Happy Sunday! Back to back videos, who is this? Haha. This is a video that we have thought about doing some some time but never really knew what angle to come from. We hope that this video can help anyone struggle with going back to the gym, anyone struggling with body dysmorphia, body image, relationship with the gym, etc. Thank you for being here with us and spending your Sunday with us. Sending you a big hug. A+B

Our community can be so cruel. I have to admit I started watching because you two were very good looking, just out of curiosity. Then, you drew me in because you showed me there was more (a LOT more) than just the superficial. And now you’ve hooked me probably forever because of the recent addition ❤. I’ve been battling severe depression since sending my soul dog to the bridge last year. I’ve been just functioning. My health had always taken a back seat and this past year has been a rollercoaster of health issues as I’m now an “old man”. I had very few role models to look up to as the generation I would have looked up to was nearly wiped out. I’m hoping it’s not too late for me to try to turn myself around, but you’re giving me some motivation. Thank you. Please don’t let the comments get to you, being in the public eye I guess makes you a target, but do take your health seriously for yourselves, if I can at least be a warning. Life is not physically easier as you age. Thank you again guys.

Brian, your message truly touched us - thank you. It's never too late to start turning things around, and we're so glad to hear that our journey is providing you with some motivation. We understand the challenges and send you strength and positivity. Keep taking steps forward, no matter how small, and remember, your health and well-being are precious. We're going to have good days and then we're going to have some not so good days. You can do it - if I (Adam) can do it, you can do it. I have faith in you. Big hugs to you, and let's keep moving forward together!

Don't listen to those arses who make comments about the changes in your body shapes. You are two beautiful men and your beauty radiates from who you are in your hearts. You are loving, kind and incredibly sweet. It is wonderful how you have been willing to open your lives to others as you battle addiction, depression and all the daily challenges so that others may benefit from each lesson you learn. I just started watching your videos, and I must say that from what famous people have said, sharing your life for thousands of people out there takes a toll. Your videos are wonderful, your personalities feel like friends I have known for years, and your physiques are worth emulating (at 68, probably not a goal for me). Social media is so new still that nobody truly knows how much it impacts a person. I think I will take a social media break too.

Being healthy and fit is important but you are very lucky to both have the emotional support from your partner which is even more important. I went through the same process to get back to the gym at 60 years old but it did feel a little bit harder I think without a partner's support. I hope to keep it up and am already seeing results like you guys. I wish I could send you pics here to show you my results because I really feel much younger now that I'm getting back in shape. Greg.

I began working out in March after many years of not. I am pre-diabetic so I need to exercise. My gym is close, so it’s makes it easier to motivate myself to go regularly. I also hired a trainer to keep things going.. But in June I injured my shoulder enough to have surgery which has restricted my workouts, It’s a long process coming back but gradually I’m able to increase my workouts. I’m still not back to where I was when I began but I’m improving. I find that it becomes addictive but it also has become more of something I enjoy. I try not to be discouraged and stay positive. It’s so much about mental health as well as physical. My body is responding and it has become a permanent part of my routine. Kudos to you guys for getting back into a routine and working out again yourselves. It’s great to have each other for that motivation.. You guys are adorable together, I enjoy seeing what you’ve done with your home in that beautiful location. Much happiness..

So much to say. All of your honesty and transparency about body image is going to make a difference in some people’s lives. You are one of the beautiful couples we see as we scroll through social media. I’m sure it was never your intention to make people feel like less, by setting the bar so impossibly high for the rest of us. But that is a side effect of some videos. The sharing of your struggles is so important. I was a club kid and circuit party guy who did unhealthy things to achieve the look, but I felt like it was what was required to be seen in that culture. I wish you well in your fitness goals with this new program. The coaching method seems great. I know you will be excited about the change in appearance, but I hope you also focus on strength, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and the feeling of self-confidence that comes from showing up and giving it your best. Peace and love.

