i was like "thats what we have here" and you confirmed later on its our good old (cheap and kinda bad) german glühwein. And you absolutely need to put oranges and stuff in there to make it better, its just the base... Also you need to put the spices and stuff in the wine while heating it up!!! So if anyone wants to try the glühwein, put in 1 orange in slices, some cloves and cinnamon sticks while heating it up! Happy holidays from germany.

There have been times I have started taking down my tree (which is always pretty big) on Christmas night. But I also like to get decorations down ASAP. For some reason the decorations make me sad when Christmas is over. This year I decorated with a tree theme (plain trees- wooden, flocked, mini, cedar etc,), so may leave up everything for the winter BUT the main tree and anything Christmas specific.

Loved the idea with the pictures on the gift.

Next year just get a nuts and chews see’s candies box/ your favorite ones and make your own 🤣

I'm so bummed the Glühwein was a bust. We just got back from Germany, and the Glühwein at all the markets we went to were delicious! I only found one to taste sweet, but I'm sure the environment/weather plays a role in it as well. I don't know if there is a Coopers Hawk winery near you, but their Winter Red and White mulled wines are fantastic 👌 Also....I'm sad to see the Sees advent calendar was a flop. I had never heard of Sees until your vlog and my husband happened to bring a random box of chocolates home (they were sold wrapped in Christmas paper on the Naval base) and they turned out to be Sees candy. He picked them up because they were on sale for $3. Anyways, they are delicious and I wish your calendar had more variety!! Happiest of Holidays to you, Drew, and y'alls families!! I don't know if you have a Dollar Tree around you, but their brand of postal paper is thinner and easier to wrap with. They also sell the name brand, so make sure you get the Dollar Tree brand (I think it is JOT brand, but not 100% sure).
