Oh, we hit Bass Pro Shops a couple months back and she fell in love with the flys the have... and, ummm, she bought about 3-million smaller flys just because. That is hilarious when you said it looks like that other boaters looking at your pot And it’s kind of funny I used to do a lot of crabbing in the south sound and I used to catch a Lotta people messing with my crab pots now when I see people next to my pots I rush over to make sure great little hole for the little time you were soaking for I will say congratulations, even though at this point as many kayak trips that you have taken you can hold your own in regards to harvesting whatever it is you desire until next time. Hey Ash, Greetings from Thornton Colorado! Just hopped over from Die Hard Fishing. I was smiling ear to ear as you reeled in that halibut. I grew up in Monterey Bay and we would catch crab as well. I actually love red rock crab, and we would catch some monsters at times. Moving back to Northern Cali town of Yreka in several months, 20 miles from Oregon border and two hour drive to coast. You remind me of my daughter who absolutely loves fly fishing and the outdoors . Nice video and ding ding a new subscriber.

You can tell males and females almost by the look of the back alone after a while but I’ve been fooled enough though. Red rocks are good too. Fresh crab is to die for. When I First got to or we limited out from the docks almost always but now it’s different. My father couldn’t believe we got them that fast because he always bought them and he went nuts.

Costco chicken for fresh crab is a solid trade!

I hope you filmed yourself cleaning the crabs. Also, I sent you a KZfaq video tutorial on how to clean lobsters a while back in your instagram DM but you never responded back.

I use the same kayak, a similar NRS Drysuit to haul lobster traps off the coast of Maine. I have to soak my traps longer then a couple hours though.

what brand and model of kayak? i want to get one for crabbing but terrified of the ocean! 😂