Though I've found one of the biggest issues is how different (everyone) of all genders, sexual preferences, etc. treat you different. It seems our species (in all lanes) tend to gravitate to whom we deem as "the pretty ones." I've tried to use my own change in body as a means to self analyze if I've lived my own life with such a slanted perspective. It's eye opening to say the least. Back in the gym and slowly finding my happy place but not trying to be as obsessed. We're all gonna get old one day. If we're lucky. Might as well focus on the spirit more than the body and see what love we can give & receive out there before it's time to go. warmth to whomever is reading this. And know... you're pretty hot. No matter your shape or body type. ox

GOOD DAY and GOOD VIBES sent to you guys from clear across the country, South Carolina representing. I just a few weeks ago celebrated my 60th birthday … it really is the first time I’ve given the “number” hard thought. It’s a bit difficult to take when in your mind, your feeling like 30 and similarly I question , because I work out … why don’t I look better ?, I work really long hours … why don’t I have more ?,I’m a good soul … why is there no one significant in my life ? I then realize that I find more peace and calm, when I am not concentrating and questioning,Why and where I am not … but more on reflecting where I’ve been, and having extreme gratitude for where I am. True growth is not comparing your life to someone else’s, but more in reflecting on your past, and seeing and rewarding the positive changes you’ve made in yourself. Anyway, I’ve watched you guys from the very beginning and just wanted you both to know how much I enjoy and respect your content and life view.

Happy belated 60th birthday, Mark! Your reflection on life's journey is both inspiring and relatable. It's amazing how looking back with gratitude can bring so much peace. In rehab and even Dr. Solomon, practicing gratitude is such a big component of recovery. Thank you for the reminder and sharing your thoughts with us and for your long-term support. Your message reminds us all to appreciate our journeys and the growth we've experienced. Thanks for being here and for the kind comment.

Dearest BernAdam, the beauty of life is that it is full of up and down. When you're up create good memories, but when you're down, you're full of chalenges to reflect and improve something that needs to be done. Body and mental health must work out together. Take each and every new chalenge in your lives in a positive way, knowing that changes are about to come, but ease on you, don't pressure because life has its own time. You will always be our real life heros. And don't forget LOVE, LIVE, LEARN n LAUGH MAC

Certainly the pandemic of 2020 and 2021 forced us to change many habits. It's good that you have found a new motivation to resume gym training: "mens sana in corpore sano = una mente sana en un cuerpo sano = a healthy mind in a healthy body", which is why individual physical exercise is very important. I recommend, and since you have those wonderful landscapes within your reach and as long as it is not too cold, jogging for an hour and a half and you will notice a fine-tuning in your body. On days without the gym, do jogging. There are 24 hours in a day, dedicate two hours to keeping your body healthy and your mind and soul will thank you. A big hug and a lot of encouragement. I do jogging and go to the gym, I previously did a lot of mountaineering and also competitive sports: field hockey. Besossss

David, we're truly grateful for your long-term support and for sharing your thoughts with us. Remember, taking the first step back to the gym is the biggest victory. I didn't think I was ready to go back but having the accountability (for me) was a big plus. We believe in you and if I can do it, you can :). Thanks for being here with us.

I know this is a sponsored ad, but I believe you guys are sincere. Thank you both for talking about this. Adam, when you were doing physique competitions in Brazil, it didn't seem rational. It was obvious you had body-image issues. Your willingness to deal with and share your problems helps so many. Bernardo - thanks for sharing your issues. Because you're less flamboyant about your problems, and your physique always seemed effortless, I didn't see what you were going through. I wonder how many bodybuilders have similar issues. While I'm on the subject, one of my favorite moments in your videos was when Adam was being announced at a Brazilian competition as "Adam Pa-tche" with Brazilian pronunciation. It's a keeper!

I remember Adam having a hard time back when you guys where in South America and then Edwardo taking a break from filming but never had I ever known the extent of what you guys were going through. I recently lost my job of 9 years and found myself lacking the will to do anything. It's just added to the hate that i already felt about myself. I like the positivity and growth here.

Hey guys you two have absolutely no way of body shaming. You guys stay in shape and eat very healthy your outgoing a and active. Your not in your twenties. Adam and Bernardo the two of you are maturing into the two most handsome men I know. Get over it and stop being so image stealers. Just stay and keep what your doing. How's my buddy Henry? Bernardo states, "I think my approach is more holistic." It's all about life-in-balance - thank you both for your honesty with your recovery and journey back to wellness! Question: Have you thought about starting a non-profit charitable foundation? Your success on KZfaq could really help support a cause that you're passionate about and encourage others to possibly do the same. Something to plan for in the future and leave a legacy of caring, sharing & giving back. Best Wishes. Richard.
