Buenos Aires has about 300 theatres, with shows ranging from independent underground productions to popular musicals. Among the most famous is the internationally acclaimed Teatro Colón, which is considered one of the best opera houses in the world and is renowned for its acoustics and architecture.

Nothing wrong with having Asian food, or any other type of food, when you visit a country where that's not the standard cuisine. A cosmopolitan place like BA has cuisines from all over the world, so why not enjoy them? Personally, I love Thai food and always find a Thai restaurant to eat at in every major city I visit, no matter where I am in the world. When I tell people back home that I had Thai food in some place like Mexico, they usually say, "They have Thai food in Mexico? I thought they only had Mexican food." And I tell them, "You think Americans are the only ones who like to eat other people's foods?!" LOL

If you haven't already, do explore Congresso, between Callao (Entre Rios) and 9 de Julio along Av. de Mayo. For outdoor jogging, join the crowd that jogs the park in Congresso. For wine, try VinoTeca Rubi corner of Hipolito Yrigoyen and Sant. del Estero in Congresso. BTW, the "Hole in the Wall" joint called Ricky's (on the Mall in Congresso) has good cheap Fried Chicken, and fixn's.

Buen video!

Sly!! I've been binge watching your Argentina videos as I am planning on moving there for the winter (from Canada)! I have a strict gym routine here and it's important to me to keep it up while I"m there. Do you have any gyms you recommend? Did you try out a few before choosing? I'm apartment hunting in Palermo and Villa Crespa, anything you like in those areas?

@Mongoose1981 We are not talking about New York, this video is about Argentina, I compared Medellin with Buenos Aires and Medellin is much more dangerous. Colombia in general has much higher percentages of robberies and crimes than Argentina . Now if you like Colombia more It is something else . But as a tourist, Buenos Aires is much safer.

It´s good to see my country in the eyes of foreign people! Hope you like it. It is really not that clean as you would think. There are a lot of people living in the streets who pee everywhere. But yes, it is a beautiful city with parts more taken care of than others. You would love Córdoba and Mendoza also. Don´t stay just at Buenos Aires, because Argentina is huge. Rent a car and just drive around for a few weeks. If you really want to have a good time go north to San Isidro, or Tigre but not on the highway. It is really nice.

Not many. And there is more people of Japanese ancestry than actual Japenese, they immigrated in the first half of 20rh century and not in big numbers. During the last 40 years, from East Asia there is immigration from China and Taiwan, and also there was from South Korea (although almost ended in the last 10 years approx.).
