Saudi Arabia started building their own Super League in 2023! Ronaldo, Neymar, Benzema and two dozen other football superstars have agreed to move to the Middle East.

First, a little context. The rapid development of Saudi football with crazy spending on players began in 2023 as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program. Its goal is to diversify the economy, as at the moment the country is fully reliant on oil sales. And football is one of the important pillars of this program.
Saudi Arabia has declared a goal to get 100 of the best foreign players in their league within the next five years. This information was published by Sky Sports. And we must admit, they started very well.
If you look at TransferMarkt, at the time of creating this video, there are 24 players in the Saudi Pro League worth 10 million euros or more. 23 of them moved here in 2023. Not bad.

I think EPL will be fine but the Euro Farmer leagues are cooked. The only real criticism for the Saudi league is only the top 4 teams are high level. But outside of the EPL it's the same thing so players in those leagues will definitely take that deal

First of all, in our religion, it is a must to be respectfull with other religions except if they lunch an attack to you, if so and you launch an counter attack you have a rules to follow(don’t kill an old people, don’t cut a tree and don’t harm any one who didn’t fight you). Just because he is in the USA doen't mean he is in a better place. I like messi, but saying that ronald went only because of money, then you are wrong. Some other players have been going to Saudi way before but mostly at a retirement point. CR7 has only like 4-5 years to complete his football career...why not retire with such sums of money and such a big offer. Other reasons to think about are: Messi had only and only been known in Barcelona for years, his MAIN career was barcelona based, he started a little fading off with PSG and only rose again when he won the World Cup. so he still had chances to run around other top European Clubs like Bayern. Ronaldo on the other hand, had moved to Man U, Real Madrid, Juventus...and so it was almost impossible for rival clubs to buy him. I LOVE BOTH and am sincerely happy for them.

@@newmanh Messi's family didn't want to move to Saudi Arabia, he already had lots of properties in Miami and the lifestyles are different. There is a large Argentinian community in Miami. At this time Messi had complete football and just decided to go for comfort. CR7 already had money I guess he just wanted more, but it is also true that none of the other top teams in Europe wanted him and I doubt that he would've gone to play for a Valencia or and Everton so he just went to cash his last paycheck which is good for him. Messi got sick of PSG and he keeps saying it, the project was meant to be for Mbappe to shine yet he was being blamed by the fans when they didnt get the results they wanted.

Other reasons to think about are: Messi had only and only been known in Barcelona for years, his MAIN career was barcelona based, he started a little fading off with PSG and only rose again when he won the World Cup. so he still had chances to run around other top European Clubs like Bayern. Ronaldo on the other hand, had moved to Man U, Real Madrid, Juventus...and so it was almost impossible for rival clubs to buy him. I LOVE BOTH and am sincerely happy for them.

why is it a crime to affiliate with other religions apart from Islam? but in Europe, Muslims are free to practice their religion freely. if the league wants to grow more, it should allow freedom of practice to all religion
