Oh i saw this video ypu reacted like a 20 times, and i cant get bored with it. Its a very good animatee Nutshell of the German Modern History.... and yet, its involved with other countries too which really really good. Thats why i love History, the war, the life that our ancenstors lived, and also becouse its involved with Geograpy.... mannn i love it !

The Saarland was actually an independent country after ww1 and ww2. Both Times, over 90% of the Population voted for being part of germany instead of Independence or being fr*nch. The reason Germany is often portrayed as Bavaria only could be that the Americans nevef had much to do with Germany internationally and after occupying Bavaria they brought that Image of Germany to the states, to movies and around the World. Another Note: These "random Ports" are actually the Cities Bremen and Bremerhaven. Wich is weird because they are their own Bundesland (Federal State) now, but arent really a City State because they are two cities, but not an regular state either. And also they arent connected

The plans was for france to build a defensive line from Switzerland to the Belgian border the Maginot line and to put infantry in Belgium but The french had lost the alince with beligum right before ww2 so they didn't have enough time to expand the Maginot line or get troops to the Belgian German border in time when Germany invaded. The allies didn't expect Germany to take tanks through the Arden forest since they thought tanks couldn't go through there.

That thing with Lithuania was about Klaipėda (Memel in German) and it's quite weird or interesting story: after Versailles in 1919 Klaipėda was put under joint Entante occupation (mainly French), while newly formed Lithuania, which just came out of war over it's capital Vilnius with Poland (Kaunas became officially a temporary capital, since every iteration of constitution referred Vilnius as the capital), desired Memel, because it had no port. So they decided to use prusso-Lithuanian declaration of uniting little Lithuania with Greater Lithuania (historical regions, not state names, also the population between local Germans and Lithuanians was 50/50 with Lithuanians dominating the countryside) back in 1918 March and staged an artificial rebellion using army veterans and Riflemen union in 1923 (Germans somewhat supported it cause French). After that and Ambassadors' conference the Klaipėda region was integrated into Lithuania with autonomy rights.

I think it's very good that they used the correct flag for West Germany. Many people assume a version with the federal eagle for West Germany, but that is wrong. The flag of the Federal Republic has not changed from 1949 to today and has always been without an eagle.

Just wanna tell you that you’re in Andjobe’s Zombie series.

The plan that France created to defend in a possible war against Germany was to make the Maginot defense line and then rush the best UK and French troops into Belgium and (alongside the Belgian troops) create trenchlines and smaller fortifications running from the end of the Maginot all the way to the Belgian sea. Unfortunately the plan was rendered ineffective, as Belgium chose to be independent after the UK and French alliance as the king of Belgium somehow thought that it would mean that French would pay less attention in protecting Belgium. It was believed that it was impossible to pass through the Ardennes as they are thick forrest and there is a river trhough the basin (especially impossible for an armored force). Some French pilots even reported the lines of German tanks and vehicles amassing on the Belgian-French border, but the high command refused to believe the recon pilots as they thought it would be impossible and a stupid idea. In fact the German force that entered France through the Ardennes was very disorganized and the smartest military decision would have been to wait for the rest of the forces to pass and reorganize, but the brave and cunning tank commanders decided to push through with everything that they had left and therefore did not give any time to France and the UK to counter what they were doing. This is why Dunkirk and the consequential fall of France occured.
