I started flying gliders 20 years ago..now I fly A320 for a living but will definitely get back into gliding…this is the purest form of flying…

That's gutsy flying, so low to the ground. Bank too much & the tips of those long wings will be hitting something. Gliding over the surf? Not too many thermals there.

except it's not really, cause in most countries they will suspend any licenses you have if you do stuff like this without permission. This "can be" gliding, under certain circumstances :) But great footage, nonetheless

Ironically when I think of gliding I think peace tranquility. Then there’s these videos where they feel the need to fill the peace with annoying broken fragmented background noise that’s suppose to be a cool soundtrack or something….just saying

Excellent video work. The thing that isn't illustrated here is the sound. I just love the sound of a glider. That whistle of the air is just like flying a fast jet where you have left your engine sound behind. It is pure magic compared to flying a powered aircraft.

Sehr beeindruckende Clips! Vieles davon kann man leider nur an von hier aus weit entfernten Orten genießen. Also sei glücklich und dankbar, dass Du deine Passion zu deinem Lebensinhalt machen konntest und auch davon jeden Tag leben kannst. Um so mehr freue ich mich als daily Office-worker, Vereins-FI und und Flachlandkurbler hier im Norden immer wieder solch wunderschöne Glider-Stories von dir wenigstens als Video geniessen zu können. Such a beautiful video! Four months ago I started three flights later I quit, because I don’t feel safe and there was a deadly crash in the trees with somebody else of the club. When I see this kind of videos, I want to start again !

I get to go.for a ride in my first glider this summer. I'm so freaking excited. Flown in planes and jets but never a glider. It looks so peaceful and fun.
