This Is How You DON'T Play Hitman 2 (2018)

DSP trying to mess with the Hitman series again. He finished the main story in 11 hours and then spent 2 more hours on the first elusive target and redoing the Miami episode. I didn't include most of the main target kills because he usually went with some side mission for an easy kill, so you won't miss anything there.
Drinking game: Take a shot every time he kills a non-target, gets compromised, or caught trespassing.

Oh, I remember that one. I was watching Tevin's restream of it. He spent 2 hours trying to kill Sierra Knox. Everyone were just "Jesus, just go over there and shoot her already and make a run for it!" He then opted to finally use mission stories to get her.

He complains that Miami is “too complicated” 😂 hahaha. Miami took me like 30 minutes first time through. It’s a fun map but compared to the rest of the game it’s basically a second tutorial map

It's even better because he rejected the offer of a guide for it, too. Said he wanted to figure it out all by himself (Then glares at chat), and proceeds to struggle and consider it too complicated.

No... it's definitely NOT a tutorial map. Most of the Story challenges are time-based - NOT tutorial'esque.

The idea that DSP has no idea how to use basic logic when it comes to videogames that he has been playing for over 10 years now is not only ridiculous but borderline insane. These games aren't hard, even doing a rampage of shooting damn near everyone is easy in these games yet DSP has a hard time closing a damn door.

1:04:00 You cannot take a body out of the container. So if devs would let you do it, chances are you'd screw yourself and make the mission impossible to progress by storing target in the container, where they cannot be killed.

I was surprised that he managed to get trough tutorial without screwing up. Not counting killing non-target, which did ruin his "silent assasin" but also is a challenge that gives you exp to unlock gear....so accomplisments in ignorance? Edit: actually, I take it back: he waited too long 04:20 and got detected.

Yeah but even then honestly I was expecting way worse, he didn't do too bad. 4 star rating on a first try isn't too horrible for someone who doesn't play Hitman games much. Fuck though, the next missions are where it got gnarly.

@@gilless429 His playtrough of Hitman 2016 Colorado mission probably was the worst of that series. Unlike other maps, Colorado is more of a metal gear solid-type of covert operation than usual assasination: whole camp is off-limits without disguise and everyone of the hundres of NPCs is armed. It went just about as well as Phil's MGS playtroughs with him getting detected at every turn. Of Hitman 2 I'd say his Mumbai mission is pretty horrible. Mumbai is in size and scope eronomous(one of ther reason why elusive target was never released there) but you'd think that no one with mission stories enabled can take 4 hours to finish it. I can't say if he delayed it on purpose to milk some donos or was he really that stupid that even with handholding mechanic he could take that long.

@@Ruosteinenknight Yeah Mumbai is not just huge, but easy to get lost in at first (which according to the guy at IO who was the main person in charge of the creation of the map was on purpose), but you'd think with the mission stories enabled and the waypoints that come with them it'd be pretty easy. I gotta admit, as someone who's a bit of a Hitman fanatic, with countless thousands of hours in Blood Money and over 2,000 hours in Hitman 2016 + Hitman 2, watching ANYONE who isn't pretty darn good play Hitman games can be a bit cringe for me, but Phil's play on some of these missions is... far beyond that. If watching the average person play them stings like a needle, watching him was like a bear clawing my goddamn face off.

Is this guy attempting to set the bar for stupidity, or am I late? I just don't understand how a grown individual could cognitively function without any bit of discretion THAT SHOULD otherwise alter their course of direction given that predicament.

Hes playing it on normal where the game gives you some hints and guides you a bit. It's only hard on professional where all that stuff is disabled and you can only save 1 time a level
