Oh, one other thing I think you missed with the colors- You can put a higher color energy into a lower color slot, but not the other way around. So there was a turn where you had an orange in hand that you could have played in your blue Consecution slot which should have generated another energy for you since it was the last energy in your hand. But I also agree that this game is really interesting in that you don’t generate block- you block by attacking in a Dragonball Z style beam clash.

I love how comfortable you can tell Tyler is by when he takes damage. Tiny Rogues: Take 9 damage bringing me down to one health? Yeah send it. Lonestar: Take 8 damage send 23? I am dead brother.

I love how it switches between oh no bad play and oh perfect play, we’ll just skip anything in between. Looks like a nice game hope to see some more, was fun to watch ^^

Olexa, you can put orange to ANY color slot. there were times where for example you didnt put orange energy into blue slot of consecution, it would give you another energy and save more hp or kill enemy faster. I am not hating but i am giving feedback. Great video BTW!

So Olenky, the tutorial telling you about the ability to do a temporary retreat I think was trying to get you to do the exact thing you said you’d do for a later battle- That being you’ve entered the fight, realized this guy shoots only in the mid lane, and youre expected maybe to back out of the battle and mod your ship to have more offense in the middle lane. The tutorial really doesn’t do a good job explaining that, but your brain put nearly all of the pieces together by itself. Instead of doing that for this battle, you resolved yourself to do it for a future battle.

I've played it a little bit and it's really nice. It feels like slay the spire meets dicey dungeons and the gameplay is quite satisfying. The one thing they really need to improve is item descriptions and the name of mechanics. It's not too uncommon that I see an item, read its description a couple of times slowly and am still not sure what it does. I'm sure they'll improve that with time though

Spicy, this seems like a great game. That walk away from the upgrade was an ouch, I do feel like a tool tip telling you it would do that would be good for the tutorial.

At first I assumed you had to match the energy to the color as well but it looks like they are more like ranks with orange being the highest rank. Orange energy can go into orange, blue, or white slots Blue energy can go into blue or white slots White energy can only go into white slots.

It kinda reminds me of the board game, Space Base. I think the graphics and theme are doing most of the heavy lifting there.

Looks like a fairly straight-forward but addictive game. Honestly im waiting for a game like these to introduce something that, to avoid saying that it's more exciting, just adds somethjng new to the table. Some characters with mechanics rarely ever seen before: we've already seen offensive, difensive and siege playstyles before, what about characters that attack in a different way, that is still similar to the usual combat, or characters that straight up avoid combats and require you to think a different way. Also the tutorial is a little scuffed, they teach you everything just after you've learned it by yourself lol. Thankfully the gameplay is simple and intuitive

This game is cool. And it's even cooler, when you continue to play it. I love the second ship with its own mechanics, pilot talents and traits. I feel that after 25 hours I haven't tried all modules! The escape feature is pleasant: when you don't know bosses, it doesn't feel unfair that you are not prepared.

I just wish the translation job on this game was tighter. Some descriptions are downright contradictory, others are just really vague or missing key information. It really lets the game down and turns the opportunity for fun and engaging tactics into a game where you're kinda fumbling through and just guessing at what's really going on with the game mechanics. I'm sure if you stagger through enough rounds that you'll just learn the ropes but instead of being enjoyable getting yourself to that point of mastering the game, it feels kinda punishing because the in-game info is too open to interpretation.

Devs: one sure way to make sure I'll never play your game is to make your protagonists wear headphones. That sh*t is so early 2000's 'what stuffy publishers think is hip' that it makes ne puke all over the place. The idea that a smaller dev would choose that look says to me someone is a little immature. No offense, but that design offends me.

@@OlexaYTI mean I could literally cut out where the ship is in both games and it'll look the same lol, I saw this and thought "this is ftl with better graphics" then saw the game play and thought "completely different game play"
