Surly a moment either of them will be soon to forget, if ever. That said, gotta give credit where credit is due, and considering the roughly 8k miles it took him to migrate from Sudan to Texas to be there; might’ve been more amazed by the overall logistics involved (or that it’s even possible to do) in skateboarding coast to coast. Which, in taking into account each of their journeys up until that point, where they cross paths essentially because of a useless wooden toy must’ve been an utterly mind blowing experience.

The amount of support your building, where 3-4 people just today came and found you is insane! THEN the guy who takes you for tacos.. his wife is an addiction therapist?!... Sometimes in life... You ride your wheels til they fall apart, but you gotta try and make sure your bearings still roll. Your the bearing lube for me lately... That didn't come out right... All the love my man your journey is making my journey better.

I feel like America is full of a lot of people who are pushing hard to create a better life for themselves and their families. I feel like we get a bad reputation because you only hear about the negative things in our world. Dude you are really encountering some truly amazing people. So happy to see all the good people out there in our beautiful country. ❤ I agree just the opportunity to see different things and meet different people is so cool. That dude with the therapist wife seems like such a great person. What an amazing experience you’re having. So happy for you.

Boy are you right I live in California and its it feels like that sometimes everyday almost, you could go weeks without encountering a nice real person. Ive went months where every interaction is almost negative or just bad.
@dbandthekings9206
@dbandthekings9206 Жыл бұрын
@@TRAVIESO_NA as I’ve gotten older I have learned to just let those negative people just exist and do their own thing. I just do my best to avoid the ones that I can and the ones that I can’t. I just kind treat them as if they’re like something that you wouldn’t listen too. In one ear and out the other. I used to try to help them but I learned that I end up just being pulled down with them. So I learned to just let them be negative but I keep away. I don’t know if I’m explaining myself the way I intended but that’s what works for me. I guess in other words I focus on what’s going to elevate me emotionally and spiritually. My goal is to sleep well at night and feel like the sun is shining on my face everyday.

I'm 53 yo female and I have skateboarded on and off since 1976. I've never been good because I have fear...I wasn't ever encouraged as a kid and I atleast over came enough to still try. I live in an area with steep grades but I still try on flat areas. Your videos are very, very encouraging!! Gonna ride a bit today ❤🎉😊 and maybe every day I can....if you can do 29 days on the road surely I can do some in a row in my area.

if you can learn to slowly progress correctly fear should almost never come in play - that goes for anything - I love to do all sorts of dangerous activities - and ive learned that they all can be done in a safe manner - go slow , practice lots, and have fun

I'm 59 female and took up longboards about 10 years ago. Chad is inspiring to me, too. When I'm out pushing and fear comes upon me, I think of Chad riding over huge rocks, cracks, and stuff. I tell myself that more speed is better to ride over rocks. The guy has no clue how he's inspiring people.

Tip for mastering hills: start from the bottom, not the top. walk up from the bottom until a spot you feel safe riding down from and then go a bit higher every time. always wear protection and don't feel stupid sitting down on your board if something is really too steep or fast for you, not everybody needs to be a crazy hill bomber. be safe and have fun

It's crazy the impact we can have on other people simply by getting out and meeting them. Sort of like the bees, they fly around collecting pollen going about their business with absolutely no idea of the full scale impact of their actions. We could never survive on this rock without the humble work of the bees and their message is loud and clear, get out and do shit, Meet other people and see where it goes. Look back later at the impact of your actions. The way you are inspiring folks to make acts of kindness is astounding, you sir are an absolute legend for Forest Gumping your way into our hearts. Shit Happens my dude. #BeeHighVibes
