Next season will be fun. There are some incredibly emotional moments, as well as some call backs. There's a good bit of world building in the first little bit of the season, and the marine side story should be a lot more interesting next time around. I hope it's good, and I hope you enjoy it. ❤

"I dont want it to end" me fr every sunday when the new weekly anime episode drops. But real talk; the live action was such fresh breath of air and i loved how it wasnt 1on1 adaptation of anime. Live action told the same story just in a different way and thats all that matters to me. TBF i do have some critique what could have been done better XD but in general the live action surpassed my expectations and i had them high, trust me. People describe this part of the story the introduction to it as most of the proper plot starts at Grand Line, so im looking forward to season 2

You should watch the "season 2 announcement", its short with the One Piece author giving his thanks for the reception and saying there will be a second season with a small tease of a character that will appear there, one that I bet you will love

It seems like every season is gonna end on a double header of :elevated stakes: + :elevated action:. The next one is kind of solidified and if they pull it off like they did this season, it will be even better. I will admit that it gets increasingly hard to condense the later arcs into a single season, and I worry about the impact a double work load will have on Oda. But if they can keep this up, there is good reason to be hype.

Hi great reaction! It was great to follow the journey so far, waiting for season 2! I read the manga and about the adaptation, if you don't want to see the whole anime, just look at Usopp's part, because it shows more of his motivation to go to sea and improves the character. And I think it would be cool even after the series ends to watch here on the channel at least episode number 19 of the anime, because it is the story of Zoro and Kuina that is very well explored, at least here on the channel you should watch this one! hug from Brazil 🇧🇷

I'm a fan of the anime, & I loved the Netflix adaptation, BUT the anime is very different. The anime has deeply emotional moments, like the Nami "help me" scene which is practically lifted from the anime, but it's also much goofier. The Netflix show runners really toned down the cartoony goofiness so it would have a broader appeal, which I think is one of the reasons it was so successful. Overall I would say if you like the anime, you'll probably like the adaptation, but if you like the adaptation, you may not like the anime.

How about this - watch the anime while waiting for season 2, while waiting for season 3 either finish the anime or start the manga, and then while waiting for season 4 rewatch/catch up with the anime (either watch it in Japanese the first time, then in English the second time, or the other way around).

Characters we're probably going to meet next season: Smoker - re the ending, and possibly in the first scene, re the young blonde boy Dragon - don't know when we'll find out something important about him, but we'll probably meet him next season (possibly already did, re the green cloak and hood in the opening scene) Ace - there are a LOT of character's in this story, but Ace still remains one of the most popular Laboon - not sure when we're going to get the full story but we're probably going to meet him. Really good chance you'll adore him, we all do Chopper - based on what I've seen of the trailer for the Last Airbender, I don't think the CGI will let us down, it all comes down to the voice actor

@@tevinlogan8781Well we don't know how lo g it will take to write the script & considering they've shown the script team off I'm sure they've started it plus then casting people & filming but half the props they can reuse so that'll save them some time, then post editing so you never know it might come end of 2024 but we'll see

That’s definitely going to be the start of Season 2. Loguetown is too important to skip because it’s where Zoro gets the swords to replace the ones that broke in his fight with Mihawk & the events of Loguetown also inspire a future character in the series.
