It's funny because missing a couple games in the series and not knowing the new characters is a quasi-legit reason someone would lose a match. If he'd just say "I don't really know that character well enough to play against him" I'd say "yeah man, I know what that's like," but he's just such a sore loser about it that it's impossible to relate.

TTT1 is exactly like T3, just the tag stuff and additional T2 characters. TTT1 did had a solo mode (only in the console version), right? Yes, the earlier Tekken games DID have juggles in them. You just gotta know your characters. Honestly, the game's more interesting with juggles. Solo mode, for me is getting to know my character on a personal level better. Besides, the game ain't that serious.

***** Yes, they were, earlier tekken games had death juggles (so if you got hit once you died, literally). Those 70% life combos would be circumstantial and hard to pull off in the new tekkens. In the old tekkens you need ONE LAUNCH and you were dead.

I am amazed. He really thinks that an improvement in overall skill at the game in TTT1 was actually a change in the way the game worked. Holy shit. Only DSP would brag about winning a local Tekken 3 tournament when you could compete in international televised tournaments just by using Law's b+2,3,4

I've never played Tekken, but even I can tell that Phil is only using the most basic combos for his characters. Maybe if he practiced a bit so he can string some more moves together, he could be halfway decent. But this is Phil we're talking about here; practice is just a waste of time for a man of his...I want to say skill?

I'm the first to admit that I'm absolutely rubbish when it comes to playing Tekken online. Nevertheless I still play this game as it's such a good fun fighting game. However bad I might be I never whine and moan like this when losing. Sometimes you lose unluckily in a very close fight and sometime you just get your arse kicked like hell. Of course one will be disappointed in losing but that's is life, accept the loses and move on to the next fight. Most of the stuff Phill moans about like "I can't block low cause it's too laggy" around 36:45 when clearly the connection is at the highest settings and no lag to be seen is sad and pathetic. Also around 31:14 where he moans about a Lee kick stopping him from doing his move please.... Everyone can see Phil moved into his range hence why he got hit and calling it random just shows he is looking for an excuse to justify why he is getting beaten.He clearly knows that this game franchise has moved on since Tekken 3 (as he states at the start of the vid) yet he is still seems to be living in the past of his glory Tekken 3 days.

Paul is DSP’s security blanket, he repeatedly uses Paul’s charged punch that does close to 50% damage. Phil will alway use the character in the game that has the strongest attacks so he can easily beat you, because the one thing Phil hates is losing. But if someone else were to use those exact same attacks and techniques against him, well now that is cheating and totally not fair. Phil is the only one that is allowed to play like that while trying to act like he isn’t trying to cheese his way to victory. Phil acts just like a spoiled little child that hates loses so much, he will always pick a character with the most a over powered moves so he can easily win and not through a hissy fit and cry because someone is better than him.

I love how he complains about people spamming n such, when all he does are the same combo's. He thinks that the more you do a long combo the better you are. But then i dont care how people play personally, i find things annoying,sure but i expect them since i am online. I just accept it and carry on, its a shame he cant do the same. But as he has made obvious he was and is spoiled and he will never change.

@z-saber
@z-saber 10 жыл бұрын
There is no such thing as simply "juggling the entire match". In Tekken, you need to connect a slow launcher move to start your juggle combo. If a player gets launched, he/she did something wrong, that's like the most basic thing about Tekken. Either the player was careless and used terribly unsafe move and got punished/countered as a result or something else like that. I mean that juggling is usually a risk vs reward system. But I agree that it's not very fun for a new players to get bombarded with constant long combos filled with tag assaults. They might lose interest in the series and not come back, which is naturally not a great thing.

I find it bewildering that across two parts of this "gameplay" (I really didn't want to call this horse shit gameplay...) that he religiously complained about imagnary lagginess, but in the 4th round of the "fight" (and I'm using that word generously also...) against Lars and Bryan, where there finally was Lag, ADN IT WAS NOTICABLE, he forgot to mention the game "being so laggy". Maybe because he miraculously won that round... @JasonX440, this was a good way to waste an hour, I laughed, I cried, I slapped my head, I WTF'd OFTEN... You should get this guy to teach seminars and instruct everyone to do THE EXACT OPPOSITE of DarksydePhil... Sad thing is throughout part 1, I swore this was some 16 year old kid playing somewhere in Suburbia, not this overgrown Douche. TTT2 was marketed as having the largest roster in the Franchise's history, Phil said himself that he skipped 4 and 5 (I personally think he skipped 1 thru Tag also...), WHY THE F*CK would he jump right into online play without at least playing against these "new characters" offline first???

Because part 1, the video before this said, the guy talking is not actually playing, just showing how not to play. The game looks pretty amazing.
